5 The Battle Begins

With the Alliance between the two Gilgamesh was ready to kill some people and take their cheats. With his strength it should be like taking candy from a baby. While waiting for the battle to begin he stuffed him self with some of the food in the waiting room, which mostly consisted of cake, cookies, and lemon water. As he was stuffing himself a thought occurred to him.

"Hey, Natsu, you've killed someone before right?"

"Of course not. Killing people is illegal and I have not been born in the Naruto world so how could I have the chance to kill someone yet?"

"True, though it is best that you prepare yourself, after all we will be killing the others.

After about 10 minutes there were now 10 people in the room, which meant that 2 of them did not join the fight.

"Damn, if those two are Uchihas I swear I am going to kill them."

"Don't bother, if I am right those two should be the Hyugas. Anyways It doesn't even matter, them not being here just means their less danger. I am just going to say this, if their is a logia fruit user it's all yours, if not, it's up to who can kill them first."

"Good, though don't expect to get to many kills, I am the protagonist of this story after all." Said Natsu with a smug look of pride on his face.

"Okay, whatever. Looks like it's about to begin." Gilgamesh replied while thinking 'Those who say that they are the protagonist are usually just some cannon fodder that will die withing a few chapters.'

[Greetings to you 10 participants. The Battle will begin in 5 minutes, in this time I will tell you about the battleground you will be fighting in. The battleground this time is a real world that is currently undergoing the zombie apocalypse. As it is a real world there will be other dangers and the people in the other world will be living instead of holograms or temporary objects. The map you will be giving is a medium size city in china, there is a zombie count of 100,000 with 29 survivors located all around the city. Killing zombies or survivors is allowed and you might gain extra benefits by killing them. The city will be surrounded in a blue veil which will tell you where the map ends for you. Only participants can see this veil and if you step out of it for longer than 10 seconds you will die.]

[There will also be missions that you can accept throughout the Battle that you can accept, these missions can vary from killing 3 participants with a head shot or from extreme difficulty such as winning the battle with your eyes closed and using no cheats. You are not required to complete these missions but completing them comes with a generous reward.]

[Lastly there will also be a predator, this predator is introduced into the battle to keep participants fighting so that they don't decide to keep a permanent residence. The predator this time is a zombie who has reached its 6th evolution, to put it into simple terms, it has the strength of 5 Madaras. The predator will hunt the participants closet to it, if you kill the predator you get a Mythical Ranked Item and cheats from all the participants that the predator killed. In the case that the predator is killed a higher level predator will be sent out 48 hours after the previous ones death, the next predator will also be sent into an hour long blood lust status where it will hunt participants much faster and without rest. If you die to the predator you will not lose your cheat unless someone kills the predator.]

When the voice mentioned that they predator had the strength of 5 Madaras everyone let out a gasp, forget 5 Madaras, even if they allied together they would not even be able to kill 1 Madara.

'This will be tricky, to ensure our survival we have to kill as quickly as possible so that we can get out as quick as we can, but at the same time the more we kill the quicker the predator will set is eyes on us. Killing the predator is practically impossible and even if we did that just means that we buy a little bit of time. Our enemies will also be free to move around without worrying about the predators for 48 hours, but after 48 hours we will be in even more danger than before. The best option is to kill the predator then settle the battle before the next one comes, but to do that we would need all the participants to gather together so that we could kill them.'

After carefully thinking it over Gilgamesh decided that he would leave the predator alone, and use it to kill the other participants then come up with some way to kill the predator after. Considering the voice said a stronger one would come after the first one died it meant that there would be a possibility of killing it.

"Oi, are you thinking what I am thinking?" Natsu said whiling taping his shoulder.

"That would depend on what you're thinking now wouldn't it." Gilgamesh replied with a apathetic tone, to be honest he would rather not be having the same thoughts as this overly narcissistic guy.

"Kill the predator then use the stronger one to kill all the other weaklings then kill it off again. That way we would be able to get 2 special rewards for killing the predator and all the abilities from the participants that the predator killed." He said with a smug look as if he came up with a brilliant plan.

"That would be a no then."

"A no?" Natsu had a confused look on his face.

"Yes, a no, I am not having the same idiotic thoughts as you are." Gilgamesh spoke as he cast a look of disdain at Natsu. "I don't even know where to begin on what is wrong with your plan, just leave the brains of the operation to me, because it seems you are lacking one." As he was about to turn around and ignore him again he thought of something as looked at him one last time before saying "Mongrel" and turning around leaving Natsu with a shocked face.
