3 Ch.3 The deal

I walk down the stairs thinking about who is here. No one usually visits. Also my dad made a dinner for them! These people must be important. Maybe it's the towns mayor. No, that wouldn't be it I paid the mayor for all this land last week. Who could it be?! I turn towards the dining room to see my dad and another guy sitting at the table. I walk to the table and sit at the end. The guy looks at me with a grin. He's very handsome, dark black hair, vibrant green eyes, and facial structure that could bring any woman to there knees. My dad clears his throat "Cherry, this is Bryan, he's here to help out on the farm." I choke on my drink out of pure shock. "What?! Why?!" I say in frustration. " I don't need help!" I say angrily. Why didn't he tell me this before hand?!

"Cherry don't go being rude now!" He says "I see how tired you are after working on the farm, and then you go to work right after to help with bills and food" He says. "I'm fine dad, work and the farm keep me busy" I say. "Well he's helping you no matter what!" He says. I sigh knowing I'm never gonna get him to change his mind. " Fine, but only if he sticks to himself and leaves me alone" I say. "O-" "deal" the mysterious man says. "We have a deal" He says with a grin.
