16 Chapter 16: Second week

"What was that?", Felix asked Peter as he was eating his breakfast.

"I don't know. It just happened, okay?", he was on the same page as the dragon actually.

"I didn't think would see that, boy."

"Young master can be slow but it's true with his feelings."

"My liege found a partner without I even knowing?"

"If you want to talk can you do it away from the kitchen?", he told to his familiars.

"Hi.", Ellen showed up from her room. "What is this face?"

"Your dragon and my familiars."

"Felix is troubling you? That's so adorable.", she said.

"MAKE IT STOP.", Peter screamed in panic. "Ulisses cast Deafened on me."

"Okay.", the wolf was not so sure if his master was right on the head but casted it.

Peter was laughing and ignoring others with the spell on.

"Ulisses cast if off.", Ellen said to him but she was not his master and he didn't do it but then a gold dragon appeared behind her.

"Ahahahaha. Why I am listening to my laugh?", his voice was losing excitement as it was talking. "FELIX.", he shouted. "DON'T THREAT MY FAMILIARS."

"You need to calm down.", Ellen said. "We're just knowing each other as you said."

"Then why did you sleep on my bed?", Peter was panicking.

"So there is more rooms for the familiars."

"I slept on the floor. I can't take it."

"So you didn't want my master?", Felix picked him by the clothes.

"You wanted me to sleep with her?"

"No."

"So make your mind, your dumb dragon.", he slapped the dragon hand and fell on his feet on the floor. "I'll take a bath and leave.", he stopped on the way. "I want Theodore and Ulisses to came today."

"Yes, sir.", the little bear said.

"Hey.", the wolf said to the cub. "Don't climb me. You're going by yourself."

Theodore when on his two feet was a little taller than the wolves on their four. His fur was purple but was so dark that were confused with black. His eyes were like a living emerald.

Ulisses fur would change with the weather and the season. On the fall it was brown this details in white. Both his horn had a little of leaves on them and their fall meaned the end of the Fall and beginning of the Winter.

He left and Ellen went after a while.

"Why are you keeping everyone in the new house?", the wolf asked.

"I need to stop getting attention and focus on what to do to train you all.", the boy said.

"Battles?", the bear asked.

"Not only that but change the way you use magic as well. Rhynus for example is being less extrict in his use of it. Before he would only use against stronger enemies which was not really making much difference and that resulted as well on not training it at all."

"I get it.", Ulisses claimed. "You're trying to see us like we're wizards and have space to improve our own magic."

"Yes but I don't know where this will lead us to. Even a wall could be the answer."

"I can climb a wall.", Theodore said without knowing truly the conversation.

"That'll be the case then.", Peter said to the little guy.

"Be sure of it, sir.", he said it again without knowing the meaning.

"Peter.", was Cecilia asking on distance with a boy on her side.

"Hey.", he waved his hand and approached.

"Who is this?", the wolf asked.

"Ellen's friend and probably her boy... friend?"

"Oh."

"Oh, sir.", he copied the wolf.

"How you doing?", the boy hugged her.

"Good.", she replied and then introduced the boy. "Peter, this is Gabe. Gabe, this is Peter."

"Nice to meet, you.", the boy said to Peter.

"Likewise."

Gabe was taller than Peter and had a build figure. Silver hair, blue eyes and point ears. He was the first demihuman the boy saw on the academy. Normally this kind of people would have money enough to go to any rich school.

"Elf?", Peter thought loud.

"Half.", the other boy smiled answering. "Most people confuses it."

"I've never seen any of both before. I'm sorry."

"Don't be."

"Peter.", she returned. "Gabe and I are dating."

"I'm glad to hear this.", he didn't want to mention anything about Ellen. "I'm going to my class. See you on the afternoon class."

"See you.", she then remembered not seeing Ellen on the girls dorm. "Have you seen Ellen? She was not on the dorm and her room was empty."

"No. Don't ring me a bell.", he was a bad liar. "See you.", he left on hurry to not be caught lying.

"He's funny.", Gabe said.

"He's dangerous.", Cecilia returned. "I don't think anyone on the school knows more about familiars than him even the teachers."

"Is that so?", he looked on the boy climbing the stairs to the main building. "Who would win between him and me?"

"Probably you. His best familiar is a Guard Beetle and yours is one rank above it."

"And this other two that were with him?", he noticed because of the Season Wolf because it was a rare type.

"I don't know but he has this addiction to buy more familiars.", she responded.

"Interesting."

The afternoon came fastly and Peter was more focus during his classes. They always would revise the fire incantations and then follow to the thunder ones. Away from this he started to list some affinities and list them to each of this familiars.

The basics elements and their sub products. Fire and Light. Lightning and Thunder. Water and Ice. Wind and Thunder. Earth and Metal. Between this five were one sub products with two sources. This makes Tempest spells more powerful for this reason.

"Remember incantantions are the way to achieve your goals. Learning the basics is one of many and only with guts you will grasp higher spells.", the teacher would say this once per class.

Incantantions and spells were similar and differents. Incantantions would bring a pure state of element to your control. Simple spells were similar too incantantions since they would handle simple matters. While Intermediate and higher spells would need a lot of incantantions to bring its full power. An example was Peter's Cleansing Dragon spell.

Luke was growing. He didn't know if Fridda had any elemental affinity. Urias was a Hatred Dragon before but his new power were still unclear. Ariel was still to hatch. Lucy was maturing to her true power yet. So he began with his combatant familiars. Lefting non elemental affinities for another time.

Rhynus was a simple minded brute force one. As a beetle he would have Wood element, which was Earth and Water merge. But he thought a little further. Flying familiars wound have a little of Wind element too even if it was too small. So in the end, the Guard Beetle would have Earth, Water, Wood and Wind on his disposal.

Maeve was a Shadow Wolf. Simply putting his main element on his race name. But there was more to add on that. Light is the opposite of the Shadow but both coexist. Darkness is a place full of Shadows or empty of Light. Goes to the list. Maeve was listed with Darkness, Light and Shadow but it would need tests.

Emma was the powerhouse with the Lightning affinity. She would probably could achieve Thunder and Light through it. If the element affinity could go backwards she was capable to have Fire and Wind too. With this much she could be the second "wizard" within them.

Ulisses was on the same page as his friend Emma. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter have within them most of the elements. Spring and Summer carry Fire, Light and Water. Fall and Winter on the other side have Ice, Wind and Shadow. Of course the constant Wood that had Water and Earth within.

Theodore is a physical on his utmost but hidden in him is a special element affinity. The Gravity affinity and its simple function make easy to master and upper the power of the Void Bear as fast and without even one knowing.

"How about you do it for Felix and me?", Ellen said after reading his notes.

"Do it yourself. I have to deal with this much already."

"Please.", she begged.

"Okay but you take the notes as I speak."

"Okay."

"Felix is a gold dragon. So Fire and Light are sure on this. As he is a flying creature he might achieve Wind and then Thunder but the second maybe too much if his affinity with Wind wouldn't be too great.", he looked at her. "That's it."

"My Dragon Tongue brights gold only. Are you sure of your deduction?", she asked.

"Of course I'm not. But I need to try.", he thought a little. "The Dragon Tongue is a reflection of its owner. So your affinity is toward him and not your elements. Maybe you need a time off of him."

"Why are you saying such evil things to me?", she joked.

"Okay.", he sighed. "Stop thinking in your affinity in something as he grants you. Even if you don't and he learns others affinities you'll have access too them either way."

"Oh. So my Dragon Tongue would change colors?"

"NO."

"Silence.", the teacher yelled at him.

"No. Your affinity would still be Felix and if he had his Dragon Tongue would change colors."

"Oh."
