26 A Potential Love Rival?

Once Yang reached his limited edition Maybach car, he immediately got in and drove to CQWX Bar.

He arrived in 20 minutes and currently it was around 8 pm (a little after 8:15 pm) and there was not much traffic so he arrived at a moderate time.

All three men; Qin Mingyu, Xi Longwei*, and Noah Cheng were already in their private room reserved only for the owners of the club. The three men were similar yet different from each other.

Qin Mingyu has his private investigator agency called Qin's PI Agency and is the Chairman/CEO. He is a rather handsome man, with a lively and warm personality with a handsome face. His face and body is like that of a k-pop idol and standing at 6 ft and 26 years old (soon turning 27 and older than Xiu Ying). Along his personality, many ladies swoon over him rather than his cold friends.

Xi Longwei is rather mysterious and although it is known that he does other things besides being the chairman of Xi Conglomerate that deals with technology and weapon manufacturing. He is a rather aloof, handsome man with a lean yet with all the right muscles that makes him look sturdy and strong but not bulky standing at 6'1 ft/185.9 cm and 27 years old. The mysteries that surround him makes others admire but also fear him at the same time.

Noah Cheng is an international criminal lawyer and has minored in psychology at 28 years old. He works in his family law firm however it is run by his elder sister so he does not have to take over and become a CEO though he does own his own shares and dividends. He has a gentle appearance with gold rim glasses that subconsciously lowers people guard down that helps him a lot but although seemingly gentle, he is a very polite and distant person who values privacy the most. His gentle appearance makes him more handsome although his face already is handsome enough and his gray eyes always seem to show a gentle aura coming out yet distant at the same time. Couple with his lean figure at 6 ft, although does not have much muscle still is fit and strong and is an ideal man to many.

All these four men, similar in height (with Longwei the tallest), all very handsome, and are very successful makes them the ideal men to all in the country. They are the nation's pride to many as they are of fully Chinese descent except for Noah who's mother is British but father is Chinese.**

All four of them are extremely busy hence why Mingyu was excited and made sure that Yang could come as it is very rare to see all four of them gather together, especially for Mingyu as because he is a private investigator himself, there are times he goes off the radar to find information needed.

Once Yang went to the private elevator and reached the third floor reserved for the owners especially in the bar he walked straight to the only door and placed his finger on the fingerprint scanner to let himself in.

He got in and saw all three of his childhood friends sitting on the sofas with Mingyu mostly chatting while the other two silently drank wine from their glasses and responded to Mingyu once in a while. Noah was the first to notice Yang's arrival as he faced the door so he nodded his head towards Yang. Yang only nodded back and sat down on an empty sofa then filled a wine glass with the expensive red wine.

Longwei, although cold and mysterious, was still somewhat less cold with his love ones and childhood friends so he sighed when he saw how Yang and Noah acted with each other.

It was a silent taboo to never mention Xiu Ying because Yang and Noah were love rivals however because they were childhood friends they respected and only played fair while courting Xiu Ying. The results were Yang had won Xiu Ying's heart however besides Feng Mian, Naoh Cheng would be considered her male best friend.

After Yang broke Xiu Ying's heart, both men had a slight cold war because of it and were not as close as before.

'It's a pity that they are like this now, however who told them to fall in love with the same woman, then one gets to become the boyfriend while one gets best friend zoned? Later Yang also broke her heart because of that old man and now Noah holds resentment towards Yang even knowing why Yang did what he did. Sigh, love sure is complicated' Longwei thought, never knowing what he would turn to once he fell in love

(A/N: sigh, Longwei sure says this now, but let us see what would happen once he fell in love too hahaha. So many years to make his love fall in love with him and will become very possessive too tsk tsk tsk)

Mingyu noticed right after Yang had arrived and said, "Yang you're here! Great! It's so nice that everyone is here today finally! After so many weeks!"

Mingyu then started chattering about, trying to ease up the atmosphere. Though he was considered the happy-go-lucky guy, he still was the one with the highest emotional intelligence among his friends and can sense the somewhat tense air between Yang and Noah.

After some time, noticing that the two men still gave off a somewhat cold aura, Mingyu decided to touch on a topic both men were interested in and agreed upon to ease the tense atmosphere.

"Guys, I got some news regarding the old man" Mingyu said and right after, both Yang and Noah turned their heads to Mingyu attentively with perked ears ready to hear everything Mingyu had to say. Mingyu inwardly heaved a sigh of relief and started speaking once he started seeing the impatience in Yang and Noah's eyes.

"Ok so get this, I heard Young Master Suzuki or that old man's nephew Riku would be coming here to China! Remember how I tried investigating them? Well since I could not find anything based on their names and past, I went to check on YingYing's past since she visited Japan multiple times because of Master Huang and get this! It seems all three of them hung out and were childhood friends and seemed close until one point, YingYing stopped going to Japan and even Master Huang stopped frequently going to Japan. It took a very long time to verify that the two young boys that YingYing hung out with were them as they hid their past very well but I had one connection that was able to help me verify them." Mingyu reported what he knew to the two men forgetting that mentioning Xiu Ying's name was not a very good idea, and considering both were possessive of Xiu Ying, Mingyu mentioning his nickname for Xiu Ying whom Mingyu considered as his younger sister did not sit well with them. However they endured it as Mingyu had no bad intentions towards her and genuinely only thought of her as his little sister.

Longwei just sighed to himself and wanted to smack Mingyu's head for forgetting about how Xiu Ying's name was a sensitive topic to Yang and Noah later decided against it as what is done is done. Even if he hit Mingyu, he can't take back what he said so Longwei only hopped Yang and Noah would not be too affected because of Xiu Ying's name being brought up. 'Sometimes, Mingyu really needs to stop talking and think over his words when reporting his findings. Whenever he gets into this mood, he forgets about certain things. Sigh' Longwei thought internally before sipping his red wine again and leaning back on the sofa with eyes closed.

Yang on the other hand remembered the two boys Xiu Ying often talked about when she came back from Japan. He was always jealous when she talked about them but held back because back then he did not know why he was jealous but always held resentment against the two boys and hoped to never meet them. Noah on the other hand also remembered them but back then he was not as jealous because he started to like Xiu Ying after Yang during the end of middle school compared to Yang who realized his feelings earlier on. However they both hate them even more now knowing their connections with the old man.
