6 Qlipoth Zone

Kazuma started running away from there. Anywhere but there would be best, he thought. However, those thoughts of him were immediately betrayed by the reality he saw the moment he managed to get out of the Shibuya station. The moment he step out, the Shibuya that should be populated and busy is no longer the same. The buildings seem abandoned, the roads are littered with trash and filled with cracks, lamposts have been bent to a certain degree while some are broken and are now being used as homes the spiders, and the cars that should be running on the streets are either left abandoned on the side of the road or crashed into a nearby establishment.

"What is going on here?!"

Kazuma never felt so confused in his entire life. This is not something he has no idea what is happening and it's more like a nightmare he usually gets during stressful days.

"Yes! That's it!" Kazuma snaps his finger as if he just realized something genius.

He started pinching his cheeks and his arm until it hurts enough that he has to scream in pain. He thought that once he does that, he will wake up from the nightmare he was currently in. Yes. That would naturally work. It's natural he will be receiving a nightmare all of a sudden as he closed his eyes while he was at the station and it is clear he has fallen asleep as well. This should do the trick!

Except that he wasn't even experiencing a nightmare. Even the pain lingering on his cheek and arm that he pinched hard enough didn't help with the current predicament he was currently in. The same scenery he saw earlier is still the same scenery he is now seeing.

Due to this, he started to run away and look for anyone else who is in there. Anyone, someone, whoever they are, as long as they are not the same people who were with him on the train.

But soon enough, he runs out of breath and he has to stop running. He wasn't sure where he was at first but he regained his hope when he saw a few people who seemed to be walking in his direction.

Seeing this, he started to walk as well towards them, hoping he can ask for help. But that hope turned into fear as he realized that the "people" who were walking towards him were not really what you call "people" in the first place.

"Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t!" Kazuma started running once more. He should have been tired but his tiredness disappeared altogether and he continues to run.

Kazuma tried to turn into a corner but soon found out a few of them were also there, so he had to change direction and run away once more.

"Oh, that's right," Kazuma thought of something and pulled out his phone to call but the moment he looked at the network, he wanted to curse so badly seeing how he does not receive any signal.

"F*ck, just as I needed to call someone, the network is not even working! Damn!"

Since this was not even worth it, he just shoved back his phone and continue to run. Before, the "people" were not in sight when he reached the empty Shibuya. But now, all of them are all over the place, and with every twist and turn he did all around, they are all over the place.

For the first time in Kazuma's life, this is the longest time he managed to run this far and this long. Even though his legs felt like a noodle after running for so long, Kazuma continues to run.

But even then, it seems that he is not going to be allowed to escape by this entity at all. Soon enough, he was surrounded by them and their stares are more than enough for Kazuma to feel the danger.

Then Kazuma remembers the new things he learned. He might have learned it, but he needed it. He doesn't have any choice anymore.

"Screw this sh*t! Even if you are human or not, then I apologize but I needed to get out of here!"

Kazuma ignites his hands in flames and started hurling them at the incoming enemies. As soon as the flames of his touched them, they started screaming in pain and burning before reducing themselves to dust. But seeing how the other monsters seem to have gotten hesitant to approach, Kazuma knew that he is doing something good. And so, he started blasting.

"Damn, I didn't expect this to be useful this much," Kazuma gained back his confidence as he started firing fireballs at the "people" swarming toward him.

He starts getting the hang of firing the fireball but it didn't take long before he suddenly felt a heavy feeling in his body. It's like he was carrying a half sack of sand before but it slowly gets heavier as he fires more fireballs at the "people".

Kazuma does manage to clear out a few groups of those "people" but that doesn't mean he cleared out all of them. He was still not able to burn every single one of them.

Soon enough, the heaviness that Kazuma felt on his body had never been this bad before but now, he can feel the struggle to even move. Even firing fireballs seems to become a little chore as well.

"W-what is happening?!" Kazuma tried his best to stand back up but his legs is like lead now.

It didn't take long for the "people" to slowly gather and surround him once more. Because Kazuma can't stand back up and can't even fire off another fireball, the only thing he can do is stare at his impending doom.

"Hmm? Another human? How come, someone, is here other than me?"

BANG!

The "people" trying to swarm him over stopped moving and looked in the direction of the noise. Kazuma tried to look in the direction of the sound with much difficulty.

"I made sure that there should be no one else that will be dragged into this mess as this is a pretty annoying f*cker but it seems my plan was flawed seeing someone else is here."

Someone is speaking but because he can barely move, Kazuma doesn't know who this person was other than he was a male and seems to be someone with quite a hunk body.

"Huh? Wait a minute... A Malkuth Level 1? How come you are here? And to think you are also suffering from a Mana Deficiency, it seems you are just starting out barely. But to survive at a Qlipoth Gomaliel level, you must have so much luck in your hands to be able to survive this long. You are lucky that I am here to save your bacon or else, you will become part of this place soon as well."

Kazuma couldn't say anything as the pain and fatigue started to take a toll on him. Soon enough, his consciousness drifted away.

...

...

...

The man who is clearing the "people" currently gathering looked back at the unconscious Kazuma and chuckled.

"A Malkuth trainee that barely has any experience in Qlipoth Suppression and yet, he is already dealing with a Gomaliel-level threat. That is just something I have not seen for so long."

His hands begin to crackle with electricity as more of the "people" are currently approaching. Most of them are drawn to the unconscious Kazuma.

"This is the first time I am seeing Qlipoth casually ignore someone else in favor of another person. It's a bit concerning as well but seeing that this trouble is almost done, I might as well report that phenomenon to the higher-ups. For now, I will have to secure his safety. Even if he is a magician, it's best to have him be saved. Perhaps he still didn't know the rules or the Qlipoth might have manipulated his location which resulted in him arriving here in this place. For now, let's clean this place up and restore things once I am done."

The young man grinned and started punching and destroying the surroundings as he smash his way to the situation. With a Gomaliel-level Qlipoth suddenly appearing in the middle of the day and currently in a public place, it seems things are changing and the young man knows about it.
