39 Meeting with Bai Mo

Jiang Chen "I heard the consumption of other beasts is not as high as this."

Mo Qingcheng "Our beasts are special also they did not form their demonic core yet?"

Jiang Chen "True. Once they form a demonic core we don't need to supply them that many beast cores as now they can uses their own energy. But that process takes too long. With more powerful the beast is more slow the process is."

Mo Qingcheng "Jiang Chen how is you practice going on?"

Jiang Chen "It is good I guess .I got to understand basics of the technique. Now I have to get understanding on the main core of the conversion process it won't take long luckily I already know an ice attribute technique as reference."

Mo Qingcheng "Which one is more powerful?"

Jiang Chen "My spear techniques seem more powerful than sword techniques but there is no much difference. Sword techniques are more relied on swiftness and this technique on utilization of my power carefully."

Mo Qingcheng "Which weapon do you think is more powerful Jiang Chen?"

Jiang Chen "There is no particular answer to that question . In the end it all depends on wielder himself. But spears hold a particular advantage over swords."

Jiang Chen "There is one particular popular opinion around , There could be a week sword but there never have been a useless spear?"

Jiang Chen "Swords are highly sensitive so they need a good sword to perform better but that is not the case for spears even a week grade spear is more powerful than a week grade sword."

Jiang Chen "Even though swords are more popular but still it is spears that are weapon of choice for many major armies."

Mo Qingcheng "Why did you say I am not suitable for Spear technique?"

Jiang Chen "It was my opinion then, I am not sure for now but I still believe that you would do better with a sword than spear."

Mo Qingcheng "Are you going to reveal that you can use spear techniques sooner?"

Jiang Chen "May be everyone believe that I don't have a close combat lightning technique so they might try to use this as an opportunity. I will have to reveal it some time. I would have preferred to hide it but there was some error in selection there of the three sword techniques I know they are loop sided by attributes I want to hide ,same in lightning. I only have four techniques to show to world and among them two are long ranged techniques one created by me other two fiery fist and blazing sun are fire attribute techniques. Either I have to learn a lightning attribute sword technique or reveal this spear technique."

Mo Qingcheng "I guess revealing would be better a new sword technique it will cause trouble for even you with your high comprehensions."

Jiang Chen "True there are already 12 battle techniques in my possession I don't want another one there along with them. It will cause troubles in the future."

Mo Qingcheng "Normally people would at most practice 3-4 techniques your already practiced techniques reach 8 ha ha."

Mo Qingcheng "Jiang Chen you already met the requirement of Martial soldier realm right you will not have trouble breaking through.I believe you only have to learn one more technique each you will not have a problem there right?"

Jiang Chen "You are forgetting big three here , I have to create offensive technique of my unknown attribute ."

Mo Qingcheng "I know about that what are you planning for it?"

Jiang Chen "Nothing as of yet,I formed an idea but to create it I have to enter Myriad Rivers sect and study more on formations."

Mo Qingcheng "Alchemy too?"

Jiang Chen "Yes alchemy too?" since Mo Qingcheng can't come outside she can only learn from watching Jiang Chen so Jiang Chen has to study alchemy too.

Mo Qingcheng "What are you going to study there in Myriad Sect your weapon skills are already very good ,so you are not going to take them right."

Jiang Chen "I haven't planned yet for now only formations ,Alchemy and weapon making I have to learn for sure."

Mo Qingcheng "Aren't there any restrictions on what all you can learn?"

Jiang Chen "I guess there are few even though we are free to learn what ever we like there should be some restrictions also I can't be taking classes on multiple aspects at a time?"

Mo Qingcheng "Yes that is a problem."

Jiang Chen then spent some time with his Primordial Roc which was an obedient bird it is still an infant yet it is half as tall as Jiang Chen who was 6 feet tall already.

The journey was very comfortable all Jiang's concentrated on their cultivation only Jiang Chen was freely walking around the ship and enjoying time on the deck watching the scenarios.

Jiang Chen "I am not sure about that. Previously I was confident but after seeing this booklet I somehow feel more threatened."

Ning'er was shocked hearing this words "You knew about it?"

Jiang Chen "Of course I know both Bai family and Ha family have made long plans to eliminate me and use my death as a method to bring my father to take action."

Jiang Chen "I don't know what Shangguan family did Ha family withdrew from this conspiracy Ha Ling personally told me everything and promised on heavens that Ha Family withdrew from it."

Ning'er "This has nothing to do with Shangguan family ,they are smart they understood that Jiang family would have prepared for that. Unlike some idiots." she cursed her own sister in mind even the most powerful City lord faction withdrew from conspiracy and Jiang Chen himself know about Bai family making attempts and Ning family involvement is Bing'er continued sticking her nose she will destroy Shangguan Family instead.

Ning'er "So Jiang family already know about it? How are you going to deal with Bai family.

Jiang Chen just smiled "It has already been three weeks since we left River Spring city. Also there was no communication method to communicate to ships so we don't know about what happened in River Spring city."

Ning'er felt dread as she heard Jiang Chen speaking so calmly. She felt more terrible in her heart.

Ning'er "Do you think something happened to Bai family?"

Jiang Chen just smiled at that question "There are now only three major noble families in River Spring City now and there might have been a resolution between families already .And Ha Ling is going to come along with me to travel so Shangguan Tong have 80% chance of becoming next city lord."Shangguan Tong is only brother of Ning'er and Bing'er and he is the next patriarch of Shangguan Family also a genius with low Earth grade technique tested few days back in initiation ceremony,

Ning'er "What this many changes happened already and how do you know about it?"

Jiang Chen "We don't have methods to communicate but Ha Ling have them he told me what happened in the city."

Shangguan Ning'er "So Tong'er has chance to become next city lord .How did this happen all of a sudden why are we kept in secret."

Jiang Chen "My family didn't want younger generation to be involved in such slaughter and wanted to leave Bai family with a way to live. Now it all depends on Bai Mo whether his family survives or not."

Shangguan Ning'er felt dread at this Bai family is in a brink of extinction and she was not sure about Shangguan Families situation there.

Ning'er "Jiang Chen can you promise me that you will leave a way for Shangguan family?" she dared to ask it.

Jiang Chen " It all depends on you and Bing'er right." Jiang Chen's tone was very stern.

Ning'er "Jiang Chen will you promise me you will leave a way."

Jiang Chen "If you don't get involved with them I will sure leave a way."

Ning'er "You already knew about it?" she asked shocked and sweat was coming from her forehead.

Jiang Chen "Ning'er you may have noticed that I favored Shangguan family a lot than other families I helped you more often than others. I was always hoping that you withdraw from this conspiracy. I know you love me and want to protect me, but same can't be said about your sister .For Shangguan Family to continue existing you should separate yourself from the pests ."

Jiang Chen "I will not kill your sister if I found her involved but you have to promise not reveal what happened in the River Spring city out. You can convince her in any way possible not revealing that I already know."

Ning'er "Jiang Chen please ." she was teary eyed she know from Jiang Chen's confidence he will have no problem killing the Martial Artists sent by their family. Most families sent only Martial Artists , Martial Soldiers are high ranking members so they would not be involved in this matters of protection also the only Martial Soldier sent by Shangguan family is from Ning'er's faction they sacrificed on numbers to get a Soldier so that Jiang Chen have more chances of survival."

Ning'er "You will not kill her right?"

Jiang Chen "I will not kill her for your sake. I can promise on heavens if you want me to."

Ning'er "I trust you." she was teary eyed.

Ning'er "But Bai family is still a threat right they sent two Martial Soldiers here and you only have one with you."

Jiang Chen "There are five elders of Ha family with us. Also Bai Mo is not going to make a move directly. They know if they get active involvement no one will trust them in city. So Ning family is making move in background."

Jiang Chen "Ning family is already in our vicinity ,their ship is ten miles before ours it is just we can't see it properly from here."

Ning'er "So when is it happening."

Jiang Chen "You want to watch the fun too?"

Jiang Chen "I believe Bai Mo will make a visit to my ship in two days he will invite me to an adventure trip on Wood islands. Wood islands are just two days away from us."

Jiang Chen "It is one of scheduled stops so ,Bai Mo will invite me to the hunting trip along ,since Wood islands is designated level 2 Hunting spot martial Soldiers will not be able to enter it so they will believe that I won't be protected by martial soldiers from city lord faction and my family . There it would take few twists and turns and they will separate me from main group and I will fell into hands of Ning families martial Artists who entered the area before us."

Ning'er "I believe even your family group would also make move then only."

Just as they were speaking Meera knocked the door.

Meera "Young master Young master Bai Mo want to meet you."

Jiang Chen "Send him in."

Jiang Chen "Not tomorrow he is meeting today itself." he said smiling at Shangguan Ning'er

Shangguan Ning'er "Should I go or be with you now."

Jiang Chen "What do you want to do?"

Ning'er " I don't think I can convince them," she said dejected but realized few losses are required for their family to teach them a lesson and Jiang Chen promised he will not kill Shangguan Bing'er so it is good for few of them to die. She didn't realize Jiang Chen only promised not to kill Shangguan Bing'er but what is actually awaiting her is worse.

Bai Mo "Brother Jiang seems to be having a pretty good time?" he said looking at Shangguan Ning'er and Jiang Chen holding each others hands.

Jiang Chen "Not much brother Bai seems to be even more energetic." Jiang Chen spoke out laughing.In eyes of Shangguan Ning'er there is only pity for Bai Mo. He don't have a background anymore.
