Chapter 7- The Debut

Edora's POV

This is our big day, 18 na kami ni Isha. Kagigising ko lang and I decided to call my other friends at the States.

(Calling Stella, Angela, Czarina)

"Hey Girls!"I said and smiled at them.

"Hey Edora! Oh, you're not with Isha? Can you call her?" Angela said. Fav nya kasi si Isha parehas silang shopaholic.

"Okay, wait a minute" I said.

"YAYA! PAKITAWAG SI ISHA DITO SA KWARTO KO"  I said and wait for Isha.

Nung dumating na si Isha.

"Hi Angela, Hi Stella, Hi Cza!" Isha said and smiled.

"Hi Isha and Edora, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Sabi nilang tatlo.

"Thanks, but would you guys come to the party later?" I ask.

"I can't Edora, I'm sorry. I am so busy right now. Dad will just go there later and give my gift to you" Angela said sadly.

I just smiled bitterly and said, "Nah, it's okay right Isha?" I asked Isha and she also smiled bitterly.

"It's okay, how 'bout you Cza and Stella?" Isha asked.

"We can't, we still have a project to do. Cza and I are partners. I'm sorry but our parents will be there also." Stella said.

"We are very sorry. I have to go na bye loveyou sisters!" Czarina said.

"Me too! I have to go I love you twins happy birthday again!" Sabi naman ni Stella at Angela and they hang the call.

Nagtinginan kmi ni Isha, we both sad kasi our friends will not going to our big day. 

5 pm pa naman ang party and sabi nila di daw muna kami pwede bumaba coz inaayos pa. 11 am palang nmn so matutulog muna kami ni Isha dito sa room ko.

After 5 hours, I heard yaya waking us up

"Gumising na po kayo, 3 pm na po magaayos na po kayo. Andito napo ung mga makeup artist niyo" She said at umalis sa kwarto.

Bumalik na si Isha sa kwarto nya which is sa katabi nang kwarto ko.

Naligo na ko and my makeup artist started na.

My gown is color light pink na medyo beige and also my heels and naka messy bun ako but it looks gorgeous parin naman.

Change of plans daw na imbes parehas kami ni Isha pinalitan nya yung sakanya its okay for me naman.

Isha's clothes are almost the same color of my gown but mas lighter sa kanya and messy bun din.

We have same makeup and almost same hair na din. Our maids allow us to go downstairs na para makita yung theme.

So nagstart na yung party but cocktail party muna nagpakita na kami sa mga tao but mga close muna ang kinausap namin while nakikipagusap kami kay tito he said na wala daw sila Kyle and Kalib eh diba sila yung escorts namin.

"Edora, Isha we have a problem. My sons Kalib and Kyle can't come tonight, it means wala kayong escorts. Kalib is sick and Kyle is busy with his study. San tayo hahanap nang Escorts nyo?" Tito said while panicking.

"May problema ba mga iha?" Tita Reiel said. (Close nila mom and dad)

"Ah tita kase our escorts can't come" Isha said. Tita just smiled.

"Wait, Diel and Niel come here" Tita said and a twin boy came up.

"Ahm Edora and Isha meet my sons. Gaddiel Adonis Gennady and Hanniel Apollo Gennady, you can call them Diel and Niel." Tita introduce us to them.

"Ah hi? Ah Tita can we talk about it later may problem pa kami." Isha said.

"Kaya koo nga sila ipinakilala sa inyo because I want them to be your escorts for tonight." Tita said and smiled.

"Yah that right tara na sa may hagdan tatawagin na tayo ni Tito mayamaya." I said at umakyat na kaming apat.

After 20 minutes.

Tito Kalix is our MC so sya yung magpapakilala saamin. Ang kapartner ko is si Adonis and yung partner ni Isha is si Apollo. Magkabilang hagdan kami and just waiting for tito to speak.

"A very good evening to each and everyone and welcome Medora and Meisha's 18th Bithday Party. We would like to thank everyone for gracing this very momentous occasion because as they say you only get to be 18 once. Tonight calls for a grand celebration and it is our distinct pleasure to introduce to you for the very first time the reason why we are all gathered here tonight ladies and gentlemen. So without further ado let us all rise and give a warm round of applause would you please welcome our lovely debutantes Medora Aphrodite Darian and Meisha Adiahera Darian." Tito said kaya naman hinawakan na ni Adonis ang kamay ko at inalalayan pababa. Sa kabilang hagdan naman ay si Apollo ang gumagawa kay Isha non. Bumaba na kami and umalis na sila Adonis at Apollo.

"Such a spectacular grand entrance by our lovely debutantes,I would say. And now to give a speech and a toast in honor of our beautiful debutantes we would like to ask Ms. Medora and Ms. Meisha on the stage."

"Hello everyone! we'd just like to say a massive thank you to you all for coming today. It's great to see everybody and I hope you're all having a good time.

Well, I'll keep it short and sweet.

I'd like to thank my parents for everything they've done for me, not just for today, but throughout my life even though they are not here.

Thanks to all my aunts and uncles for helping today with all the food and decorations.

I hope you can all be here when we celebrate my 30th."  Isha and I said while smiling.

After our speech ay nagdinner na kami habang kumakain ay tinawag kami nila tito for our 18 candles, 18 roses ganun.

" While some of you are still feasting on the delicious buffet and the decadent dessert. We will now continue with our program.

The 18 roses signify the debutantes coming of age. We have now some to the part of our program that the guys have been waiting for. A chance to hold the hand of our lovely debutante for a short dance. So let us not keep them waiting. Ladies and gentlemen the 18 roses with our beautiful debutantes." Tito said kaya pumunta na kami sa gitna at hinintay kung sino ang magbibigay nang rose saamin. Halos di namin kilala ang nasa 18 roses dahil halos mga pinsan namin na ngayon lang namin  nakita ang kabilang sa 18 roses. 

Pang 17 roses na and then ang lumapit ay sila Adonis at Apollo.

"You look so beautiful Edora" He said and I just smiled. Kinuwento ko sa kanya na sana si Daddy and last dance namin but sadly he won't come.

Nagulat nalang ako nang may nagabot saming dalawa ni Isha nang rose.And there we saw our father, asking us for a dance.

Tatlo kaming sumasayaw sa gitna, mangiyak ngiyak kami ni Isha dahil akala namin di na sya pupunta.

"Hi sweeties! You look so beautiful tonight" Dad said.

"We missed you dad, we thought you wouldn't come" We hugged him both.

"Hey sweeties don't cry na. Daddy's here and why wouldn't I come to your big day?" Dad said.

After the last dance nagstart nadin kami sa 18 candles/ treasure.

"What a wonderful moment for a Father and His Daughters. Now let's proceed to the 18 treasure gifts signify the 18 person that she will treasure and this gifts will be her inspiration and armor in her journey towards fulfilling her dreams. Ladies and gentlemen the 18 gifts and the 18 candles.You can also give our debutantes a message"

And again di ulit namin kilala kung sino yung mga nagabot.Pang 15 candles/gifts na and si Mom ang nagbigay nang gift namin and we hug her.

"Hi sweeties! I still remember those times when I'm not still pregnant, Kayo yung pinagdasal namin nang daddy nyo dahil nga hindi ako mabuntis buntis noon, and now look 18 yrs old na kayo. You are the blessings that God gave to us and just like yesterday, you are two are 18 already and I cannot contain myself. I pray that good things come to you as you two came to me. Happy Birthday My Miracle Twins. I wish that you find a miracle as you turn 18 today that will last you, your lifetime. Iloveyou both!" Mom said while crying we just hugged her and we didn't expect who are the 3 candles/gifts left.

It was Angela, Stella and Czarina!

"Hey sistah! You didn't expect this right?" Czarina said we just hugged each other , they gave their gifts and give a message to us.

"Hey twins! You both didn't expect us to come right? Well it was my idea haha. I couldn't imagine growing up  with a better friend; you know just what to say to bring my spirits up. Good times or bad, you're always there. Wishing you a beautiful day and happy eighteenth." Stella said.

"Good friends are hard to come by, lifelong friends are even harder. This friendship is forever whether it's your 18th birthday or 100th, we'll always be together. Happy birthday twins" Angela said.

"Great friends are hard to come by, and you two are one of the best. Congrats on reaching your first official birthday as an adult." Czarina said and we all hugged.

It is time for my I and Isha give a message for each other.

"Bestfriends since birth. We shared a crib, sandbox, crayons and everything else. Eighteen years together and I hope for at least another 18 more. Happy Birthday to us Sissy!" I said.

"During this special day with you. We can celebrate our childhood, embrace our adulthood and live our life to its full potential together. Wish us, to be together now and forever. Happy Birthday to us!" Isha said and we hugged each other.

"Happy birthday song. Happy Birthday Twins. Let us give 18 claps for the twins.. Thank you very much.You can now blow your 18 candles and make a wish. It is now time to cut the cake. As the twins has reached the age of maturity they will now cut the cake and give a portion to her parents as a symbol of their love and gratefulness to them." Tito said and we sliced the cake and gave it to our parents.

"And now, you bought their swim ware's?, Dahil magkakaroon tayo nang pool party. Change your outfits now and enjoy the whole night. I am Kalix Darian, your host signing off. Thank you" Tito said at lahat ay nagpalit na nang pang swim wear.
