97 Tricked, Anger, Tricked Yet Again, Tragic Event and Wrath.

While Oemitsu was dealing with the army of Asvarre, the other 3 battlefields were raging on. Brittania held the defensive position and it was barely holding.

On the left mountain; 350,000 soldiers from Muozinel were being held off by Ousen and his army of barely 80,000 men.

His fortifications made it almost impossible for Kureys to conquer it. Whenever he came close to it, Ousen would retreat to another fortification. Like his father, he was a complete master of fortifications making it very costly for Kureys to even capture a meter of land.

On the right mountain; 100,000 brittanian soldiers were facing 150,000 soldiers from Sachstein. Leonhardt, the leader of the army from Sachstein, attacked relentlessly the mountain.

However, Karin and Yo Tan Wa defended the mountain, refusing to give a single inch of ground to them. In the end, the battle reached a stalemate.

The place in which the battle was raging the most was in front of Pendragon. The coalition army managed to build up a bridge in an hour and crossed the river successfully. With five Vanadis leading them, Zhcted's moral was at an all time high.

Meanwhile; only 60,000 troops were defending the walls of Pendragon. Ou Ki was personally leading them with Machi, Pakunoda and Shizuku being positioned here.

Zhcted stormed the walls with 100,000 soldiers... the soldiers struggled to climb up the walls, however, Eleonora and the other Vanadis were deployed to help them.

Unlike what Sasha expected, Oemitsu was not defending the walls himself, instead, his family members fought off the Vanadis who finally managed to climb up the walls.

Shizuku fought Ludmila, Pakunoda fought Valentina and Olga fought off Mo Bu. Ou Ki and Sasha stayed outside of the fighting for now, making sure their plans were progressing as they wanted.

Ou Ki's objective was only holding them off until Oemitsu arrived since there is no way that they can win against 5 Vanadis.

Sasha immediately realized that she was tricked. If Oemitsu isn't on the walls, then he is on another battlefield and no one can stop him. So she decided to focus everything she has on this... if she managed to capture the Royal Capital before Oemitsu arrived to reinforce them, then it would be her win. With no other choice, she climbed up a ladder and joined up the fight.

She was met with an unpleasant sight as soon as she climbed up the walls.

On top, a young girl was standing on a body with a bunch of body parts surrounding her. The blood of soldiers from Zhcted made a small pool... She was completely unfazed by the bodies around her.

"Let me guess you are the commander of the coalition, Sasha."

The young woman said as she recognised Sasha.

"Yes, that is my name and your name is? I don't remember ever meeting you."

The woman's eyes immediately turned dark with bloodlust flowing through her body as if it was water flowing in a river.

"Who am I? I am Oemitsu's personal Doctor, Machi and you are the bitch that cut off Oemitsu's eye... I will make sure that I will pay you back for everything that you have done. Nen Stiches!"

Machi said as strings were concentrated on the tip of her fingers. Unlike normal strings, her strings were black, completely covered in Haki.

Sasha pulled out her two daggers that burned in orange flames as soon as she got them off of their scabbards. Without waiting for anything else, Machi dashed at her clashing her strings with her daggers.

"DIE! Pentagon Strings!"

Machi's strings grouped up in one hand, before she clawed at Sasha, cutting everything in the way.

This technique is the same Oemitsu uses, so Sasha was able to deal with it quit easily since Machi is just a copy cat she is way too far way from the real thing.

"Good enough for an imitation, but still too far to be a threat. Burn her to ashes, Bargren!"

Responding to her call, her daggers exploded with fire, burning all of Machi's strings that were coming to kill her.

Machi knew that this was going to happen, so the strings only served as a distraction. While Sasha was dealing with her strings, Machi was using a simpler version of Oemitsu's parasite, using strings to capture Soldiers from Zhcted.

"My body is moving on it's own!"

"Please stop... why isn't my body obeying me?!"

"Lady Sasha, please help us!"

"Lady Sasha please help us!"

A hundred soldiers were being controlled by Machi and threw themselves at Sasha. Sasha had no choice, but to kill them or else she would lose her life.

With her daggers, she ruthlessly cut down any enemies that reached near her. Even with her staying on high guard against her fellow soldiers, she was caught by surprised by Machi who was hiding in the middle of the soldiers. Machi jumped on her back and her strings wrapped around Sasha's neck.

The strength of her threads is inversely proportional to their length: a thread long enough to circle the globe would be as strong as cotton, but a thread less than one millimeter in length could lift a ton.

Sasha clearly felt this, because it didn't mattered what she tried, the strings couldn't be cut, so instead of continuing like this, she choose a different approach. She grabbed Machi's scarf and threw her over her shoulder, Machi back flipped and landed graciously on the ground, completely uninjured.

"Your rage clouds your judgement, if you weren't blinded by your wrath, you could have broken one of my arms with that surprise attack... that could have been enough to defeat me later on."

Machi was about to retort to Sasha's comment, however, the cheers from soldiers down below stopped her from doing so.

The soldiers from Zhcted managed to open the gate and they were pouring out like crazy, this only served to enrage Machi more and more.

"Looks like Eleonora managed to complete her task. A little advice, next time try to pin down all of our Vanadis... we deployed 5 of them and you guys only managed to stop 4 of them. Well, It is not like you are going to be able to use this advice since you will die here."

As soon as Sasha finished her little speech, a platoon soldier climbed through the stairs and screamed.

"Lady Sasha, General Ou Ki ordered the withdrawal of all troops to the second wall!"

Machi's killing intent went to an all time high, her rage was suffocating the poor messenger who was barely alive.

"Stop fucking with me! Retreat? As if, I am not retreating until I kill this bitch!"

Machi screamed as the poor messenger almost pissed himself. Enemy soldiers climbed through the stairs behind Machi surrounding her, she remained motionless.

The soldiers from Zhcted saw this as a sign of surrender, so they moved in to kill her.

"Protect Lady Sasha!"

"DON'T!!! STOP!!!"

Sasha screamed as they all rushed at Machi, but it was too late.

Machi's strings danced around her as soldiers were mutilated without mercy, in the span of 5 seconds there was no living soul around Machi. When Sasha tried to stop it, it was already too late.

Machi inhaled and calmed herself down, she stared down Sasha, before she turned her attention to the soldiers from Zhcted entering the city. Sasha immediately realised her intentions.

"I am not going to let you!"

Sasha said as she dashed towards Machi and tried to cut her head off, however, Machi back flipped and dodged her daggers.

With the back flip, she jumped down the walls and landed in the middle of the invading army of Zhcted, her strings danced around her and soldiers were brutally decapitated and mutilated. Sasha immediately followed after her

and tried to catch up to her with no avail.

In the end, Sasha managed to corner Machi in a alley but not before Machi managed to kill more than at least a 1,000 men. When Machi saw that Sasha had cornered her in an alley she smiled instead of being upset or mad at it. Considering that Machi was from the entirety of her fight enraged, Sasha immediately knew that something was wrong.

"Huff, pretending to be mad is harder then expected."

Machi said as she covered her hand in Haki and punched the ground.

Then she pulled out something rather unexpected in the eyes of Sasha.

"Durandal... so Oemitsu has the legendary sword of Brune."

Machi pulled out the Durandal from the ground. One thing she learned from Oemitsu is how to manipulate your enemies using your own emotions. She used her rage to lure Sasha into this alley...

"Sorry, we are late Machi. Our opponents were rather troublesome."

Pakunoda said as she appeared in the other exit of the alley, trapping Sasha inside. Standing on Pakunoda's side without saying anything is Shizuku. This is a plan that Machi devised, she would lure Sasha into this alley.

Pakunoda and Shizuku would distract their opponents and regroup here. This three only had one objective, killing Sasha.

"So from the beginning this was your goal trapping me in here? By pretending to be enraged you made me think that you were just rushing in without any plan. You got me good..."

None bothered answering her, this assassination had a time limit. They could only keep the other Vanadis stuck for a while before they realised they were fooled.

Pakunoda and Shizuku both have different injuries, it is clear that their fights were as taxing as hers. They had limited time before the other Vanadis come to reinforce Sasha.

Machi rushed Sasha and brought down her giant sword, Durandal, that she was struggling to wield.

Washa tried to defend the sword with her daggers, however, Durandal has a special ability. It cancels every ability from the Dragonic Tools that the Vanadis wield. Sasha was not expecting such ability, the sword destroyed her guard and slashed her shoulder before it stopped half way through.

"Bargren. Why isn't my Dragonic Tool not answering... something is wrong."

Sasha pondered out loud, but it was too late to regret anything.

Pakunoda and Shizuku were already behind her. Pakunoda's pistol shot 6 bullets in succession, Sasha got hit by three of them in the chest. It was good but not enough to kill her, Shizuku was the one that was going to finish her.

An agreement the 3 of them made is that Sasha wouldn't leave this country alive, by all means necessary. They all knew that Oemitsu needed to bang the 7 Vanadis, but they also knew that if Sasha was dead, Oemitsu could just get her successor.

They would rather die than letting Sasha walk around in Oemitsu's chambers... she was the one who took off Oemitsu's eye, to them, there is no worst enemy. When Machi offered to assassinate Sasha the other two didn't hesitate and promised to assist her. All of them hated Sasha and all of them wanted her death.

Shizuku dashed as she coated her leg with Haki and brought down an axe kick on a Sasha that was stuck in place by Machi's durandal.

"Tear them apart, Ley Adnos!"

A huge ball of air stopped Shizuku from dealing the final blow on Sasha. This surprised Machi, her plans were ruined by another Vanadis.

"That bitch! She was the one who opened the gate..."

The other Vanadis, Ludmila and Valentina arrived soon after ensuring that the assassination plan was a complete failure. Now, they were the ones outnumbered. Machi was so enraged that her attention shifted from Sasha to Eleonora.

This proved to be a fatal mistake since Sasha is proficient in using any weapon, even without her fire abilities, Sasha is still extremely proficient with the daggers.

Sasha shifted Durandal's weight with one of her daggers and used the other dagger to stab Machi ln the side.

"Any last words?"

Sasha asked as her dagger was already deep into Machi's right side, so deep that it made Machi drop the Durandal. The weight of the sword was too much for machi to handle while being stabbed.

"Yeah... fuck you!"

Machi laughed and Machi stabbed her with her other dagger, plunging the other dagger deep in Machi's chest, destroying her heart.

In the end, Machi's only regret one thing... she failed Oemitsu. She let the city he build be breached by enemy soldiers, she failed to kill her most hated enemy.

She knows that her death means that anyone involved will die, so to her, she will see Sasha soon enough.

"MAAAAAAAACHIIII!!!"

Pakunoda screamed but she was stopped by Ludmila and Eleonora.

Machi only hoped that her friends would escape, they needed to run or else they would be next.

She pleaded to God that she would be the last one to die in Oemitsu's family. This were her last thoughts before Machi closed her eyes...

Sasha turned her attention to the other two woman that were still fighting 3 Vanadis. They were probably trying to retrieve their friend's death body, however, they will die trying.

While Sasha suffered some injuries she can still fight, but first she needs to retrieve Durandal. It is a sword that belongs to Brune and it must be returned to its rightful place. However, when she extended her hand to grasp Durandal's hilt.

"SASHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Everyone in the battlefield heard a scream as a meteor hit the ground.

*Booooom*

The poor soldiers that got on it's way were all killed. In the middle of the crater a creepy Oemitsu was standing alone. His killing intent could be felt from miles away.

He was at least 5 kilometres from where they were, however, they could still feel his wrath...
