Two New Members of ROT-K Detective Club!

After deciding on their course of action, Red was looking at his wallet, he wanted to cry yet no tears came out. He realized that he only had 2000$ inside his wallet, yet now he is going to spend 1000$ of it just to solve the problem of this case.

"What's wrong Red?" Vanessa asked when she realized Red was showing a complicated expression.

"Ah? Nothing, nothing!" Red said before he immediately took 1000$ out of his wallet and closing it.

Red though, I think we need start gathering funds for our detective club, it's really hard creating a detective squad especially on its early phase, I expect that this 1000$ is just the beginning.

"Guys, I'm returning to the base. I already completed the case, and guess what? Our employer actually gave us 200$!" James excitingly said through the communicator.

"What?" Red became shock. Red was not shock that their employee gave them 200$, it's only natural that they'll pay them. Instead, he was shock that the case was already completed! He was already preparing to part ways with his 1000$ but he suddenly heard James that he has already completed the case, it only means he used his money right?

"I'll pay you the 1000$ once you return in the base." Red appreciated James action, but he can't accept it. He is the leader of the detective squad after all, so it's his responsibility to fix this type of problem.

"What are you saying? 1000$ is a small amount for me. Didn't you investigated my profile before?" James said through the communicator.

Hearing that, Red suddenly realized the most important thing about his detective squad. All of his members were all rich people! Money is not a problem for them! Even Leo, who only destroyed companies might be hiding one million dollars with him. Red realized that he is the only poor one in his own detective squad.

But, Red still shook his head. Even though he is the only poor one in his group, he still can't make his members pay every time there's a problem related to money. He might consider it this time, but it's absolutely a big no for the second time!

Although he is against it, he still can't hide his happiness. Now he doesn't need to part ways with his 1000$!

"Okay, the club is dismissed today! Let's continue our work tomorrow!" Red said before he took off his communicator and returning it back to Vanessa.

August 10, 2018. Morning.

Inside ROT-K Detective club room. Red yawned while browsing MS Headquarters official website. This was a website only members of MS Detectives know. They post updates of every cases in here, official announcements of MS Headquarters and some other stuffs related to solving mysteries.

Suddenly....

"Red! Two people wants to join our club!" Vladimir yelled while holding two papers.

"Decline them, we don't need any new members right now." Red immediately said. Base on Red's observation, there are no one who's good in solving mysteries in Dream Academy. Well, there are actually a few but they're not really that good in solving mysteries.

"Are you sure?" Vladimir asked.

"Yes I'm sure!" Red replied before he continued scrolling on the MS Headquarters official website.

"But I think you should look at them first." Vladimir said. He didn't wait for Red to reply before putting the two application papers in front of Red and turning around to continue with his own stuff.

Hearing that, Red was suddenly curious. To actually make Vladimir pushed them to him, who might these two be? Red thought before taking the two application papers.

Red looked at the first application paper. He soon realized that it was actually Miya, that fierce girl who cares more about her image than her responsibilities. Thinking about that, Red can't help but to shake his head.

Next, Red took the second application paper. And soon, he realized that it was Jade, the girl who stole 1000$. Red was dumbfounded. Why Vladimir would pushed this two good for nothing to him?

"Go on and continue reading!" Vladimir suddenly said. Red looked at Vladimir for a moment before he continued reading. He started with Miya's application paper first.

"Ohhh, she has actually solve a few cases in Dream Academy before? And she did it elegantly and beautifully, without destroying her image? But because of that she backed out on a lot of cases." Red shook his head after he finished reading Miya's application.

Based on what Red had read, Miya was actually the student council Vice-President of Dream Academy, and she has already solved 23 cases before. 5 of those cases was stealing, 10 were blackmailing, and 8 were corruption, red tapes and illegal stuffs done by school staffs. But despite those, there were actually 37 cases she backed out before, because she cared more about her image than her responsibility. Such flaws of being a detective is something really bad.

"Ohhh, but why didn't she show us her talent when we were solving that case?" Red curiously asked himself. But soon, Red thought of the reason why. She might be testing us out whether we were real or fake.

Red put Miya's application paper on the side before he picked Jade's application paper. After a few minutes, Red showed a smile on his face.

"She was actually behind 37 cases in Dream Academy? 5 Vandalizing, 8 Blackmailing, 3 Destroying school property, 9 selling R-18 pictures of the popular girls of Dream Academy, and 12 selling examination answer key." Red was amazed by the girl.

After reading the two application papers, Red was immediately in deep thought. He can allow Miya to join ROT-K Detective Club, considering her righteousness and her boldness of trying to test the MS Academy for detective number 1 student. But, he needed to fix that attitude of her, caring more about her image than her responsibility, that's a big flaw for a detective.

On the other hand, Red was considering whether to accept Jade. Jade was somewhat the same as Vanessa. They look good outside yet they're actually devils inside. But, Vanessa was already a big problem for Red, and adding another one? He might not have the strength to do that. Aside from that, Jade is more like a bad girl, he might be facing a lot of problems because of her.

Red was weighting the pros and cons. But soon, he realized something. It will not be his responsibility to take care of Jade, but Leo. Since Leo was somewhat in a relationship with Jade, then taking care of her bad girl side will be Leo's responsibility, how much more, Red realized that by accepting Jade, Leo might improve!

Red finally decided!

"Let's accept them!" Red said with a smile while looking at Vladimir.

"I already did!" Vladimir smiled back.
