14 Chapter 14: Taking care

"Three old wounded wolves.", Fridda said when they arrived on the boy's room.

"Spoke the old hag who got tricked by her own foolish.", Rhynus returned on her.

"I like this beetle.", Ulisses told.

"You're the worst. Lets begin with you.", Peter said to the wolf.

"Alright.", he couldn't move his own body.

"Fridda put him to not feel anything and to sleep.", she followed the boy commands.

"He is younger than me and were treated as garbage.", Maeve said after looking into Ulisses.

"I can't see. Somebody can tell me how is he's condition?", Emma was preocuppied with her new ally.

"He had his Spring horns cutted so he couldn't change as the Season.", Peter explained.

"A young Season Wolf, young master?", she questioned.

"Yes.", he looked at those around. "From here onward what happens will not leave this place to anyone that isn't here.", all of them agreed. "Lets begin. Rhynus leave the egg with Emma and come here to help me."

"Yes, my liege.", he placed the egg withing her reach and upon contact she embraced it.

"Break his horns again.", Peter holded the wolf head and the beetle broke the horn with his hands. "Lets wait now."

"What are you doing, boy?"

"His closed wounds stagnated his state on the Spring. Opening them I'm trying to his body to adapt to the Fall. Afterwards we'll heal him.", he looked at the familiar again. "Fridda keep him in this state."

"Yes.", she was controlling the state of the Season Wolf.

About two hours passed and his body slowly finished transforming.

"Luke.", he take the chick out of his pocket. "I need you to bright like you did with me, remember?"

"Help dog."

"Yes.", the little bird started to bright on the wolf side. "Rewind.", Peter started his part as well.

Took about an hour of light and reverse time to make the wolf look health again.

"This is exhausting.", the boy said. "Without the horn part this is how I'll treat you."

"Treat her before me, boy.", the shadow wolf said it. "She needs to see at least one of this miracles.", he was mentioning Emma.

"You're too kind, mister.", she thanked him.

He opened the wounds and healed them with Luke's power and Rewind rune. Emma was first and Maeve second. After healing everybody he established Blood Cerimonial with the three wolves granting them a younger body.

"My prime all over again. I really need to thank you, boy."

"With this I have the chance to hunt that bastards."

"I'll keep my promise and you won't fall for any enemy, young master."

"I need a bigger room.", he said looking that every familiar was squashed. "Everyone stay here. Emma and Maeve come with me."

"Where we going to, boy?"

"More respect with young master, Maeve."

"It's okay, Emma. You must feel free to talk to me as you want. We are going to the main building looking for an apartment rent. This place is not large enough for all of you feel comfortable."

"Are you serious, boy?"

"Why?"

"Are you treating us as you treat another person?"

"Maeve.", Emma complained again with the other wolf words.

"It's okay, Emma. I'm not treating you as another people but as like I'd like to be treated. A familiar is a extension of its master. Keep this in mind.", he explained and reached the main building.

"Hey, isn't he who defeated senior Kloutz with a Guard Beetle?"

"Yeah but where those wolves came from?"

"A SHADOW WOLF?"

"And a lightning one too."

The students were leaving and heading to their extra classes as they saw him passing by. This generated a lot of new rumours. The most fun one was that his familiar could change their forms. What could be true but non sense.

"Miss, have you a list of rents near by the school?", he talked to a secretary.

"One moment, student...?"

"Peter."

"A moment, please, Peter.", she started looking into some files and get it two papers.

"Here is a list of rents near by and here is a registry form for your familiars as you seen to be buying them and didn't inform the school.", she smiled as a threat.

"I'll do it right away.", he counted and was till ten of them. "All of them or the only the school wasn't informed?"

"All of them, please."

"Have you a spare as I plan to buy some more?"

"You will reuse this form on the next acquisitions."

"I know but I'm currently with ten.", he explained and a student on his side dropped his pen.

"Okay.", she looked troubled and gave him another form.

"Here it is, ma'am.", he pushed the form on her direction.

"One moment, let me see if you filled correctly."

"Okay."

"For best I'll say out loud and you confirm, okay?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. After me. Phoenix, Guard Beetle and Wild Fox."

"All check."

"White Long Dragon, Celestial Dragon, Shadow Wolf."

"Right."

"Lightning Wolf, Season Wolf, Void Bear and Sphinx."

"This is right too.", on this moment four students were looking into Peter as they would look to an alien.

"The three last are the only ones we can't confirm can you bring them?", she asked.

"If the other seven are right. Why I would lie for the three last?", he returned the question.

"I'll let slide this time but the other times I'll need you to bring the familiars together."

"Thank you, ma'am.", he left looking into the rent flyer.

"Why are you hiding the both with you, boy?"

"They would call too much attention.", he went back to the rents. "There are two with four rooms only but only one I could afford."

"Four rooms are too many, young master."

"I want to have space and maybe reshape the rooms."

"Any of them to buy then, young master?"

"Not on this flyer.", he looke once again. "Here. I found the one. Three rooms. Studio room. Animal room. And Baby room. It was reformed by a stremer family and they left to another place."

"How much this will cost you, boy?"

"Thousand a month. I don't have the money right now. It'll take me two month till I have enough to move out. This is bad."

"Hey, Peter. I want another duel.", Kloutz surged from nowhere.

"Not now. I need money.", he reponded and talked to himself at the same time.

"I'll pay you if you win. How about it?"

"Wait you know that I can't use magic and are trying to mock me now?"

"Wishing or not you are on the leaderboard but I don't want a duel. I want a fight."

"Any rules?", he started to think about the money.

"One familiar."

"Any of them?"

"Any."

"How much I'll gain from this?"

"A thousand credits is enough?"

"Make it double and we fight right now.", Peter didn't know how to win but he needed the money faster as he could.

"I'll make it double but let's fight tomorrow."

"Okay.", he didn't know what to do and the anxiety started to affect his thoughts.

"Stop thinking for a while, boy."

"Trust any of us to win this, young master."

They went to his room spend the night. It was really lacking space for all of them. Luckly none of them were great as Rhynus. Peter entered the egg mind to think as there the time were extended.

"Luke can't fight. Rhynus is a good match against the Dwarf Dragon but he would be hopeless against Kloutz magic. Fridda is a good option as she would win on an attrition warfare. Maeve is a good match against any of them, not sure about both together. Emma would be my choice if happened there and I can't explain why. Lightning wolves are fast and can use ranged attacks making them well balanced. Ulisses have great affinity with most of elements and are a ranged type. He would loss against a dragon without proper training. Theodore has the size disadvantage and battle experience too. He needs to train as well. Lucy is too childish and I'll let that way for now."

"Master is truly giving a good thought on this battle."

"Ophichus, how about you fight?"

"I wish to but I need condense all the power they're overflowing with."

"And you Odin?"

"I prefer being a support type, master."

"Emma is the optimal choice for this.", Peter said to them.

"There is no doubt about it, master. The others as you said. They aren't bad they are just a bad match or lack something.", the snake rectified its master thought.

"The second would be Maeve.", he said it.

"Rhynus on third and below there is a long shot.", the snake finished the thought.

"Master, there is a law on the wizard's rules that you could have a representative if you can't perform.", the crow said it.

"Now, we're talking. I can see both of them perform together. Maeve and Emma."
