When those words left Mai's mouth I just released a short sigh.
Compared to how much paperwork I have done daily in past this was nothing, but even one second of office work/paperwork is torturing.
My employees could attest to that.
Anyway, out of the little hassle I had with reading nothing wrong happened during my work, and I found some rather interesting talents/potential subordinates among the candidates that matched my requirements.
Honestly, it was a really hard choice. all of the people recruited in the clan are top-notch talents so choosing WAS difficult.
Just goes to show how powerful the Fuma clan is.
But fortunately, I'm already done with it.

As a master assassin (well technically) I'm rather impressed with how silently they managed to pull that.

[Affection/Reputation is for showing your relationship with other people/organizations.
If you want an example of how much each number indicates here it is:
0-10 for people who just have a good impression of you, but not to the point of bothering to think about you really
11-30 for those who consider you a friend, not a close one but a good one nonetheless
31-50 good friends, depending on their personality you could expect great help from them, but something special about 50 is it will give you a minor perk related to that person
51-70 are best friends and people who borderline love you
71-99 this is where things get serious, true love, strongest friendships, these things are here
100 is the maximum, the end of everything, people who reach this point will die sooner than lose you and you will get power for this.

What power could I get if say... Hela from marvel comics reaches 100 Affection, would I get death divinity or Asgardian physiology? the possibilities are endless.
'Okay, next question, how do I create skill from my masteries?' this is an important part of my plans, depending on my skills some details would differ.
[It's easy, just imagine what effect you want, its details and effects, choose a name, and I will create the skill. higher mastery results in boosted versions of the same skill, but take note that you should have the appropriate mastery and level, an amateur Healer can't bring back dead.]
This... This is awesome, honestly, it couldn't be any better.
With my Taijutsu and Ninjutsu at Legendary and master rank, I'm already going to have an amazing arsenal of skills.
And lastly, maybe most importantly.
'How do I level up? I noticed there wasn't anything like an experience bar or something similar in my status, and how do I increase my mastery?'
[There is an experience bar, but for seeing it you have to tap on your level. It will increase in relation to the level of enemies you kill, and by doing quests. each quest will give a percentage of EXP depending on its difficulty.
As for masteries, you have to ask for a mastery rank quest. it will contain several things you would have to achieve by using that specific mastery.]
Good, I was scared that it might be different.
With all of that out of the way, I can focus on my plans to make an alliance or better yet, absorb the rest of the major clans in my clan.
And as I thought previously the best option for start is Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda clan... Fuck that's a long-ass name if there is one.
I'll just call it seven treasures.
As I was saying before that chunni name distracted me, they are the best option because of three reasons.
First, they are the richest clan. and in a war, doesn't matter whether cold or not, money always comes first before supply and men.
Second, the seven treasure is best when it comes to supporting spirits. and for good reason too.
If my parents and clansmen have their backing during a fight then we would be ten steps ahead of our enemies. and I'm not exaggerating.
Third, the military department, they are the weakest of all major powers so if a fight breaks out we can easily subdue them.
But before that, there are other things that must be done.
Even though we can proceed with the first phase of my plan right now, there will be some losses for sure.
Best option for now is to bid our time, groom stronger members, grow in both PR and economy...
And absorb as many smaller clans or powerhouses as possible without making it obvious.
This part might be easier purely because of the Fuma clan's specialty in pulling the strings in the background and going unnoticed.
And I have a poisoned old man and his family for a starting point.
If I get to benefit from a hidden garden in between that would be perfect.

Hey guys, I'm back.
Soooo, there is two good news and a bad one.
Good news, my parents have completely recovered and fortunately it wasn't covid.
Bad news, I'm infected with whatever virus that was and it's not a tolerateable disease too, to boot it up I had migraine since I was born and now it's acting up.
second good news, I have 9 chaps ready, and I will release them daily till I get better so no more delays (I wanted to mass release them but now I can't write much so, really sorry).
