8 Bloodshed

Suna ended the call and waited a few steps from where Killua and Gon played with her grandfather. She was walking and a man with his friend bumped into her.

"Oh dear. And you won't say sorry?"

Suna looked at them and they just ignored her. 'Mean fools, perhaps I'll curse them' Suna thought and looked at the two. 'Oh forget it' She changed her mind.

A few minutes later she felt bloodlust, and it was a familiar one. Suna walked closer and saw Killua with blood on his hands and the two applicants who bumped into her fell lifeless on the ground. Suna was worried. Not for the dead guys she saw, but for Killua who's eyes look so dull.

"Honey! Oh goodness, are you okay? You made a mess!"

Suna said and ran to where Killua is. She pulled out a handkerchief from her shoulder bag and wiped the blood dripping from Killua's hands.

"What are you doing?"

He asked still stunned of what Suna did. Instead of answering Suna just walked a few steps pass him and activated one of her abilities. Book of Twilight : Hidden Document. Before Killua could see what Suna is doing, a flash of light was all it took and the bodies and blood were all gone.

"What did you do?"

Killua asked, stunned of what he saw because all he remembers is he just killed two persons and now they're gone without a trace. Suna faced him and hid the book with a page exactly like the bloody scene that just happened, before it disappeared into thin air.

"You're so messy Killua honey, and you're not the only one with a secret sweetie"

She grinned at Killua and held his bloody hand, pulling him with her as she walked.

"What exactly happened there Kil? Why are you so mad love?"

Suna asked concerned as to what happened. She brought him inside a room with a few participants sleeping and sat beside him.

"Tch. You'd laugh if I tell you"

"No dear, why would I laugh at you?"

Suna said reassuring Killua. He heaved sigh and started telling her all about what happened. Suna puffed her cheeks.

"Grandfather bullied you! Now I'm upset, I'll talk to him now. He must be bullying Gon too-"

She was about to storm off to where Netero and Gon is when Killua held her hand.

"Forget it. I'll get back at him on my own."

"Then what do you suppose I do?"

Suna asked. Killua pulled her and made Suna sit beside him. He leaned on Suna's shoulder.

"This is enough"

He said. Killua felt comfortable because of Suna's milky scent. Suna's cheeks burned as she hid a giggle to let Killua rest.

"Rest well my dear, we have an exam to finish"

Suna muttered and brushed Killua's hair while she activated one of her abilities again. Book of Melodies : Angel's Cradle, then only in Killua's ears he heard soft singing and was put into light sleep.

"Gon! You look tired dear!"

Suna said seeing how Gon looked like. Gon just grinned and scratched his head. Killua just stood beside Suna while waiting for a few minutes. Finally they reached their destination for the third phase of the exam. The Trick Tower. Bean explained in front of the applicants.

"Everyone, the exam's Third Phase will begin here, at the top of Trick Tower."

"Trick Tower?" Leorio asked.

Suna giggled answered "Yes dear"

Bean continued "To pass this phase, you must reach the tower's base alive. The time limit is seventy two hours. With that,we will now begin the third phase."

"No way" Leorio muttered while looking around.

"Yes way deary" Said Suna.

"We will pray for you success."

Before Bean entered the airship, Suna stopped him.

"Say to my grandfather, keep his mouth shut to okaa-sama okay?"

"Yes Akisuna-sama"

Bean replied and got on. Before the airship could fly far, Bean spoke again on a microphone from the airship. "Best of luck to everyone"

Gon looked over the edge of the tower. Suna and the others followed. Suna actually knew this place. She's a common guest here since she captured a few of the most handful criminal in this place.

"Are we supposed to climb down?"

Leorio asked a little bit frantic seeing how high it was. Suna chuckled at Leorio's remark.

"Of course not dear"

"That would be suicide.."

Kurapika added. Someone laughed behind them.

"Maybe for a normal person"

It was an applicant and he started climbing down.

"But a top-class rock climber can handle this, no problem"

He said before descending pretty quickly.

"Wow" Killua remarked.

"He's going down pretty fast" Gon added

"But I wouldn't recommend doing that sweetie'

Suna said to them. And pointed below. Soon enough the applicant was eaten by flying monsters.

"See? I told you so"

Suna giggled. 'Now where should I slide down? Mehena The Witch's prison? Or Eliot's?' Suna thought to herself and walked away from the others.
