The kiss, First ring 2

My exams are finally over and now I can write with ease of mind.

Also went and re-read the last chap and found it lacking, most likely because I couldn't focus at the time, so I added some small details here and there to improve it and might change some dialogues in the future.

In response to her confused state I just said two words,

"Innovate Clear."

She continued to look clueless.

"Innovate Clear is not just a materialization of my inner world, dear mother. It is a complete world that I am God of."

Her face started to morph into shock ever so slowly, but I could see she was trying to decide if what she thought is right or not.

"I can create any spirit beast I want." the smirk on my face could not be hidden after seeing the face she was showing.

I have only told my parents about the sacred gear as a place where I will be tested against opponents by Chaos, and he will reward me with precious gifts for each victory.

They thought of it as something akin to the Qian clan's God trials ground but more advanced.

Never have I seen any necessity in clarifying that. The less know about my cards the better.

Now fully aware of the extent of this power, she jumped to smothering me with her boobs as she always does, not stopping her excitement to show.

"That's amazing Darling!"

*Chuckle*

Life is good when you have a pair of boobs on your face.

After calming her down she started to ask some questions like will the beast attack me when I create it? Or how old the beast is going to be?

And that kinda became my question too. Not the first one, I already know my own creation won't go against me.

Not only I can control their whole existence, but there is a small "problem" preventing them from doing anything besides my will.

They don't have an ego.

I have tested this power of my sacred gear many times, and the results are always the same.

They are...how should I put it?

They remind me of something and I think that's the best way to describe them.

Hollows.

Not the Bleach version, of course. The Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation ones.

They don't have a will. They don't have a purpose. They just...Exist.

But unlike hollows, my creations don't even have the urge to move forward or change. To become more.

And about the age of beast. I haven't really tried to make something old. 'Is there a limit to it Alicia?'

You can make anything there. But will your body handle the stress of absorbing a 1,000,000 years old ring?]

Good. I don't need an ancient ring when I can artificially age them with Innovate Clear. Even a one-year-old ring will most likely end up older than the age of this universe at some point if I continue grinding.

And having my answers I could reassure my mother that there is no risk for me.

When my explanation was done my mother looked me in the eyes, clearly uncomfortable with the idea of not being there to protect me, and said "Be careful and choose the age of your ring appropriately honey. I can't stand even the thought of you being hurt, so please promise me you will take care of yourself."

If she wasn't motorboating me just a minute ago I would have said this is just a wholesome normal family mother and son moment.

Returning her anxious look with a smile I say "I will, mother."

When she leaned forward I did not expect to feel the now almost nostalgic feeling of soft lips on my own.

I was stunned for just a second before returning the kiss. It was not french kissing, rather, it's the kind you would see in long-time lovers.

An unhurried and loving peck on the lips.

Our lips were connected for some more time before we separated slowly.

When I looked at her again she had such a beautiful smile that I felt my heart skip a beat.

"Be careful honey."

"I will, Nene."

"Wait did you ju-

Before she could finish I was engulfed in a flash of light and the next second, I was in my world.

Always wanted to do that.

But she did surprise me with the kiss. I mean, I do look older than my age would suggest, but I didn't foresee this happening till maybe I am twelve or thirteen.

Guess she was more stressed than she let on.

But that smile...

It reminded me of "her". Even though I can't recall her face or even her name, I will never forget how she smiled.

It always made my heart jump. Made me feel strong, motivated.

Can I be feeling love again? Even though it's not her?

I guess time will tell me.

And it's not like I won't have her back. I still have the quest for it.

With all of these, I feel ready to start.

But first, let me go to my palace in the sky.

What? You can't be good if you don't have heaven.

Transportation is quite cheap here, I just have to think about a place and I will appear there. So I did just that, and in a blink I was in the middle of a shining grand temple, overlooking the mountain range view in front of the entrance.

The best method for my lazy ass.

Walking to the grand throne in the temple my body gradually started to age, reaching my twenties by the time I was sitting.

"Ahh, how I like this form better."

I said I've been experimenting with Innovate Clear. This is just another example of it. As the God here I have absolute authority here, so adding a couple of years to my body is nothing, really.

Though, I noticed that I don't exactly look like Kotaro from the Samurai franchise. My appearance is kind of a mix between him and Kotaro from Sengoku Basara.

I don't know why I'm going to resemble him but I'm not going to complain when I have the best of the two.

Anyways. Let's move on to the important part of the day.

I started the process by closing my eyes to concentrate but immediately stopped.

I can create a three-eyed golden lion as easily as breathing, but why end it there when I can do an upgraded version?

So when I started again the second time, the image in my head was slightly different.

Focusing on creating the beast I began by increasing the Golden Dragon king blood in it. This in turn strengthened its physical body and yang energy. I want to go ahead and add the Silver Dragon king's blood too but just increasing the already existing Golden Dragon blood inside of it by a bit was draining to me.

Why is that? As the God here nothing should be out of my scoop but this just seems impossible.

[Because the bloodlines you are referring to both belong to God-kings thus being divine blood. Not even gods can replicate this procedure unless they are creation gods.

The fact that you could actually stimulate the already existing blood is a show of how strong your sacred gear is.]

Now that I think about it some more it's not that bad.

If I successfully did add both of the Dragon God's blood to my creation it could attract the attention of Asura God.

Or worse yet, one of the Dragon's halves.

Asura God is not unreasonable enough to just kill me and ask questions never. He would most likely try and put his burdens as God on me and run to some other world.

Probably Poseidon would join in too.

But the Dragon kings, especially Golden asshole, would most likely try and devour me to become whole again.

Gu Yuena(Silver dragon) is the more rational one of the dou and will probably ask for a way for me to do the same thing with her but I don't want to risk it.

Not until I am in the position to actually negotiate with them.

Anyways, back to the work at hand.

If I can't give it divine blood, I will accept the next best thing.

Mixing the blood of the Nemean lion made it even stronger, but the image of the beast is now a bit different. It's less transparent and the snout it had is more feline.

I think this is enough. The only thing left is its age.

The soul shock does not worry me, I can make the beast sacrifice itself for me. But the energy hidden inside the ring could very well damage me just like the Eight Gates does.

They both fill your body with an excessive amount of energy, for different reasons and from different sources.

I do have some methods to negate some of the excess energy so a bit of risk is alright here.

After a bit more thinking I settled for 30,000.

The Three-eyed Golden Lion is a top-notch spirit on its own, easily comparable to Titan Great Ape, and mine is only more profound so at this level it might very well have the same energy as a 60-70,000 years old beast.

And I can always just increase its age if my estimation is wrong.

Finalizing my thoughts I gave the last touches to my creation and saw it come to life.

I didn't give it that much attention and just made it sacrifice itself for me.

From the Shining corpse rose a Dark circle that was making its way to me. When the energy circle touched me I started the deconstruction of it, while at the same time bringing my Lion spirit out.

My martial soul seemed more...cognizant. I could feel a kind of hunger from it.

Heeding to my instincts I let the lion absorb the motes of dark light coming from the ring.

[Assimilating spirit ring.]

The ring's energy was coursing through my veins and soul, enriching every corner.

But after some time my body seemed to reach the limit of what it could absorb.

The energy wasn't so friendly anymore. I could feel it try and force its way into my cells, destroying them.

*ghhrn*

It's painful. I can hear myself grunting and grinding my teeth.

But I didn't get enough time to do anything.

My bones were fast under attack by the Spirit energy trying to penetrate every part of my body.

This time I almost screamed out loud, but before that could happen,

[High levels of stress detected.

Forcefully calming the host down.

Gamer's mind in full power.]

Just a second later I regained control over my body. The pain is still here. I can even see some parts where it's bleeding, but now I can ignore it.

Reacting fast I directed as much of the Spirit power as I could to the Hyakugou seal on my forehead and used anything left for "Creation Rebirth: Strength of hundred."

The effect was seen fast. My body started to heal all damages rapidly while the spirit power was being stored in my forehead.

The process continued for thirty minutes more after which I received a notification from the Game.
