1 chasing the stars

Chapter 1

Up in a cave hidden from view near jade mountain a small black dragonet with strange silver scales in swirling patterns wakes up and stares at the dragon beside him, his mother. She raises her her and looks at him with loving eyes "Starchaser you need to rest while you can so you'll have enough energy for the flight back home" "but mama i'm not tired!" Starchaser says as he dramatically rolls over and spreads his wings out on the floor."I know honey, but we cant have anyone see you or they'll take just like your father." Wishmaker said with a look of sadness and regret."humph" Starchaser gets up and stomps across the cave to look outside. He looks outside in curiosity "mama, what was papa like?" Wishmaker struggles to find a response. "Your father was one of the greatest dragon's iv'e ever known.""he was brave, caring and very handsome". Starchaser starts to giggle uncontrollably "He sounds cool!" Starchaser and his mother eventually fell back to sleep gazing at the stars.

(2 days later) (they have started their journey to the home starchaser has never known or seen. currently they are at the marketplace in the scorpions den)

"mama! mama look at me!" Starchaser says as he struggles to lift a melon half the size of him. As his mother is walking over to help him Starchaser trips and the melon gets tossed in the air ,and is headed straight toward a grumpy looking Sandwing selling jewlery."No!" starchaser shouts and without thinking turns the melon into a bag of feathers. The Sandwing gives a startled expression as he watches the melon transform and land on his jewelry display."Starchaser run!" Wishmaker shouts as everyone in the marketplace turns and stares at the dragonet. Star chaser takes off faster than imaginable. He ducks under reaching talons and is followed shortly by several dragons, as he is running Starchaser looks over his shoulder and sees the stumbles into an ally and is backed up against the wall by the dragons of the Starchaser feels a sharp pain in his neck and sees a dart stuck in it. His sight starts to fade as he sees a mysterious dragon drop from a roof and kill the rest of the dragons in the ally."Who are you?"starchaser says as he blacks out.
