18 Staying overnight

After a nice but too short nap Nefertiri called Scar with a question.

"Can you come to stay for the night?"

"Aw Honey of course. I still didn't see your new home and you didn't even tell me the address!"

After telling her the address they hug up and Nefertiri just had to wait for her best friend arrival. She prepared some snacks and food that can be eaten old too if they didn't want to stand up to warm it up. After seeing the living room almost prepared she felt that something is missing. They need more pillows and something to cover themselves up to hide from the cold or maybe even to hide themselves if they got scared watching some movies. Nefertiri didn't like embarrassing scenes so she often closed her eyes and tried to hear as little as possible. So she looked at the table for one last time. They had something sweet, salty and spicy it should be alright.

Scar wrote her a message saying that she's there and to open the door because she doesn't remember the last name.

After opening the door Scar got quickly in and was really happy to see that the apartment had the feeling of a home. In the short time that Zidite was with Nefertiri he already took some pictures to put them in frames. Maybe they got their marriage certificate but they still had plans of a wedding ceremony the traditional kind.

"It looks amazing in here and the apartment isn't too big or too small."

"I think Zidite was thinking about the same when he got it but there wasn't anything in here. So he wanted to buy furniture together."

Scar squealed happily and hugged her best friend.

"I was waiting till you call him but you didn't! Who knows how long he was waiting in here without furniture."

Nefertiri didn't think about that so when Scar mentioned it she felt really bad. She just hoped he didn't have to wait too long in here.

"Let's sit down and put some movie on."

"Yeah! What do you want to watch?"

"A horror movie?"

"Ok."

Scar didn't really like that much to watch horror movies but she always had fun with Nefertiri. Sometimes even if she had nightmares afterwards it was still worth the laugh.

"Let's watch Sinister."

"Oh my god please no. Don't you remember that we tried watching it with Cecile and I just couldn't bring myself to?"

"Scar O think you're exasperating. It's really nice and the guy isn't so bad looking either."

"If just your soul mate heard what you said." Nefertiri brushed aside what Scar said and still tried to point that the guys handsome features even if he was scary. "Yeah and the dream where you paired him with Cecile."

"They did look cute with each other."

"Whatever just turn it on and feed me."

"Before you is a table full of food so you can grab whatever you want but I eat the small chips from the bowl you can have the big ones."

"Honey we are going to share it not even looking at the size." Nefertiri started to laugh.

"I'm not going to say what did I think about."

"Maybe it's better if you don't say anything."

"But it's sooo funny!"

"I bet it's not!"

"So I was thinking about sharing the Sinister without thinking about his size." She started winking at Scar and they both started to laugh like some crazy hyenas.

Nefertiri was commenting the film when she was getting mad and Scar could just laugh.

After eating the whole table of food Nefertiri wanted to eat some fries so she went to the kitchen to prepare them. She liked to eat the homemade because they were softer and tasted better. Scar helped her to peel the potatoes and in the means time Nefertiri washed the ones she got and started to cut them. There she got some weird feeling and tried to concentrate on in still holding the knife in her hand. She didn't even notice when she cut her finger every single sound was gone just the ringing in her ears was heard. Everything seemed to be frozen. She started to feel bad as if she got the flu or something even worse. She shouldn't be getting sick because of their nature and she made sure that she got to live as long as she could. What if something happened to Zidite? She needs to check on him. Her world swayed or so she thought and then everything turned black.

Scar was terrified what should she do with her friend that just fainted. She looked if she still breathes and tried to see if she can respond to her. She got Nefertiri in the couch and covered her with the covers that Nefertiri prepares for them. She found her phone and started calling Zidite.

"Something happened little fox?" He saw her a couple of hours ago so something has to be wrong if she's calling.

"Zidite! It's Scar! Nefertiri she… she fainted I don't know why. The last thing I know is when I already saw her on the floor. You need to get home." Zidite was in the meeting but he still got her wife's call or so he though. His hand that was holding the phone trembled. He needs to get to his wife as fast as possible.

"I'm on my way." He needed to hurry up get home.

He felt that something weird was happening but he couldn't describe what it was. There was some dread in his heart thinking about the worst.
