42 BREWING TROUBLES I

Travis felt something wasn't right but he can't pinpoint what it was. He gave the young girl a once-over-look before he turned around and left.

"If you did something awful, if you hurt her, don't expect her to forgive you." Jenny stated towards Travis's lonely back. He stopped for a moment but he didn't refute what she said, then he continued to walk away.

Jenny breathed a sigh of relief from such troublesome person. "It was a great thing that big sister knew someone would come but I think that handsome man won't believe me. What a troublesome fellow!"

Unknown to her, Valkyrie placed a listening device on her and her words were transmitted directly to their ears. Travis scrunched his face after hearing what she said.

Valkyrie and Brown looked at each other before looking towards Travis. "Your woman is a tough one." Brown stated with a faint chuckle just enough for them to hear.

Travis didn't say anything because he can't recall anytime he upset her. Everything was just fine. That's what he thought.

They didn't leave the place and just watched the apartment building from a far while listening to any noise on the other end. Jenny came out soon and went inside to the room next to Jillyanna's.

When Jenny pushed open the door, she saw Jillyanna with her index finger on her lips, indicating her to keep silent.

Jenny nodded her head and walked towards Jillyanna with the box. She saw a paper with few words written on it placed on the coffee table. 'SPEAK LIKE YOU ARE TALKING TO CIELO.'

"Ms. Jillyanna was right. Some men came in her room when I was about to go out. They said that the guy was Ms. Jillyanna's fiancee. That's ridiculous isn't it?"

"Right." Jillyanna kept her words short and simple while she checked Jenny's clothes. She found a listening device on her back at the base of her neck. It must have been placed on her when she had her back on them.

"Let me change my clothes. I am sweating from cleaning earlier. Sir Lucian should be here any moment." Jenny stated and removed her clothes. She had it placed on the bathroom and turned on the shower.

Travis and his men can only hear the running water on the other end but it didn't affect them at all.

"That was a close call! I didn't know they would do that!" Jenny exclaimed in a whisper while Jillyanna just pat her head to show it's fine.

After fifteen minutes, Jenny and Jillyanna came out of the bathroom. The running water earlier was actually placed on a pale and they used it to clean their dirty clothes in a washing machine.

Later that afternoon, Lucian visited the apartment to see 'Cielo' and Jenny. Lucian's laughter can be heard faintly with the listening device.

"I am having fun seeing your troubled face. Who would have thought he'd be looking for you? He must like you so much." Lucian joked while placing the packed food on the table that he brought from the mansion.

"Don't even wander on that area. He doesn't like me. If I know, he's looking for me to abort this child." her statement stunned the two people in front of her. They never expect her to think that way.

"What do you mean by that?" Lucian asked with disbelief and horror reflecting his face.

"Nothing. In any case, my mind won't change. I'm leaving." Jillyanna stated with a firm determination. Lucian didn't probe her and they started eating with Jenny. As they have promised, they would support her as long as she's not committing anything illegal.

After eating, Jenny was disguised as Cielo and Jillyanna was disguised as Jenny. She had been good with her disguises since middle school as part of her training taught by Lucian's father and uncle. She never expected that she would be using it outside her undercover work.

Lucian drove Jenny back to Jillyanna's old home and Jillyanna waited for a taxi to go to her school. As expected, Travis and his men followed Lucian's car.

A smile crept up on Jillyanna's face as she watched two cars followed Lucian. The taxi driver sent her to the school's entrance and she hopped in to a bus that would send her to Venus Industrial Plaza.

Cielo was surprised to see her inside their cafe. Jillyanna mentioned that she'd visit her but she didn't expect her to visit this soon. Looks like she was pressed for time.

She led her to a corner where they can talk. Even though she was dressed as Jenny, Cielo can tell from her faint scent that it was Jillyanna in front of her.

"Yanna! Hey! Your wish finally came true." Cielo, Jillyanna's best friend nudged at her softly using her elbow. The smile plastered on her face couldn't deny the happiness she felt for her friend.

"I'm super happy Cielo. I'm going to have a baby soon." Jillyanna clapped her hands in her excitement as she told her best friend about the news of her having a baby. She's been praying for it and finally, God answered her prayer.

Cielo couldn't help but shake her head at her friend's silly action. She knew how much Jillyanna wanted to have a child of her own and she was really happy for her.

On the other hand, Travis realized what was wrong when they entered the place because Lucian didn't drop off Jillyanna on her house but at Jenny's small house.

"Go back to the city! Go back to the apartment! Check anyone that would get inside the Madrid's family mansion and Summer cafe. Someone that's very close to the owners." Travis's voice rang out full of anxiousness.

Valkyrie and Brown was also giving orders after hearing him. They never thought that Lucian would actually act as a bait to lure them out.

"They really love her. I don't think they'll give her to you that easily." Brown commented while driving the Rolls-Royce back to the plaza.

Travis had a gut feeling that Jillyanna would either go back to the Madrid's family mansion or back to Summer cafe.
