at night.

"im back" silver said with a smile, carrying a rhinoder on his back

after hearing the voice, silvia immediately rushed towards silver, and greet him. "welcome back!" she said in smile with a glint of worry on her face.

silver knew why, its because he came back so late that it made her worry.

"sorry, im late" said silver, with apologetic look.

silvia shook her head in response."its fine, i just got a bit worried"

silvia see carrying a rhinoder. "is that... for lunch?" silvia asked with shock.

tilted his head, confused as he asked back.

"it isnt enough?"

with the shocking response she got from silver, she immediately said "no! its more than enough! its just, that..."

"its just that?"the confused silver tilted his head a bit further.

"thats a rhinoder! a gold 2 monster!" shouted silvia, she didn't expect silver to hunt a gold ranked monster.

'he hunted, a gold rank monster! does that mean he's as strong as gold ranked hunter? or perhaps!-' as she thought to herself, silver cut her off.

"its certainly is strong, if it has intellect, it might win against me. its strength is commendable, that it even made me fly far away."

"does that mean! your as strong as this monster!?" shocked as she asked silver with a shout.

"half right, half wrong"

"what?" silvia tilted her head in confusion

"its true that my strength is the same as him, but im still stronger in terms of ability and skills"

silver shook his head as he replied.

"i see, so um..." silvia cut off her words, wanting to ask a bit more.

seeing silvia being hesitant for a bit, silver couldn't help and asked,

"is there something you want to ask?" silver said.

"ah! um... i forgot to ask a while back, but... are you perhaps a gold rank hunter?" silvia asked with full of expectation on her face.

confused silver couldn't help but ask.

"gold rank?" silver asked in confusion, as he doesn't know the power ranking of this world.

"wait, you dont know?" silvia asked silver with surprise.

silver couldn't help but feel embarrassed, he scratched his cheek and slightly nod his head.

"in this world, there are power ranking system.

humans and monsters have different power rankings. starting from the lowest of the monster rank."

silver is curious as he leaned himself towards silvia a little closer.

the action made silvia flustered.

"ahem, now then. iron rank monster tier starts from 5 to 1, even though theyre monster, they're mostly considered as livestock's, like the fiery hen, wild horned boar and mushroom cow. next is silver rank, it got similar tier to bronze it starts from 5 to 1 aswell, theyre monster capable of beating or killing human adults, like savage bear,trolls, and goblins."
