New world

Lei opened his eyes to a new panel. He looked around and realized he was back to the white space. Like last time, there was nothing but the vastness of white where ever you looked.

Lei focused back on the list. It looked like it was the same with the exception of Naruto which was grayed out. He went over the list and was unsure which to pick.

He narrowed his choices down to anime only since it was what he was most familiar with but even then there were a lot to choose from.

"Hmm..." Lei's eyes landed on Seven Deadly Sins. This was a world where he wasn't sure he could take on people from later episodes... but he had Hiraishin so he could teleport out if needed.

He thought back and forth about it for some time before finally deciding to pick. He honestly choose it since he felt like it, he could choose other universes afterwards anyway.

Oh! And he wanted to meet Ban's great master, the talking pig: Hawk. It's gonna be an honor to meet such a legendary character. There were also his sidekicks, the seven sins. Time is bound to be interesting with them around.

"System, I choose Seven Deadly Sins. And... send me a few days before the start, near the Boar Hat Bar please"

Lei smiled somewhat excitedly "I'm ready now"

Lei woke up over an open field of grass. The sun brought down beams of light that shined life into the many trees and grass.

"Hnnnha..." Lei stretched like a cat and flopped down to embrace the soft blades of grass.

"Very... cozy" He closed his eyes and found himself fast... asleep.

Lei woke an hour or two later feeling refreshed. This was one of the reason that made this world so wonderful. When he had watched the show, he always admired how the setting just felt so alive, and it was even better now that he experienced it first hand.

Unfortunately, he had to end his rest here.

Lei got up reluctantly. Although sleeping here was comfortably right now, it wouldn't be the same after the sun sets. He may have gotten stronger but he wasn't immune to the cold.

It shouldn't be hard to find a village anyway as the Boar Hat Bar usually stayed near people so Meliodas could gather information on the location of the other sins during early episodes.

But before that...

"Ah... gotta change my clothes" Lei realized he was still wearing his casual ninja attire. As a character perfectionist, he had to fix that. This was set in a fantasy setting so he browsed through the system shop for a fitting set of clothes.

After a few minutes of browsing, Lei ended up with a plain white shirt, an open light blue jacket, matching shorts, white socks and leather boots. The main focus of this set of clothes were the leather that outlined his jacket and shorts.

"Fashion is always... Super fun with my appearance!" Lei laughed and twirled around playfully. The clothing made Lei look like an adventurous kid especially with his smile.

Moving on from his antics, Lei began actively searching for some human settlement.

He walked quite a distance before finally seeing an outline of a village. The sun was gonna set in a few hours so he pushed his chakra into his legs and zoomed towards the village.

Lei immediately noticed that his Universal Energy seemed to be working. Although the magic source of this world worked quite differently, it converted to what he was most familiar with; chakra.

Magic in this world was either hereditary or learned. He wasn't from here so it was only expected that he had no hereditary magic. If he wanted to learn magic, talking to Merlin was the best way but... he wasn't sure if he should as increasing his abilities could get confusing fast. He already had Fuinjutsu so he didn't really need it but he'd learn somethings if it was easy enough.

"Hey kid!" A shout called out to him

Lei looked up and didn't even get to identify the person, noticing that he was about to hit a tough looking wall at a high speed.

He forced forced his legs to stop his momentum. Lei was sure his leg would have been broken had he not had chakra enhancement.

The ground shattered under the force of his forceful deceleration but Lei only felt relieved... his face was only a few inches from meeting the gates of the village.

"Are you ok?!" The man from earlier approached him, gaping at the mess Lei made. The man was middle-aged, armed with a short sword yet is in casual clothes.

Lei turned to him and looked at the concrete.

"Uhh, I'm sorry about that" Lei could only scratch his head apologetically. He was so focused on his thought earlier and actually failed to see where he was going. He would be knocked cold if it weren't for the man's shout so he thanked him.

"I'll fix this for you as an apology..." Lei knew a few basic jutsus of each element so he did the hand signs for a simple earth release jutsu and fixed the concrete.

"That's magic! Don't tell me... are you an apprentice of a holy knight or something!?" The middle-aged man started, amazed at the simple show of jutsu

"I'm just a kid..." Lei said as if everything that just happened didn't happen.

"Yeah right!"

In the end, Lei explained that he needed a place to sleep and was allowed in by the middle-aged man, still believing that he was some apprentice of a powerful knight. Lei could only shake his head at that and move on.
