Jiang Chen "It is a tough question, I mean it is lowest unit of energy known to me. You will understand when you cultivate using my methods."

Mo Qingcheng "Just explain roughly right."

Jiang Chen "With how much information I have it can be classified as lowest form of energy. If you take a bowl of water that can be considered as your heavenly energy then water droplet is heavenly strand. That is just a rough way to explain it. But each heavenly strand have equal energy. So the energy you absorb is bowl of water and what I absorb is like a drop of water."

Mo Qingcheng "Then you would be in disadvantage right?"

Jiang Chen "Not really .In starting you will definitely feel disadvantage but on more practice you can more easily absorb heavenly strands than heavenly energy.And heavenly strands are more easy to control than heavenly energy. Its advantage over other method is too vast. I am now a ninth stage body disciple but I don't think even an 9th stage martial Artist can match me in my control over heavenly energy/strands."

Mo Qingcheng "Then how much amount of heavenly energy or strands can a person store in his dantian."

Jiang Chen "That amount is basically same. Maximum energy that can be stored in dantian doesn't change based on whether you are absorbing heavenly strands or heavenly energy because they are basically same. We are just able to have a measure for it."

Mo Qingcheng "How many heavenly strands do you have in your dantian."

Jiang Chen "Mine is bit special case body refiner has 90000 strands of heavenly energy ,First stage Martial disciple have 900,000 heavenly strands and on each stage rise it will rise by 150,000,150,000,250,000,250,000,250,000,450000,450000,450,000 strands at each stage. so a normal 9th stage disciple will have over 3.3 million heavenly strands."

Mo Qingcheng was shocked hearing this number was it even human.

Mo Qingcheng "So how much should I have?I mean normal Martial Artists."

Jiang Chen "I believe around 33 million." he has no expression of shock it felt perfectly normal to him.

Mo Qingcheng "So I should have over 33 million strands right I am 3 rd stage Martial Artist?"

Jiang Chen "That all data was based on single attributed cultivators. I haven't met other dual cultivators so I don't know their data .But I guess they will have similar to mine."

Mo Qingcheng "How do that vary?"

Jiang Chen "Hmm. When I was body refiner I had 108000 strands and when I broke through to Martial disciple it was 1.08 million and now I have over 4.5 million strands. I believe if my calculations are correct you should have over 54 million strands of heavenly energy."

Mo Qingcheng "So my reserves were one and half times normal no doubt I lasted for too long ."

Jiang Chen "Wife we can speak later Tusked elephants are coming. I will take a short break and come to you."

Mo Qingcheng was thinking on what all Jiang Chen told her yet.

Jiang Chen already sheathed his sword and took out his spear to face the tusked elephant.Tusked elephants were earth attributed beast and their defense is superior to all the beasts available in this mountain range. So Jiang Chen choose his Thunder attributed spear to fight. Well that was foolish on his part.

Mo Qingcheng "Jiang Chen use your ice attribute techniques even light attribute works . Lightning will not have much affect on Tusked Elephant."

Jiang Chen "I know . But I am fighting with their advantage only then can I learn right. Tusked elephants have 7 weaknesses. Its two eyes just behind them by one foot it has its massive brain . Its Mouth also leads to its brain. Other four weaknesses can be exploited by blunt weapons. I don't use them. Even though they are earth attribute beasts it can not survive my spear technique when it reaches its brain directly.

Mo Qingcheng understood the reasoning behind it Jiang Chen was planning on swift killing tricks. Even though he has both ice and light attribute skills they are both sword skills and his only mid range technique is his spear technique of thunder attribute. Jiang Chen is not checking his capabilities but trying to improve his precision to control his skills.

Just as she was thinking that first tusked elephant has fallen to ground its left eye was stabbed and bleeding. Jiang Chen was already targeting next elephant. Jiang Chen took over three moves to kill it stabbing through its mouth and it was charred when it came out. Jiang Chen felt more challenging fighting Tusked elephant over wind gorilla. Tusked elephants are way stronger than wind gorillas and then they use their trunks to parry the spears away and try to counter attack Jiang Chen using their tusks as weapons. So Jiang Chen has to be on high alert he should use every skill he know of spears to counter attack and his movement skills.Killing each Tusked elephant felt like killing a a whole pack of wind gorillas. Jiang Chen was knocked out few times back and even sustained few injuries. By the time all 50 tusked elephants died Jiang Chen's spear was dyed in red and his white robe was tattered and he sustained few bruises .

Jiang Chen sent all their corpses to Natal palace.

Mo Qingcheng "Jiang Chen even a 7th stage Martial artist will not try to do what you did now. Fighting a whole herd of tusked elephants all alone.Let alone succeed."

Jiang Chen "May be true but it truly is a great fight .There were many close calls .Their leader is also very cunning it almost killed me twice ." Jiang Chen was panting and trying to regain his breathing.

Mo Qingcheng "Which one was leader?" she knew there should have been a leader in the group but she couldn't identify it."

Jiang Chen "9th one.It is peak stage one beast it would have broken through in maybe a month or so."

Jiang Chen "Yes were speaking of heavenly energy strands right."

Mo Qingcheng "Then about attribute energy."

Jiang Chen "They are as simple ,attribute energy is heavenly energy that has been baptized by Attribute seed. this attribute energy can only be stored in certain range of seed,that is just the limit of attribute energy one can store."

Mo Qingcheng "What are its limits."

Jiang Chen "General 1st stage martial disciples have 54000 strands of attribute energy and increases by 6000 strands for first three stages then 7500 and 12000 strands for last three stages and reach over 120000 strands in total."

Mo Qingcheng "Then what would be our reserves."

Jiang Chen "Hmm I have 84000 strands for single attribute and you can make up next right."

Mo Qingcheng made a quick calculation only one word came out "MONSTER." its over 500000 strands in total. It is like four times the normal single attribute cultivators.

Jiang Chen "I can't make a guess but I believe you should have around one and half time the reserves of single attribute cultivator."

Mo Qingcheng "But I am nowhere near a monster as you. Heavens are truly unfair. You will surely get hit by tribulation." she cursed him that was truly unfair for normal cultivators to compare to him.

Jiang Chen just chuckled they can easily ignore the difficulty to raise in cultivation with these many attributes. They have to gain certain comprehension in all their attributes to advance to next stage. Jiang Chen already gained some comprehension in Fire, ice and lightning attributes if others have reached small perfection in one move they would already broken through to Martial Artist stage after reaching peak of Martial Disciple. But he is still struck in Martial Disciple stage. He hasn't gained any understanding in his unknown attribute he don't even know its name then his understandings in space and time attributes are not enough for him to reach small perfection in any way. Then he just started practicing his light attribute skills.

He need to comprehend something about his unknown attribute to reach next stage now his space and time attributes needed just little time to comprehend them .So he should get to isolation and spend as much time he can to comprehend both. His Light attribute won't affect either it is just matter of time for him to reach small perfection in other two moves. He don't have any idea on how to improve in his unknown attribute . What can he do about it. That was his biggest secret he didn't even share it with Mo Qingcheng . At least he has some way to comprehend his space and time attributes through his Natal Palace and time domain and what can he do about his chaos attribute.

Just as Jiang Chen was thinking new wave of beasts came this time it was wind attributed wolves and a huge pack of nearly thousand beasts and Jiang Chen immediately used his light attributed moves this time he started practicing his second move Radiance of the moon.

Jiang Chen "I need movement techniques. I guess I have to wait for another few months. I need to buy all kinds of movement techniques and few arrow techniques."

Jiang Chen "I don't have any problem in my offensive skills but my movement skills are lacking far behind my other skills."

It took longer time to hunt down these beasts and by the end he was sure he reached small perfection in second move.

Just reaching a small perfection is this hard and to reach Great perfection in any move it would be like hundreds of time tougher than this.That is why not many are able to reach Martial Warrior stage only city lord was able to reach such stage .It has lot to do with Great floods City lord being a lightning attribute cultivator he was first choice to block as many water attribute beasts as possible so he fought more than anyone in the entire river spring city. He participated in fights of 4 great floods and even then he reached martial warrior just in last great flood. He reached great perfection in 1lightning tribulation technique . He could execute that move just like that it would almost feel like he is just moving his hand.

One reach grand perfection in a move when they could perform the move against anything perfectly. It meant Jiang Chen can use his burning fist anytime and when he hits a stationary target he always gets a perfect full energy move .But when his target is moving he would not be able to get his best strength as everything changes when target is moving closer and he would reach before his heavenly energy is fully ignited so move would be only half its full strength. That is reason Jiang Chen can't use his powerful moves often as they will not reach full power when hitting a moving target so he tried to disorient the opponent first to launch a full blow attack at now stationary target. As first move uses least amount of energy everyone follows similar style Jiang Chen is not exception .

If Jiang Chen reached great perfection he can knock others in similar range to him just using his Burning fist. So to reach great perfection one has to undergo lot of fighting experience and should be able to make changes in ratio in a moments notice in fights and implement them. That is reason most people have signature moves .These are the moves they have reached maximum perfection at. For Jiang Chen there is no such move as signature move, almost all his moves are equally effective and reached same level of comprehension.

Jiang Chen was waiting for other beasts to come by but few of the beasts have smelled the thick blood in front of them and changed the direction and went in another direction to avoid it.

Jiang Chen didn't pursue them and decided it is time to go home. His gains in this camp are huge very huge.

Jiang Chen decided to use these four months to maximum and he should reach Martial Artist in these four months.

Jiang Chen "Goals for these four months space,time and unknown attribute some comprehension on each of them. I should learn remaining three techniques (Blizzard storm ,Light spear and white dragon palm ) after I reach Martial Artist stage."

Jiang Chen "How did Qingcheng reach martial artist stage with out any light attribute skills with her?"
