29 Meeting of Major Families

After Jiang Chen came out of Pill Palace he saw Shangguan Ning'er coming towards him.

Shangguan Ning'er "Elder brother Jiang what happened inside pill palace?"

Jiang Chen "Nothing much I met that genius alchemist and told him about that lightning and then graded my alchemy skills. Did they question you people too?"

Shangguan Ning'er "Yes. Elder Brother Mo and other seniors responded to them and told them everything we know."

Jiang Chen could see some displeased expression in her face.

Jiang Chen "Sister Ning'er did they misbehave with you or Shangguan family?"

Shangguan Ning'er could see that Jiang Chen was concerned about her "It is nothing ,it is just father said these people are responsible for the beast wave that happened in the mountains."

Jiang Chen "What do you mean by that? Are you certain about it."

Shangguan Ning'er "After we came back from the camp father sent some elders to rescue other stranded members of the family."

Jiang Chen "Yes patriarch told me about that?"

Shangguan Ning'er "Second uncle noticed that there was strange chemical mixture in some area of the forest that drove all the beasts mad and they were escaping from the poison in it and they came in our direction."

Jiang Chen "Did you people ask them for explanation did both parties reach out any agreement?"

Shangguan Ning'er "No they blatantly denied and their genius was too disrespectful to father. Since he was an alchemist no one said a thing directly and we complied to them."

Jiang Chen "Is that person dressed in golden robes with shoulder length black hair he should be little hefty ."

Shangguan Ning'er "Yes do you know him."

Jiang Chen "So it was him again. He challenged me to life and death duel three days later. I will take care of him."

Shangguan Ning'er was surprised hearing this why did an alchemist stooped to life and death duel with Jiang Chen there would be too many people ready to do his bidding.

Shangguan Ning'er "Why did this happen ? Isn't he 3rd stage Martial Artist ?Did you accept it?"

Jiang Chen "I am not completely sure either what is running in his mind to challenge me to duel that to life and death duel. I accepted it or else I will loose face of River Spring city."

Shangguan Ning'er felt dread hearing this she knew Jiang Chen can jump ranks in a fight but she never knew his limits.

Shangguan Ning'er "Are you confident?"

Jiang Chen "He will not pose a problem to me. Why are you here?"

Shangguan Ning'er "I heard you came to Pill Palace so I want to meet you." she said blushing.

Jiang Chen "It is good that you are here . I have completed my report on all the martial techniques I have read till now. Can you let patriarch know that I am planning for a meeting tomorrow."

Shangguan Ning'er "I will tell father? Where are you planning the meeting" she was very happy hearing this they have waited for long about it.

Jiang Chen" I will speak with my father and second uncle and then send official invitation. Would it be alright if my Jiang Family host the event ."

Shangguan Ning'er "Only Jiang family can act as host now and also since you are there it would be fine."

As planned Jiang Chen met his father and told him about everything and about the reports too.

Jiang Yue "About that life and death duel ?"

Jiang Chen "It is fine he would not be my match."

Mo Qingcheng "Are you about the fight with Bo Wen. You could do this meeting even after the fight."

Jiang Chen"You know right I am in tight schedule only two months left now for dead line."

Jiang Chen "You didn't ask me how I made all pills at a time."

Mo Qingcheng "I would have asked later when I change mu cultivation?"

Jiang Chen "Is your mind still not clear?"

Mo Qingcheng "It is for now? I will go to secluded cultivation after your duel with Bo Wen. You planned that show for me right?"

Mo Qingcheng "Hmm. Jiang Chen do you think some rift is formed between Shangguan Family and Cangtok Pill Palace."

Jiang Chen "I am not sure about that. But Shangguan family would sure be angry at them. Loosing 20 people from young generation will make anyone angry I heard there were three with mortal grade cultivation techniques."

Mo Qingcheng understood the gravity of the situation now even though Mortal Rank techniques are inferior to Earth rank but they are still considered as geniuses only. There would only be one in thousand people who get Earth rank techniques while there would be only tens of people with Mortal rank techniques, There would be hundreds with human rank techniques while bulk would only have common grade techniques.

Among hundred and eight people in younger generation of Shangguan Family only Shangguan Twins got earth rank techniques while while there were dozen or so with Mortal rank cultivation techniques and rest all are in human and common grade techniques. Only those people with high Human cultivation techniques are considered geniuses and Shangguan family lost three of the people with Mortal ranks cultivation technique. So they lost three of their top twenty geniuses they would be very angry at this but they can't start a fight now else they will loose big game.

Next day at Jiang family store all main members of the Jiang family were gathered there Jiang Yue and Jiang Yun were sitting in the main seat and tables were arranged for all the noble families. One by one representatives came from every major family.

From Shangguan family Shangguan Ming came along with their first elder Shangguan Feng and both twins were there with them.

From Bai family both Patriarch Bai came along with his wife and Bai Mo.

From city lord family their ancestor came along with first elder and Ha Ling.

From Su family Su family patriarch came along with his both kids.

After few minutes Jiang Chen entered in his white robes with his sword hanging on his back.

Jiang Chen "Sorry for the delay I was making final minute preparations."

Jiang Chen then took out over fifty think books from his Jade belt.

Jiang Chen "I am happy that respected elders came here upon request from the junior .I hope I don't disappoint seniors."

Jiang Chen then placed each book on their respective tables the lot of City lord table was so huge Jiang Chen placed over a dozen books on their table.

Jiang Chen "This is the main report that belonged to techniques of each family . In this report I have mentioned about each of the techniques inherent weaknesses I used three types of cultivators as reference calculated fighters , ...." Jiang Chen explained about reports basically on how to read it .

They were all shocked that Jiang Chen covered over hundred aspects on each technique and his report contained so many details that which some of the seniors even considered is not needed but on Jiang Chen's explanation they understood how wrong they were.

Su family patriarch "Nephew Jiang your report covered all details needed and it was even more impressive than what we expected."

Jiang Chen "It is not completed yet there are few more matters that need to be discussed these are more important."

Jiang Chen "This matter is important for Ha Family ,Bai Family, Su family, Shangguan Family , My Jiang family , Mo family and Long family ."
