1 Love And Hate

A hot and fiery kiss landed on Xyrin Zhang's lips.

And it was not an ordinary kiss.

It was a punishment for chasing Liam for the past ten years and for everything else that she did tonight.

From the very beginning, she did everything to be acknowledged and loved by Liam Alexander Xia.

But everything was in vain.

Today is her 16th birthday.

That's why she did everything to get his attention.

The party was held at their mansion.

And it was not just a simple occasion but a grand celebration.

Almost all influential families and personalities gathered to celebrate the birthday of the only heiress  of Zhang family, including celebrities, politicians, and businessmen.

And of course, the Xia family is present.

Their family has been friends and business partners for centuries and whenever there's an occasion like this, their families would bring them and ask Liam to accompany Xyrin.

They were even sent at the same school.

Liam is the greatest man she has ever known.

Whether his intellect or his looks, nobody could ever be compared to him.

He is indeed perfect.

And in her eyes, he is beyond perfection.

That's why she is so persistent to make him hers, no matter what.

At the last part of the party, she was given the chance to thank everyone.

And she did.

But that's not all.

With her sweetest smile, she faced the crowd, eyes locked on his, and said confidently...

"Anyway, I have one more thing that I'd like to say tonight."

She stopped for a while, gaining the attention of everyone.

And continued...

"Liam Alexander Xia and I got engaged last week. It might be a surprise for everyone, including our families but we are hoping that all of you will accept and support our love for each other."

Suddenly, there was an eerie silence.

But after awhile, it was replaced by applause and cheers from the audience.

Even their families are surprised but they were happy about it.

They never asked them to be together, but they are hoping that they'll be.

Besides, who else could be a better match than them?

They are both known in the society and they are both part of influential families.

The women who are present were not happy.

They are also from well-known families and they are all hoping that Liam will be theirs.

But at this point, it seems like they have lost the chance to be with him.

Xyrin continued...

"Liam, remember that in this life and forever, you will be my one and only. I will cherish you the most and will stay by your side no matter what. I love you so much."

She handed the microphone to the host and walked towards Liam.

When she reached his place, she carefully and elegantly  bowed and kissed him on his lips.

But this time, it's different...

He is the one who's kissing her.

It wasn't gentle at all.

It was harsh and painful.

Right after the party, he dragged her towards her room.  The moment they entered, he locked the door, and pushed her on the bed.

After a while he stopped.

"What were you thinking? Do you really think that I will love you after what you did? Remember this! I WILL NEVER LOVE YOU!"

After that, he left.

Her face turned pale.

It was her first time seeing him furious and disgusted.

And all his disappointment and anger are directed towards her.

After realizing everything that happened, she started crying.

Her lips are numb.

But most of all, her heart is broken and there's no way to ease the pain.

As tears burst uncontrollably, she realized how foolish she had become because of him.

She realized how foolish she is for loving Liam Alexander Xia, a heartless man she has ever met.
