189 KNOCKING THE PESSIMIST

Travis didn't know whether to laugh or cry in this situation. 'Nobody told me she'd be this clingy.' He thought and chuckled internally while trying to comfort her.

"I'm sorry. I thought you'd be fine here since this is my house. Dad told me you've been here a couple of times when I we haven't met. I didn't expect you'd be afraid." He spoke to her softly while gently patting her back. "I won't do it again."

Jillyanna was still hiccuping while hugging him. She just didn't know why she's being emotional and she sometimes hated herself for it. She was unreasonably sensitive and Travis never argued with her.

"Am I being unreasonable? Am I just too sensitive? Am I becoming a burden to you?" She asked him consecutively as she wiped her face on his shirt.
