Chapter 7 - I don't like small children

Lin Xiao Yi immediately cleaned up after arriving home. Didn't know what's wrong with meeting a little girl who was very difficult to persuade.  Even to part with her was very difficult.

 "Xiao Yi, where have you been? Since this afternoon you disappeared and came home after sunset," Fang Yin said as she sat on the side of the bed while watching Lin Xiao Yi dry her hair.

 "I met a little girl. But she didn't want to be with her nanny and instead hugged my feet tightly. I was forced to take her around first until evening."  Lin Xiao Yi let out a long sigh as her stomach was starving even now because of that child.

 "Who?"  Fang Yin knitted her brows together.

 "The little girl who lives in that big house. I wonder why her mother doesn't want to take care of her? But she says her mother isn't there," Xiao Yi said while chuckling annoyed that her mother didn't even come out at all.

 "Really? Maybe her parents are busy. Didn't I say earlier that she was only with her father," Fang Yin said, reminded her.

"Ah, I forgot."  Lin Xiao Yi patted her forehead because she was already prejudiced against the mother of Mei-Yin.

 "You're always like that," Fang Yin grumbled.

 "I actually feel sorry for her but I also don't want to be with her too long. I don't like small children," Lin Xiao Yi said while grooming herself in the mirror.

 She remembered how she had walked around the complex until her legs felt sore.  There was a feeling of regret for offering to help the caregiver.

 "The kids are so cute. Why don't you like them?"  Fang Yin felt very strange about Lin Xiao Yi.

 "They're bothersome," Lin Xiao Yi said lightly.

 "Your excuses don't make sense. You also must have been more troublesome when you were little," Fang Yin sneered as she rolled her eyes.

 After chatting for a while, they went downstairs for dinner.  Luckily Fang Yin had already cooked this afternoon so Lin Xiao Yi didn't have to bother preparing it.  Just enjoy the food that was already available on the dining table.

 They eat while laughing occasionally. Told each other about their past.

Knock… knock… knock….

Their chat was interrupted when they heard a knock on the door from outside.

 "Who's visit at nights like this?" Fang Yin said while chewing the food that was in her mouth.

 "Let me open it."  Lin Xiao Yi shifted her chair back then immediately walked towards the front door.

 The house has two stairs, although it was not too big but it was enough for both of us to live in.

 "Who's visit at nights like this?" Lin Xiao Yi grumbled as she turned the lock and knob.  The reason was that it was rare for neighbors to visit them at night.

 Two tall, burly men stood at the door.  The clothes they wore were so snug that they exposed their muscles. They wear the same clothes and sunglasses.

 Lin Xiao Yi suddenly took a few steps back.  Afraid that the two of them were bad guys who might be looking for girls to sell.  Without thinking, Lin Xiao then closed the door without asking what they were coming for.  Her mind said that they were bad people.

"Don't close the door, miss!" one of the men said while holding the door from closing even though Lin Xiao Yi had pushed as hard as she could.

 "Who are you? What did you come here for?" Lin Xiao Yi shouted while holding the door with her back.

 "Miss, we are not bad people," the man explained as he pushed the door open until it finally opened because Lin Xiao Yi could not withstand their enormous strength.

 "Fang Yin, come here," Lin Xiao Yi called with a trembling body.  Her hand grabbed something that was on the table.  Unfortunately she only found small scissors.

 "What is wrong?"  Fang Yin immediately stared wide and hurriedly stood behind Lin Xiao Yi.

 "Who are you?" She shouted harshly.

 "Miss, we came here only to convey our boss's orders."  The two men bent down at the same time.

"Boss orders? What do you mean?" Lin Xiao Yi frowned.

 "Which of you is named Lin Xiao Yi?"  A guard looked at Fang Yin and Lin Xiao Yi in turn.

 "Her!" Lin Xiao Yi and Fang Yin pointed at each other.

 "Xiao Yi, why are you pointing at me?" Fang Yin said.

 "I'm just nervous."  Lin Xiao Yi grimaced then pointed at herself.

 "What's the matter are you looking for me?" She said with a braver feeling.  After all, why fear if she could fight back.

 "Can we come in?" one of them said.

 Lin Xiao Yi and Fang Yin looked at each other.  But immediately stepped aside to make way when the two men who had stepped inside.

 "Miss, our boss wants to ask you to be a nanny."  One of the men opened the suitcase which was filled with so much money.
