2 Who is Asura?

Jiang Chen waited outside to know about others results and it was almost evening by the time everyone finished the ceremony. Bai Mo got the best result with High earth cultivation technique with his attribute in water element. Most people in River-Spring city have an attribute towards the water. Of the 164 people tested that day almost 100 people got affinity towards water and earth being second best. Only Jiang Chen have an affinity for thunder while there were a couple more people with a fire affinity.

As Jiang Chen was leisurely walking home he saw many happy people it was the day of celebration.

Jiang Yue "But the problem persists with the Lightning attribute in while city only city lord mansion and Bai family have Lightning attribute martial techniques. They are very rare."

Jiang Yue "Price for obtaining them won't be low and I don't believe we will obtain a decent one either."

All the families monopolize their martial techniques generally very few times does this current situation happens.

Bai family mostly have water affinity and the current wife of Bai family patriarch who was from River Wood city being the Lightning attribute. They have the best collection of water attribute skills.

Shangguan families are wind attribute specialists and Su family earth.

City lord mansion has all kind of collections but they are not available for outsiders. If outsiders were to obtain them they have to pledge allegiance to city lord, Most common folks tend to go this way.

Jiang Chen knew what she was creating, the name of the sculpture is ASURA he was a fictional character Jiang Ming created to inspire Jiang Chen about the martial path he is a righteous king who never suffered a defeat. Jiang Ming even wrote books about ASURA they were tales sold for kids in their region. For others, it was just a tale but for Jiang Ming, it was the true martial path.

Jiang Chen patiently waited as Jiang Ming completed the sculpture. By the time it was completed Jiang Ming was covered in dust and dust but what she created was an awe-inspiring statue of Asura.

Jiang Ming "Chen'er it is my gift to you for your initiation." said proudly.

Jiang Chen looked silently at the Asura statue deeply he saw a figure draw his bow to the full length with the sure keen eyes giving a feeling of the blade behind the back Asura was carrying two spears on the back and there was special sword sheath hanging on his waist carrying three deathly swords. There was a quiver hanging on the other side of the waist. It was awe inspiring just looking at it and Jiang Ming had perfectly captured the aura of Asura. Just looking at the sculpture took Jiang Chen to a trance-like feeling.

Jiang Ming simply smiled seeing Jiang Chen's reaction. It took some time for Jiang Chen to come out of the trance.

Jiang Chen "Thank you, Aunt Ming."

Jiang Chen "Aunt I have heard father say that martial artist generally uses a single weapon or else they will stumble in their martial path. Why is Asura using I mean to see yourself is he an archer or a swordsman or spearmen?"

Jiang Ming "Hahaha who told you that one can't use multiple weapons. Who said Asura is a martial artist he is a Martial warrior true martial warrior. If you want to travel the path of greatness you should think beyond the rest."

Jiang Chen just nodded his head.

Jiang Ming "So how did the ceremony go."

Jiang Chen "Mid-level Mortal cultivation technique and duel affinity with thunder and fire."

Jiang Ming "Interesting you have an affinity with fire too. Good. Jiang Chen comes and meets me tomorrow we are going outside and start cultivating tonight."

As Jiang Chen left Jiang Ming saw the figure of Asura just giving a smirk.

Inside the room, Jiang Chen finished his dinner and was sitting in a meditative pose as he checked his memories for the cultivation techniques bestowed on him as all the memories related to the cultivation techniques surfaced he was silently inspecting it.
