12 Hunt Time

"Thank you," Yu Jin says as giving a change money to a customer. He is about to sit when his eyes accidentally sees a figure in front of the filmed glass door across him. His eyes is widen and he drops his jaw open. The figure approaches him.

"Is Xiao Ping here ?" a friendly voice of a girl asks. "Eh.. Ye.. yes, sure.. I'll go get her" Yu Jin answers still in groggy. He nears the changing room to call Xiao Ping while his head turns to his seat for couple of times.

"Ouuch!" Yu Jin shrieks together with the one who comes out of the changing room. "Yu Jin," Xiao Ping complains while rubbing her head. "Sorry.. sorry," Yu Jin pardoning also rubbing his chin. "Xiao Ping, there's a girl who's looking for you. Is she your friend ? But her appearance is .. " Yu Jing whispers and roll his eyes to end his sentence.

Xiao Ping looks behind Yu Jin's, to a girl who stands in front of cashier desk. "Er Hua ?!" she exclaims in shock with the same expression as what Yu Jin had before. "She really is your friend ?" Yu Jin asks disbelief. Xiao Ping only nods as she is in hurry coming to her friend and inspects her head to toe.

Er Hua spreads both of her hands to the side and turns around. This girl wears a bright red sleeveless top that has a low V cleavage combined with a white mini skirt that sticking tight to her hips. Her legs is covered by a pair of four-inches red boot. "I purposely bought these for today," Er Hua speaks.

"You are so pretty," Xiao Ping flatters. Er Hua does look pretty and grown up with her look. "But.. isn't the concert tomorrow ?" Xiao Ping reminds her. Er Hua waves her hand. "I've prepared another outfit for tomorrow. So.. are you ready ? Shall we go now ?"

Xiao Ping nods and turns her head to Yu Jin. "Yu Jin, i'm going to leave now. Thank you for covering me," she says goodbye with a sweet smile on her face. Yu Jin responds her smile, "Take care. If you had any trouble, don't hesitate to call me. You have my number, right ?" Xiao Ping nods to agree before she follows Er Hua exits the cafe.

Er Hua stands restlessly. She pulls her mini skirt down occasionally. "Oh, how much longer..," she complains. "Be patient. His plane hasn't even arrived," Xiao Ping responds. She elongates her neck trying to see the schedule board. "The plane is going to arrive at 25 pass five," she then informs Er Hua.

"It is still 15 more minutes," Er Hua says with a complaint. Xiao Ping looks around to eliminate boredom. The airport is full with girls just like her and Er Hua. Many of them bring posters and banners of Takeshi. They are all excited and can't wait to welcome their idol.

"Let's sit over there first," Er Hua suggests, pointing to a bench, "My legs are hurt." Xiao Ping looks at Er Hua's pity face and giggles. "Come on," she eventually is agreed and walks in advance to the bench and sits there.

After sitting, Er Hua crosses her leg and massages her calf while Xiao Ping is focussing her sight to the arrival door that has been fulfilled with Takeshi's fans. She hears a phone rings near her. She doesn't have a cellular so she is certain it is Er Hua's. "Hello ? Dad?" Er Hua greets to her dad after she took the phone.

Xiao Ping watches her best friend for a while before turns back to her previous activity. While looking around she wiggles her legs. Some people that passing by can not help not to stare at Er Hua. Either because she chats cheerfully loud or because her appearance. Deep in her heart, Xiao Ping feels a little bit insecure sitting beside her best friend now. With only wearing a t-shirt with Takeshi's face on it, a blue jeans, and a snicker, the petit Xiao Ping feels like drowning compared to Er Hua's appearance.

"Xiao Ping!! I'm going to watch concert together with you in the first class!!" Er Hua exclaims so happy then hugs her best friend. "Really ? Oh.. so happy to hear that !" Xiao Ping replies in the same happiness. Er Hua releases her hug. Her face becomes red due to her excitement.

"Knowing you got the first class ticket, I persuaded my father to upgrade my ticket. He refused it at first. But then I sulked and didn't speak to my father hehehe... finally he couldn't stand it and gave up," Er Hua tells her strategy to get the ticket. Xiao Ping smiles so wide until she loses her eyes. Both her hands grab Er Hua's.

"I'm so relieved. I would be anxious to be in that crowded place. But if there were you, I would be fine," she says in relieved. "Don't worry, we're going to have fun to... Aaaaaaaa!!!" Instead of finishing her sentence Er Hua suddenly screams full of excitement.

It takes Xiao Ping a couple of seconds to realize. Then, she grabs Er Hua's hand and run toward the crowed. Both of the girls scream to call Takeshi while jostling around. Far ahead them, from the arrival door appears a head, a bit taller than others' in the crowed, which of course makes the crowd holler. Xiao Ping jumps out hoping to see Takeshi's face, but all she can see is the top of her idol's hair. The crowd move as Takeshi's way out to the car that already stands by. They can't touch him because Takeshi's is fully guarded. Takeshi is finally able to reach the car. He waves and gives his most sweet smile then entering the car.

When the car starting to move, the girls are trying to chase it, including Xiao Ping and Er Hua. "Come on, Er Hua, we must across the street. The car must definitely turns around and passes there," Xiao Ping speaks while running across the street. Er Hua is running limping behind her, followed by some girls who has taught the same idea as Xiao Ping.

"Oouuch!! Sh*t!! Xiao Ping, waiit!!" Er Hua suddenly wails. Her heel is stuck in a trench cover iron grille. Er Hua tried to pull it but instead she fell down. "Xiao Ping!!" she shouts. Xiao Ping stops running and turns around. she is shocked to see her friend sits down on land.

"Are you okay ?" Xiao Ping asks worry while comes to her friend. "My heel is stuck," Er Hua explains while trying to open her shoes. Xiao Ping squats and helps her. "Takeshi!! Takeshi!!!" that hysterical scream makes Xiao Ping turns her head and sees the car is passing by.

Er Hua sees the broken heels-red boot that is in her hand then lets a peeved sigh. "I am in such bad luck. It is not only we failed to chase Takeshi but my new shoe is broken," she pots. Soon she throws her shoe on the floor of the car then turns to Xiao Ping. "Sorry, Xiao Ping," she apologizes.

Xiao Ping who has stared the view outside the car's window turns her head and pats Er Hua's hand. "No need to apologize. It was an accident. Beside, we still have plenty of opportunity to hunt Takeshi," Xiao Ping's speak turns on Er Hua's spirit. Er Hua nods in agreement. She is straighten up her right hand between her body and Xiao Ping's. The other girl stacks her own hand above it.

"Two for all and all for Takeshi !" they both exclaim then end up laugh in joy. "But you better use a more comfortable shoes," Xiao Ping suggests as they end their laughters. "Luckily, I bring a spare," Er Hua says. she takes a box out from passenger seat, opens it. Inside there is a pair of thick sol sneaker that also seemed new. Er Hua puts them on then pats the driver in front of her.

"A Li, drive faster! We want to meet our boyfriend," Er Hua says to him then winks at Xiao Ping.

A sedan stops in front of a lobby hotel. Its back doors are immediately opened and two girls come out in hurry, running into the hotel, almost bumping people in the lobby. They run down the stair to the hotel ballroom where a press conference should be held. But both stop immediately and look to each other in disappointment to see hundreds of people already standing in front of the ballroom door.

With sluggish steps they approach the crowd. From a television that is seemed purposefully to be put on some places by the hotel management, they know that the press conference has been started. Their idol, Takeshi Hasegawa, looks so stunning. He wears a dark brown blazer and a pair of jeans. His hair is neatly arranged to back so his face looks so bright and fresh. Takeshi sits behind a long table while with the help of translator responding presses' questions patiently. His lips keep giving such a smile that makes his fans hysterically scream non stop.

Xiao Ping is stunned to watch Takeshi on the screen when suddenly Er Hua pulls her hand. Xiao Ping gives her a wonder look. Er Hua puts her finger in front of her own mouth to tell her to be quiet. They get out of the crowd and silently go to the aisle. It looks like Er Hua wants to search other doors of the ballroom. Actually, there really is such door. Enthusiastically, the girls approaching the door but soon become disappointed as it is locked. They go back walking down the aisle, hoping to find a secret door into the ballroom. But, all of five doors they have found, all are locked.

Turning to the left, Xiao Ping pulls Er Hua's hand and points a head. There are five men who apparently bodyguard guarding the aisle. They are all muscular and wear all-black uniforms. One of them is talking on his headset. Before anyone sees, the girls have retreated and hide closely behind the wall. They breathe hasty.

Er Hua sees a small door in front of her, right in the junction. She then guides Xiao Ping toward it. Silently they snick into the room behind the door. It seems like a cleaning storage. They close the door loosely, leaving a slight opening. Xiao Ping holds Er Hua's hands tight. See feels so tense. Some men run in front of them while speaking on the headset.

Overheard that Takeshi will come out very soon, Er Hua desperately opens the door and comes out. Xiao Ping follows with fear. In that moment, the double door on the left wall of the aisle opens. Even from a far, both girls recognize Takeshi's figure that is just showing out from that door.

"Takeshi !!" Er Hua hysterically shouts. Pulling Xiao Ping, they run closer. Takeshi Hasegawa hears her call and turns to where it came. But before they have a change to look at Takeshi's face, both girls have already grabbed by the bodyguards. The small Xiao Ping is easily carried away by a guard. The other guard seems a little bit overwhelmed taking care of Er Hua. He drags her go while she continues fighting and calling on Takeshi who has turned away and quickly walked toward the opposite direction

Xiao Ping dan Er Hua stare at each other with a mindful thought. A waiter has just exited the elevator with all other guests. They both saw the waiter tapped his card on the detector but didn't pushed a floor button since it had already been selected. Only hotel employee has access to all floors of the hotel.

With a bit doubt, Er Hua's hand pushes button of the highest floor of the hotel. It should not be on. Both girls scream when the button is on. In weary yet hopeful, the girls stare at the display that showing floor the elevator is reaching. The number is getting larger and larger. Xiao Ping turns to Er Hua to give a grin. Finally the floor they have pushed is shown on the display. Both are approaching the elevator door, impatiently await it to be opened.

When the door is finally opened, both become pale to see two big guys' back in front of them while the guy's faces turn to them. Even though the guys give friendly smile, they immediately turn back their body closing up the entry of the elevator.

With a nervous smile, Er Hua pushes a button to close the elevator door. She and Xiao Ping then bend their body a few times, apologizing until the door is closed. After it is closed, the girls lean back to the elevator wall and sigh in relieve.
