8 Chapter Six

06 – Love.

The next day, I am so enthusiastic about our summer trip that I completed packing my belongings in just one hour. When I got down there, Jax was waiting for me.

He was having a conversation with my parents. Mom and Dad are probably busy with requests and instructions since this will be the first time I will be traveling out of town without many companions. That idea nearly made me laugh out loud.

When they saw I was getting close to them, they stopped chatting.

Then I turned to face mother and kissed her on the cheeks before facing dad and doing the same.

My brothers were preoccupied at work due to the tight schedules and packed meetings, and they just recently sent me a text message about my vacation with Jax.

Daddy re-emphasized something to Jax, saying, "Don't forget about our requests, Jax." I saw Jax nodding. "Don't be worried, tito Zion. I'll take care of her," Jax replied.

We said our goodbyes to my parents and walked outside. Matteo, Jax's driver, picked us up and took us to the airport.

Because Jax was there for the ride, the journey did not get mundane. Whenever traveling with Jax, I never got bored even though we travel for long drive places.

The Villaraza's chauffeur comes to pick us up. We finally arrived at the resort after a long but enjoyable journey. The sights were just breathtaking.

I took a few steps back and gazed at the clear view of the beach; it was pretty calm. My gaze was drawn to the resort's panoramic vista, where I took in every aspect of the breathtaking landscape before me.

We were approached by a member of their staff who directed us to Jax's villa."

"Good afternoon, Sir! Thank you for visiting here with your lovely girlfriend. Enjoy your stay here." Miss Alena, a member of the staff, greeted us and expressed her appreciation for our visit. It was as though she had waved goodbye and left us to roam about in our own room.

I saw the flowers strewn over the bed. It has the appearance of a honeymoon suite. My cheeks became warm at the idea of it.

I took a few steps into his villa and glanced around. The mirrored wall that stretched from floor to ceiling was magnificent. Providing me with a breathtaking view of the sea.

When Jax's arms curled around my waist, he whispered, "Do you enjoy it?" While he was holding me tight, I felt his chest pressing against my back. There was no more space between us at this point.

"It's really stunning, Jax," I said as I raised my eyes to his.

The warm breeze blew through the room just as the sound of the waves hit my ears.

"Would you want to go for a swim?" he inquired in my ear.

"All right, Jax, I'll just go in the shower."

The sound of his voice sent chills down my spine. "Hmmm. I'll wait for you outside. Please don't keep me waiting." I gave him a knowing nod.

When I went to the restroom, I was surprised by how large it was. I couldn't resist the allure of the rose-filled bathtub. However, it will take time, and Jax is waiting for me, and he may get bored if I am in the toilet for an extended period.

I blew out my hair and put a bikini under a summer dress to cover it up for the occasion. The moment I walked out the door, I saw Jax chatting to one of the company's workers.

He patted the man on the shoulder and walked over to me to say hello. I took a deep breath and absorbed the fragrance of the fresh wind in the air. It was very soothing.

Jax attempted to drag me into the water, and I was on the verge of scream. I locked my gaze on the guy who sat next to me, shirtless.

"Come on, Cali," Jax said as I removed my summer dress and placed it on the sun lounger.

"I'll be there," I said as I walked closer to the lake.

I cast a look over my shoulder to Jax, who was already in the water and waiting for me to arrive. His brows were furrowed as he was preoccupied with gazing at me from head to toe.

Possessive Jax is now active. When I got close to the water, he was just starting to get up again.

"Can you tell me what you're wearing, Cali?"

When he asks whether I'm wearing a bikini, I taunt him, still beaming.

"Do you think you're okay with that?" he said while hovering over my bikini once more.

I smiled and nodded. "I am, in fact."

"All right, then... I'm only here in case someone decides to take advantage of you and punch their lights out," he exclaimed vehemently before approaching me close.

He put his arms around me and kissed me on the lips. My legs were wrapped at his sides, and he was holding my thighs.

"You're so lovely, baby," Jax said, and I flushed.

"It goes for you as well, Jax."

"Beautiful?" he said, and I burst out laughing. Then I realized he was still gazing at me with a serious expression on his face, which explained why my laughter had stopped, and he was simply smiling at me.

When his hands reached my thighs, it caused my breath to catch in my throat. His hands eventually came to a halt at my sides. He gently squeezed the inside of my waist.

I gazed into his eyes and held his cheek. I felt his lips brush across the palms of my hands before he lowered his face to mine.

My lips were gently kissed by him, and I reacted with much too much passion and intensity. My hands were going up against his chest and shoulders, grabbing hold of his torso.

"I love you, Cali," he murmured between kisses on the cheek.

"I love you as much, Jax," I murmured while he's busy biting his bottom lip.

After the swimming, we returned to the villa to freshen up with a shower. I don't want to spend the rest of the day with sand all over my body. I took a shower first, and then when I finished, he came after me.

I changed into a maxi dress after enjoying the warmth of the shower for a while. I went into the kitchen in search of Jax and found him there.

He's making pasta, and the place smelt just delicious. I walked over to him and stood there watching him. Jax is an excellent cook, some would say outstanding.

As he was bringing the dishes to the table, I approached him and said hello.

"Let's eat?" Jax said, and I agreed. On my plate, he placed the food before his own. I had a bite of it.

"How did it go?" he inquired.

"Wow, this is very delicious," I said as I smiled at him as we proceeded to eat.

After that, I asked Jax to rest for a bit since we were both exhausted from the long trip we had taken earlier.

I could feel his arms wrapping over my body, his eyes closed, as he stood alongside me. Before I fell asleep, I could hear him snoring softly next to me.

It felt like something heavy was pressing down on my body as I woke up. When I opened my eyes, I saw Jax's arms wrapped around my waist. I gently withdrew his arms while keeping an eye on Jax in case he woke up. I used slow and deliberate motions. As soon as I heard his tiny snores, I chuckled to myself.

The scenery outside our villa was so beautiful that I was utterly distracted when I felt someone's arms wrap around me from behind me. Jax…

As I caught up with Jax, I tilted my head to look into his sleeping eyes. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Why did you leave me? You should wake me up," he said in his bedroom voice.

"I don't have the heart to wake you up from your peaceful slumber," I said, turning my face away from him and looked at the window to take in the breathtaking scenery outside.

"Smells good," he said in my ear as he kissed the back of my neck.

He has complete freedom to kiss my neck since my long and wavy hair was put up in a bun, and there is no hair in the way of his doing what he desires.

The lengthy, warm shower has made me feel a lot more relaxed and very refreshed.

When I looked outside, I noticed the sea, which was peaceful, and the moon shining brightly over the water, creating a beautiful spectacle for the whole resort.

Wearing my satin nightgowns, the fabric clings to my body and provides a comfortable fit.

After getting out of the bathroom, I immediately attracted the attention of Jax, who was sitting on our bed. He looked at me from every angle and never took his gaze away from me. I stepped in front of him and took his hand in mine.

"What? Is there a problem? "I said in hushed tones.

"Nothing. You look breathtaking." I felt my heart fill with pride as he remarked

His hand grabbed mine and dragged me to his lap, all the while continuing to look at me. His arms wrapped around my waist, and he smiled.

His face came close to mine, and then I felt his breath on my skin, which made me quiver. It was a really personal moment.

"You will never leave me," he murmured in a hushed tone.

"I'm not going to, Jax," I muttered, my attention drawn away by the mood that was slowly forming within his villa.

"Kiss me, Cali," he said in reverent whispers, his lips nearly touching mine.

Without a second thought, I wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him passionately. He licked my lower lip and inserted his tongue into my lips.

While we were kissing, he remarked, "You're driving me insane, baby."

His hand moved over my body, touching my breasts and remaining on my thighs, softly squeezing them together.

I panted as I stepped away from our kiss. I glanced at Jax, and his eyes were brimming with want. He leaned in to speak into my ear.

"I want you... I badly want you," he murmured, huskily kissing the back of my neck. "I want you so desperately."

"I want you too, Jax," I said as my body felt like it was on fire. I'd never felt anything like this before in my life.

I can feel his trail kisses up my neck, and I groaned when he arrived at the location. I glanced down and noticed my nighties raised up and my underwear peeping out from under my nighties.

He extended my thighs to allow him to enter in between the gap he intended to create. His hand reached up and caressed my inner thighs, and I gasped and groaned as I realized he had touched my thighs.

Then he attempted to open my lips with his tongue. He pushed me closer to him, and I felt him very hard. When I gasped, he took advantage of the chance to slide his tongue into my mouth.

He slid his fingers around my thighs and moved them around his waist, and now I'm straddling him.

The cool air crept through my skin as he removed my clothing and kissed the back of my neck. He slid his tongue out of his lips and ran it down my shoulder blades, and I shuddered.

His eyes were filled with passion and want as he placed his fingers back on my neck and traced the necklace he had given me earlier.

"Oh, Cali…" The shimmering desire coursed through my body as he kissed the back of my neck. "I love you so much."

The sound of his palm brushing across my stiffened nipple made me sob. "I love you so much, Jax," I said.
