36 Memories

Nefertiri was feeling rather weird having Zidite roam free in her mind but it was fine. As long as he didn't have some weird thoughts it's fine. On the other hand Zidite was concentrating on what he want's to find. After a moment a memory came forward and he closed his eyes hugging Nefertiri close to him.

There was a small girl with black hair just like all kids are supposed to have till they awake she was running happily with some kids playing tag but after the parents saw it they called their children one by one leaving her alone. After some time there wasn't anyone to play with her.

They were awoken from her memories when her phone made a sound of a notification from 'the game'. Both of them looked at her back and then in their eyes communicating. She took her phone from the bag to check if it's a mission or just a notification. It was the later so she didn't have to rush somewhere in this instant.

"We're going to change some rules in the next days so enjoy the free time! Till next time when you are going to roam for us."

The rules were the same all this time so did her existence give them a scare? She smiled happily. Everything was worth it. She really needs to get rid of those old farts.

Zidite squeezed her hand softly to remind her of their interrupted moment. She looked around to see a group their people looking at them some of them were gazing at them with feelings of longing others with jealousy. The women were the truly jealous, the males were longing for their other part feeling hollow inside. Looking at a mates couple made them dream about their own other half to make them feel completed. Showing off love like this feeding their single souls with dog food Mande then feel lonely and regretful the ones that they were not with their partner in this moment. Nefertiri got an idea so she took Zidites hand to channel their powers together for it to be stronger. She took a deep breath and took off her sandals to feel the earth and grass beneath her feet for a better connection. Her skin was glowing softly with a faint pink color that turned red in some places to mix with the pink rather fast. She started to sing in their long lost language, took Zidite to dance while they were at it some couples joined them but the difference was that Nefertiri was touching people with her fair hand filled with power. The touches people were feeling refreshed and got filled with love their hearts loses some longing and then they see some images. Wasn't it supposed to happen when they meet their soulmate? It was really fascinating. They saw their mates life before meeting them then the meeting and some happy scenes how their life went. It was sad that they didn't see their faces nonetheless their connection was strong now that they got to 'meet them'. Finding them would be easier now. Some of the elves didn't see anything it was a hollow feeling just a darkness without light. They could speculate that their soulmate wasn't born jet or they died. Sorrow filled their hearts but they could wait a little longer. It wasn't so bad to wait if they got some centuries together.

In the tribe of light miracles were done one after another so why couldn't her tribe be more accepting so they can cleanse their air and leave all negativity behind them. Is it really hard to be happy just by having what they got.

Nefertiri still felt the pain of longing for acceptance from her people but if they were going to be stubborn then maybe she should cleanse her tribe thoroughly. Even angles don't see anything bad in exterminating unnecessary or dangerous things even people. So why should she be shy? Isn't it for the good of their kind. Zidite feeling his mate to go to a dark place wanted to do something to stop it but on the other side he understood what she was thinking about. So he let her be he just needs to hold her up when she can't stand anymore on her own. He even will hold up the heavens if they are going to fall on her. She doesn't have to worry she just needs to be herself he though.

"I hope that some of you are happier now that the bond was formed with your mate. There is a side effect though. I just wanted you all to know that even if not for everyone there is someone waiting for you so it's better to wait patiently not feeling envy for others happiness. Jealousy doesn't carry us somewhere with light. We might fall if this continues! Even if there is no one for you now in this moment it doesn't mean that after a second it's going to be the same. You are all supposed to feel your mate even when they got born. Somehow in all those years we forgot! We forgot that we are powerful enough with the ancient teaching to know almost everything that happens around us! We just need to grab that power, feel it deep inside of us and embrace it! Don't be scared of anything even if yourself, that weakness is what makes your power vulnerable!"

After she said her piece she took Zidite away to spend more time with him. Their schedule is going to get tight after a couple of days so they are not going to be able to see each other as often as now. Holding his hand she was feeling warm all over so she didn't want to lose this comfortable feeling.

"You need to teach me all those things."

Zidite really wanted to help her sometimes lessen this weight that was holding her down. So one day he will help her find her peace without this burden.
