Chapter 4: Getting to know Each Other.

Like a wave, everyone quickly connected.

[System]: [White Eyes] has connected.

[System]: [Moon Dregs]: has connected.

[System]: [Prince of Fire]: has connected.

As everyone joined and viewed the Quest, their reactions varied.

[White Eyes]: At least I didn't have to wait around all day.

[Moon Dregs]: I just woke up, can someone explain what is happening?

Shinsuke the normal one, Junpei the sleepy one, and [Prince of Fire] the uncomfortable one who didn't say anything, the perfect team to adventure into a different world with…

'You got to be kidding me.' I was suddenly feeling a lot more relived knowing our quest was a freebie.

[Megalomaniac]: I'm going to click the button, I'll meet you all there.

~~~

Sending the message, I hit the [Click Here to Join] button, as it was too obvious to miss, and as I did, I suddenly found my self in a different room, as unlike during my travel to Shinsuke's world, I had found myself instantly transported.

A single four-sided table sat in the center of the room with ordinary chair's on each end, the floor, walls, and ceiling were all the same weird material, and all parts of the room lacked any type of exit including windows.

'It seems I'll have to wait for them.', I was the first person here, and I could hear the notifications from the group chat, but I decided to ignore them, If they wanted to complain, they would have to say it to my face.

But it seemed like I wouldn't have to wait forever, as Shinsuke appeared across the table from me.

"It seems you made it."

Shinsuke said, not bothering to greet me as we saw each other what felt like only a few moments ago.

"Glad to see you too."

I quipped back as Junpei suddenly appeared towards my left.

"Oh Junpei, nice to meet you."

I greeted, but it seemed he was surprised at the sudden changed of surroundings.

"Oh, uh it's nice to meet you too, uh, who are you exactly?"

Junpei greeted back, but was confused on who I was, as we had yet to meet in person.

"I'm Chara, he's Shinsuke."

I said as I pointed over the table towards Shinsuke.

"Oh I see, but how did you know I was Junpei."

Junpei asked curiously making small talk.

"I don't think the person with the nickname Prince of Fire would be wearing sneakers."

I jokingly said, seeming to get a chuckle out of Junpei, but Shinsuke seemed to be confused on what a 'Sneaker' was.

"What the?!"

Hearing a sudden shout, I turned around to finally see Prince of Fire, who to my surprise was Zuko from ATLA.

"Uh, ahem, greetings, I'm Zuko, it's nice to meet you all."

Zuko said with his best poker face, but it was quite obvious he was embarrassed by his sudden shout.

'It seems things are getting more interesting.'

"Ahem, since everyone is here we can now begin, but since it would take too long for everyone's own introduction, I'll do it myself since I'm knowledgeable about everyone here."

Gathering everyone attention, It was finally time to start the meeting.

"Any questions before I start?"

I asked, as it would be annoying to be constantly interrupted.

"You said you were knowledgeable on all of us, even though this is our first time meeting."

Zuko asked skeptically, he had only exchanged two messages between the other members of the group, so how could he possibly be knowledgeable on him?

"It's true this is our first meeting, but as I was the first person to join the group, I gained the special perk to view Information about each member and their world."

I said giving the same excuse as I did to Shinsuke when he asked a similar question as Zuko.

"I see, I didn't know."

"It's fine, does anyone else have any questions… No?, alright, I'll start with my own introduction.

"My name is Chara, I'm Seventeen, I'm from the same world as Junpei."

I had told them I'm from Junpei's world as it was practically identical to my old world, except for the curses, and I was too lazy to explain what Purgatory was to them, a white lie wouldn't hurt.

"Chara if I may ask what is your surname?"

Junpei questioned, it made sense as almost everyone had a surname in his world.

"It's… Dreemurr."

I originally wasn't planning on having any surname, let alone Chara's own.

(A:N Orvar told me it was weird for MC not to have a surname, and apparently Chara's own surname is an anagram of 'Murderer' which I thought was cool.'

"To my left is Junpei Yoshino, he is the same age as me, and his special talent is his High Cursed Energy, making it, so he can see Cursed Spirits."

Junpei was surprised on how much I knew, he didn't know the contents of the information, but it seemed quite lengthy.

"Is that all correct?"

"Uh, yeah, I was just surprised on how much you knew."

Junpei responded slightly embarrassed.

"Alright, I'll continue, like I mentioned, those 'cursed spirits' are beings manifested from cursed energy as a result of the negative emotions that flow out of humans. They bring harm to humanity and are consequently the primary targets of jujutsu sorcerers."

I said finishing my explanation of cursed spirits.

"What is a jujutsu sorcerer?"

Junpei asked curiously, up until this moment he only referred to cursed spirits as ghosts, but to know they could actually cause harm to others was surprising.

"Good question, jujutsu sorcerers are individuals trained and employed by the two jujutsu educational schools in Japan to defend humanity from cursed spirits, and sorcerers who use this power for evil, which are called curse users, both can use the cursed energy in their own body that power their jujutsu."

I explained answering Junpei's question.

"Does this mean I could learn jujutsu?"

Junpei asked somewhat excitedly, learning the secrets of his world got his blood-pumping.

"Yes, I highly recommend you do, I recommend Tokyo Jujutsu High, it doesn't cost anything to join, and you do get a free dorm room."

"I see, Tokyo is quite far, but perhaps I could exchange some points for some pocket money."

Junpei noted down, making some good use of the exchange feature of the system.

"Do you guys have any questions."

I asked directing my attention back to Zuko and Shinsuke.

"No, though it was very interesting to hear about."

Shinsuke replied, with Zuko seeming to agree with a nod of his head.

"Alright, I'll let Shinsuke introduce himself, since I wouldn't want to reveal anything that he didn't want to."

I said giving Shinsuke the spotlight, I totally didn't do this because I had little to no information on him, not at all…

"I'm Shinsuke Hyuga, I'm a Chunin from Konohagakure, and a member of the Noble Hyuga Clan, I'm seventeen and turn eight-teen next winter, my abilities include many ninja techniques, along with my most prominent feature my Byakugan, with it, I can see a near-360º field of vision around myself, along with seeing through walls, and can see anything within 300 meters of myself, it's also the reason my eyes are white."

Shinsuke explained pointing towards his eyes at the very end of his explanation.

"I see good, now it's Zuko's turn. Zuko is a fireb-"

"Can I give my own introduction please?"

Zuko said interrupting.

"No, you'd be biased."

But Zuko could not refute my claim, and stayed silent.

"Anyway, Zuko is a firebending master, born as a prince in the Fire Nation Royal Family, after his banishment from the Fire Nation, Zuko devoted three years to trying to capture the long-lost Avatar to end his banishment and regain his honor as Crown Prince of the Fire Natio-"

"And, I swear I'll find the Avatar, and reclaim my honor!"

Zuko suddenly shouted, interrupting the last part of the explanation

"Well, I would wish you luck if I knew what an Avatar was."

Shinsuke responded, he hadn't expected this mop headed person to be so important.

"The Avatar is the human embodiment of light and peace through the connection with the Avatar Spirit. As the only physical being with the ability to bend all four elements, it is considered the Avatar's duty to master the four bending arts and use that power to keep balance and peace among the world."

I explained to Shinsuke, who seemed to be wishing a similar entity to exist in his world.

But a sudden realization hit Shinsuke…, "Isn't Zuko the bad guy then?"

"What no! I'm you are just merely misunderstandin-"

But a sudden notification had interrupted Zuko's complaining.

[System]: Quest Mission has been completed, sending rewards.

My Thoughts.

On a recommendation from Orvar, I have given MC a surname, the same as Chara's as it would feel weird if it was something else, I also had to delay writing today as I was super busy, so, sorry about the late release.
