1 Chapter 1: Who are you?

Woken up from the sun again. As I stare at the ceiling I just sigh. ugh first day of school..."hooray" I thought. I headed to the bathroom, washed my face, stared at my reflection. My eyes looked hazel, my hair a medium brown color. If only I could feel...know what love even is. I shook my head what am I thinking? I shouldn't be wishing for emotions. People like me don't win, that's what I've learned, that's what I know. While brushing my teeth, Dad was rushing around the house. Another day for him to be at work all day. I put on my clothes grabbed my bookbag and head for the front door. Obviously dad already left, I walked to school feeling the breeze flow past me. For a moment I wanted to be like the breeze feeling...free. I entered the school had my schedule ready and went to this type of hangout area. I sat down, placed my bookbag beside me and read my book. We already put stuff in our lockers the day before so that we could be prepared early. Some guy sat next to me, he had blonde hair, and gorgeous blue eyes. He was tall I could tell. I ignored him whatsoever. He turned to me "Hi!" he said cheerfully. "I'm Joshua." he also said. I looked up and realized he was close to me. "...hi.." I murmured loud enough for him to hear. "so what's your name..?" he asked. "why do you even want to know???" I rasped. " eh I don't know anyone honestly and you actually reminded me of someone." he told me. " Hm... your doing this out of pity, I don't need your presence to distract me." I said while putting my book away. Joshua looked stunned, but in his eyes I saw that he was not willing to leave me alone. To my saving the bell rang! I picked up my things up followed my schedule and left Joshua. I entered a classroom that was kinda empty all that was in the room were desks, a counter, a teacher's desk, and a white board. I sat in one of the seats in the back of the room. Let's just say I don't like attention. There was also a group of girls in the middle putting unlimited layers of lip gloss. Annoying, they all are I've been through years with these types of girls. Joshua entered the room, just my luck I thought. Once he saw me his face brightened and he raced to an empty seat next to me. A lot of the girls in the middle blushed as he passed and started whispering. A lot of them looked back at me with hostile glares. I knew they were talking about me. I didn't care though, I never do. "Hey.....Hannah!" he greeted me happily. " I never told you my name..!" I said with a stern face.

" Guess you did remind me of someone!" He said while grinning at the same time.

Oh boy! This is going to be a long year...
