16 Chapter 16

The day ended heavily. Sam went to her study room. She was lying on the sofa. I just peeked. I did not know how to approach her.

Me being a bastard ended a child and to the person that I never had feelings. It was my canine nature ate her up; my stupidity.

How could I patch everything now?

I entered quietly. I tried not to disturb her,

"Leave me alone" she suddenly spoke while closing her eyes.

The cold breeze in the room intensified. I was about to step closer, not heeding her warnings.

"Did I not say LEAVE ME ALONE" she suddenly looked at me. If her glare could kill, I was surely dead from her sharp sight.

"Sam, I am so sorry..." I started but was stopped by a pillow thrown to my face.

"I told you I want you to leave. Cant you understand?" She said as she kept throwing the pillows until nothing came to my way.

I kneeled in front of her. I held her hand and said, "I love you so much.. please dont be angry anymore. Our child will feel it" I said trying to calm her down.

her angry face somehow subsided and put her hand on her belly

"What are your plans with your child with her?"

"I will support her financially as I should be"

"neither you will go to her nor come in contact with her. When she give birth, your child can stay in this house but never let her enter"

She looked at me as if she was in the verge of the cliff deciding to jump or not. She hated the situation but she was aware that the child did not do anything. I was scared that she will run away from me again. But she decided not to. I pulled her hand and kissed her hand as if saying thank you to her.

"Leave me be. i want to rest"

"How about in our bedroom? Its spacious"

"Not... enough.." she dozed off

I could not stop myself smiling at her sleeping state.

I lifted her slowly and placed her to our bed. I called the butler to get enough pillows for her. I also instructed them to watch her and make sure she eats on time when I was at work.

They were delighted for the news. They immediately do everything I instructed. I took liberty to snuggle to her as she slept soundly.

"Sam... dont leave me" I whispered to her ear and ended up to fall asleep.
