White Swordsman 10

Inside the cauldron, there was a light red fluid, with a slight glow.

"This is a lesser healing potion, now hand me those potion bottles."

Li did as told and handed him five small potion bottles.

Qi Yuan used his Qi to lift the light red fluid into the bottles with ease until all five bottles were completely full.

"So now what?" Li asked.

"Now we make another set of healing potions! But this time, we will add one more ingredient"

Li did not like the sound of that, he had a bad feeling as he asked "Uh...what's this extra ingredient?"

Qi Yuan looked at him and smiled, "Your blood of course."

Li sighed while Qi Yuan cleaned the cauldon of any remedies left over by the potion.

The process was repeated once again, Qi Yuan added water and waited for it to boil. Once it began to boil, Li gave the ingredients needed but this time he was much quicker and even handed them before Qi Yuan asked for them, impressing him.

Another lightshow ensued from the cauldron but this time Li wasn't as worried because he was feeling confident in Qi Yuan's skills at making at least a healing potion.

After a while, Qi Yuan finished adding the basic ingredients but he didn't start stirring yet.

"Okay, come here." Qi Yuan asked.

Li reluctantly complied but said "How will this work? Remember, my blood dries up and disappears in steam."

Qi Yuan brought out the twin snake dagger and infused his Qi into it "Yes, but that was when it was left alone. What would happen if your blood was infused with a potion before disappearing?"

"Hold the dagger and cut your palm when I say so, okay?"

Li grabbed the dagger and replied "yea…"

'I can't believe I'm doing this.'

Qi Yuan started to stir the cauldron.

After a minute of stirring, "Okay, Now!"

Li cut his palm and blood began to drip down to the cauldron and Qi Yuan began to stir faster and constantly changed the temperature of his fire.

'Wow, he started working more from my blood?' Li didn't understand the change in tempo from Qi Yuan, who was relaxed just a moment ago.

"Okay, stop pouring your blood!" Qi Yuan demanded suddenly.

Hearing this, Li moved his hand away from the cauldron 'I thought he would have wanted all my blood for his potion.'

*Boom!*

Another small explosion of a darker shade of red exploded from the cauldron, pushing Li back.

"It's done!"

"Just in time, I've healed my injuries." Li commented as he showed his palm to Qi Yuan.

Li walked over and saw a much darker shade of red liquid in the cauldron. He looked over Qi Yuan and saw a shocked expression from him.

"Its...its a medium grade healing potion!"

"Seriously?" Li asked to confirm, though he doesn't understand potion making too much, he could understand that there were probably different ingredients to create a medium grade potion yet they managed to create it with his blood.

"Hand me the bottles."

Li walked over and handed him another five bottles, which were quickly filled by Qi Yuan.

"We need to test the difference between the two healing potions."

"How will we do that? Will you hurt yourself and drink the potion?" Li asked, anticipating Qi Yuan hurting himself.

Qi Yuan chuckled, "Of course not. Though from a glance, the potion is a medium grade, It still might have weird effects."

He beckoned Li to follow him outside the cave and then grabbed Li, lifting him up in a princess carry pose and jumped off the cliff.

"AHHHHH" Li couldn't help but scream from the sudden actions of Qi Yuan. It was already uncomfortable to be around his arms but now they suddenly jumped off the cliff.

The two crashed down to the forest but Qi Yuan crashed onto the ground with no injuries at all.

He dropped Li.

*bang*

"Ow! Couldn't you have let me down easier?" Li complained.

Qi Yuan chuckled and moved forward while Li was getting up.

Seeing his back, Li began to ponder 'We are out of that cave...should I run? His back is towards me right now...no...there's no point, he'll catch me.' After a few seconds of thinking, Li decided against it. He decided to follow QI Yuan.

"So, what's the plan?" Li asked as they walked down the forest.

"The plan is to find a test subject to hurt and give the potion too. Preferably a boar or something. A wolf would work too."

*rustle*

*rustle*

Li became alert as he heard something in the bush, right off him.

"It's a squirrel, don't be all scared haha." Qi Yuan teased as he continued walking, causing Li to feel a bit embarrassed from his readiness as he saw an actual squirrel come out the bush moments later, looking at him cutely.

They continued their walk but soon stopped as they saw a wolf!

However, this wolf looked quite different from a normal one. Its whole fur was bright yellow, every strand was standing up, making it look like a porcupine. It had dark blue crystal-like eyes as it glared at Qi Yuan and Li with caution. Looking closely, they could see sudden jolts of electricity coursing through the wolf's fur.

"Oh! A lightning wolf, we got lucky." Qi Yuan commented.

"So, what now?" Li asked calmly. He wasn't afraid of this creature because he felt it wasn't that strong to pose a threat to his life. Currently, Li began to judge the strength of others and based it off whether they are stronger or weaker to Flav since that was the strongest opponent that attacked him so far. To him, if he felt they were weaker than Flav, they would have no chance to actually kill him.

"Go capture it."

"Grr.." Electricity started to jolt more often across the wolf's fur, clearly it was getting ready to fight. To him, he felt barely any Qi resonating from Li and no Qi at all from Qi Yuan so he felt they were easy prey.

"Why would I capture it! You're the teacher here" Li interjected.

"Yea, this is my first lesson to you. You'll eventually fight creatures like this in the Academy, I'm just giving you a head start. You should be grateful, use the dagger." Qi Yuan passed the twin snake dagger and shoved Li towards the wolf.

Electricity covered the wolf's entire body as his hair jolted up further and his blue eyes began to glow.

"It's only a teenager, I would say it's about a peak rank 1 beast. Your fortunate to meeting a teenager, an adult lightning wolf would be a tier 3."

Li grasped the dagger tightly as he cursed a million times at Qi Yuan in his mind "Thanks for the advice oh great teacher!"
