11 The Chaos

Honestly, I don't want to be on the receiving end of the wrath behind that smile.

And as the saying goes "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", and a bonafide yandere at that.

So without risking my life I slipped the beans.

"He was this tall man that looked really like me, but his hair was a little funny and he had these weird things on his face too. I always talk to him in my dreams, and sometimes he comes when I'm awake but no one plays with him beside me.

It's like people don't see him.

He didn't say his name, instead, he said to call him Chaos, the Demon of Fuma.

I thought he would tell you, sorry mom, dad." I said all of this while perfectly imitating a child caught with his hand in a cookie jar, while at the same time making a sad face, showing concern for Chaos.

Honestly, when I see the results of my acting it makes me wonder, would I become as successful if I went for acting in the first place instead of business?

But then I remember every businessman IS an actor so I guess I did become an actor?

Well, food for thought.

At this point, my parents looked so on edge that I wouldn't be surprised if they just up and left to hunt the unknown guy who came into their adorable little boy's dream and played with him.

Totally normal and not pedo-like, right?

Well, that was part of the plan too, make it so the suspicion and attention are on someone else entirely.

"And he taught you how to fight son?" my father asked me while leaning a little bit more forward with a deep frown.

"He said I'm going to be his heir and become The Chaos God!!

Then he showed me how cool he was and said I could be even cooler if I became a super-strong god like him.

So I said yes and he taught me something he called Taijutsu." this way, coupled with my previous actions just portrays me as the still naive but smart kid who just wants to impress his parents.

*Nene Pov*

Listening to his last sentence things became a lot more clear for me.

There are only two possible answers.

First, my baby boy has been possessed by something else.

Second, he is chosen by a god to become his heir, having inherited a god position since birth. What is even more interesting is that the said god seems to be related to the Fuma clan somehow.

The first is not valid by much because he hasn't shown anything out of character at all.

Even his actions of forming a group were completely an expectation because he already has started some of his tactical lessons, and since birth, he was the kind to dream for the future instead of just playing around.

But if he truly is chosen as the heir of a god, a Chaos god at that, then...

*Moaning*

Chaos the Demon of Fuma? I never have heard of anything like that before, better to check the library of the clan and consult with the old ones.

But regardless of that.

The Fuma clan's future leader is going to be a god...

I don't know if I was successful because my parents were both eerily silent.

Well if you remove my mother's moaning.

Fuck that was strange, I was nervous inside, thinking if my plan worked or not, ready to use everything I have and run away at a moment's notice,

Then there was a moan.

Woman, I don't care if you're a yandere or not but please at least be mindful of the atmosphere!!

But if anything that made it easier to conclude I'm in a safe zone for now.

After some more seconds passed my father started talking, most likely not even getting what is going on in front of him.

I want to say I pity you, but do I?

I'm pretty sure if this was FATE I would be classified as Chaotic Neutral or Neutral Evil.

"Son, I think me and your mother should start explaining some things to you."

When he saw he had me and mother's attention, he continued,

"I'm sure you know that there is a hundred rank to spirit masters cultivation ranks in total.

What most common people think is that rank hundred is the principle, the end to all.

They couldn't be more wrong.

After reaching and passing the barrier in that rank, one would ascend past the boundary of the mortal world and become a God.

That person, this Chaos you speak of, is most likely a god who has chosen you to become his inheritor."

My mother then took the lead and said,

"It can be dangerous if other people were to find out honey, so be a good boy, and if someone, anyone, ever asked you about it just tell them it's a clan secret.

Okay?"

I took a pondering pose, looking like an adult contemplating all the information he received, just to stay in character.

But in truth, I was just having an inner celebration like none before. Like there is a ceremony up in my ass.

Flawless execution.

The plan went on without any problems, and now I can do just about anything and blame Kotaro (the original if you haven't figured out who Chaos is) for its unusual nature.

And it's not like I'm lying.

All of my current powers are from Kotaro, and I have seen it in "Dream", his memories do count as a sort of dream so meh, a half-truth.

"I understand.

Does this heir situation come with some kind of danger itself besides people's greed?"

Now to show the smart side that old Kotaro had.

I got bits and pieces of his memories coupled with a general understanding of his behavior from start, nothing much but it was enough for me to understand what to say and how to act.

And he was a smart child. a child nonetheless so I have to act both childish and smart, which is a hassle.

A hassle that I have to carry on and slowly leave behind to stay safe from a yandere mother who is insanely OP, and a clan full of strong, skilled assassins.

While I was having these thoughts, my father answered my question, seems like he is the more knowledgeable of the two in this regard.

"It could be.

Honestly unlike the Qian clan and by extension Spirit hall, we don't have a god inheritance test, and all of our knowledge is from the clan's spies in Spirit hall so we only have second-hand knowledge for now.

But you don't have to worry, we will help you take care of everything that comes between you and godhood, After all...

You are The Pride Of Fuma."

How many of you have guessed that the "mysterious grandpa" is Kotaro Fuma as god??

Well, he was regarded as many things in the Edo era, Demon, Chaos incarnate, Wind of Chaos, Demon of Fuma, An Entity beyond comprehension etcetera...
