2 The Birth of the Blessed
The fall has taken a toll on the destiny of the gods of Heaven. According to the map of a thousand strings, an infant guardian should be bestowed by the gift of immortality and healing - the gift that the infant Diayu was destined to receive if she and her mother were not cursed.
The gods are hell-bent on finding another replacement, an infant born within two guardians during spring. Fortunately, on the western continent, another guardian family - not as prestigious as the ones from the eastern continent - has given birth to a beautiful baby boy. His hair was like strings of gold, shining like the sun's rays. His eyes are sparkling deep ocean blue. Every smile formed from his lips brings happiness to everyone who sees him.
The gods immediately took a liking to the western golden boy and arranged for him to be Diayu's replacement. The infant named Haru has been taken away 3 days after he was born and was transported to the Heavens. The gods and goddesses of the Heavens created an edict banning the mere mention of Diayu's name or the incident of her parent's death.
Records have been burnt and not a single soul dared to speak of Diayu's name again. The gods and goddesses have deleted every single memory of Diayu and her family to humans as if they never existed. The only remaining record of Diayu's existence is in the map of a thousand strings, the book which the Supreme One left millions of years ago. The map has been locked closed since, making sure that Haru will stay oblivious to everything that has transpired.
Haru has started his mentorship on how to be a proper god early on. He has been trained to the art of combat using different weapons that mankind has created by the god of war, Amoz. He was tutored by the goddess of knowledge, Chizue about everything that he needs to learn about gods and humans. The sky goddess Sora also bestowed him a pair of beautiful white wings that glistens under the sun which he can use to descend from the Heavens to go the mortal world.
The golden boy was also adored and loved by both gods and humans. Hundreds of altars are built in his name. Humans flock whenever he visits the mortal realm, as getting a glimpse of him is enough to make one feel good for days. His healing prowess reached all continents - except the farther north, where all signs of love and happiness cease to exist.
Haru has formed a tight bond with two other young gods, similar to his age. He grew close to one of Chizue's sons, Tu who is also the god of modern technology. The young god is very talkative and mischievous, the mastermind of all adventures. The other one is a descendant and the right-hand man of Amoz, Chul-Moo, the mysterious and aloof young god of weaponry. The three of them are inseparable and treats each other as a brother of their own blood. Chul-Moo, especially, is very protective of the two since he is the eldest and the most adept in combat. He made sure that none of them will get in trouble and will always be safe during their adventures.
