7 Martial Techniques

Aunt Ming "Good power. If you add little bit of heavenly energy it can easily kill a 1st stage Martial Disciple."

Jiang Chen just smiled in response he know that his Aunt would never be satisfied with just that one, she held high expectations on him. If it was any other person they would speak about him breaking through to Martial Disciple but his Aunt didn't even bat a lid about it.

She got down from her horse cart as she pulled the clothe covering the items in it. Jiang Chen found three metal statues there. They were dummies for him to test.

She placed them in different positions separating them by few hundred meters .

Jiang Ming "Chen'er I want you to shoot the left eye of the third statue first ,then you should shop the right arm of the second statue followed by an arrow to the right arm of the first statue ..."

She gave him 28 tasks to accomplish similarly. The tasks were very easy to him but she was not checking on it but his control of power under pressure .He has to complete all the tasks in three breaths of time. He could easily shatter the statue using his first arrow itself but once it happens he would not be able to accomplish the remaining tasks. It was tricky but it only challenged Jiang Chen a bit.

He has to employ everything he learned in all these years ,he is showcasing everything he learned in last five and half years in a span of three breaths.

But it was easy peasy for him perfectly showcasing his skills. By the time he was finished there were mutilated pieces of statue in place of statues.

Aunt Ming "You have reached your objectives clearly. Your results was even better than I expected your control of strength is commendable.." there was a smile in Aunt Ming's face while speaking that.

Jiang Chen "Then can I leave this place now." even though Jiang Chen loved training here and was well adjusted here but he still misses being with people for five years he was all alone except for his aunts visit once a while. He craved to go home.

Aunt Ming "I wouldn't stop you from coming home. I will leave it to you for you to decide when you come home." saying that Aunt Ming passed few books to him there were total of 9 books in the stock .

Aunt Ming "Chen'er this is my last contribution for you from here my responsibility as your guardian is finished from here on you will tread your own path." said in a serious manner.

Aunt Ming "I will give half an hour for you to make your decision and ask your doubts."

Jiang Chen slowly opened the books given to him by Aunt Ming they were all martial techniques.

Jiang Chen was shocked to find such high level techniques before him there was an earth ranked one too. As he glance at the final book he almost collapsed on the ground .It was heavenly technique. Unlike the previous ones it was not a combat technique. But a special technique that improves ones eye abilities.

It was an heaven ranked skill called Heavenly Gods Eye technique it was a light attribute technique that improves vision by several fold.It is a heaven rank one.

How did his aunt get hold of it. Thinking that he looked at his aunt in horror. Each of this techniques is devastating by name itself.

Eight Martial Techniques among them one was a earth ranked one while remaining seven are Mortal ranked and lowest grade was a mid mortal ranked one. As Jiang Chen was looking at them in shock.

Jiang Ming "These techniques should be enough for you until you reach Martial General level. You don't need many Earth ranked techniques even if you get it would be useless as only Martial General can fully showcase the might of Earth level techniques. By the time you reach Martial General stage second floor would be accessible to you and you will have access to even better skills of your family even the lowest would be Earth Ranked one."

It felt like thunder struck upon Jiang Chen hearing this it took him few moments to comprehend what Jiang Ming said to him.

Jiang Chen "My family!" asked puzzled.

Jiang Ming " Chen'er I know you already have some suspicions and if I am not wrong you already opened your Natal Palace so there is no point hiding from you."

Jiang Chen " Where are they ? My real parents?" then at second thought he asked "How are they?" why would they leave him to some one else if everything was fine .They didn't abandon him he was sure of it or else why would they go through construction of his Natal Palace.

Jiang Ming "They are sure fine . You are too special your presence threatens many so they are not sure about your safety with them so they have to hide it from everyone about you. You will cross paths with them in the future ."

Jiang Chen "Is it about that .... " Jiang Chen didn't speak about it intentionally ,he knew Aunt Ming sure knew about it.

Jiang Ming just nodded.

Jiang Chen "So who are you exactly?"

Jiang Ming just smiled "Brat even though I am not your real family I am still your aunt and my brother is no less a father to you. So forget about this matter when things progress you will know it yourself."

Jiang Ming " Take care of my brother."

Jiang Chen "Aunt aren't you going home with me?"

Jiang Ming "Well I have somewhere else to go. I may not be able to come back freely again."

Jiang Chen's eyes brightened hearing that words he could make a wild guess where she was going.

Jiang Chen "Aunt Ming can I follow you for certain distance."

Jiang Ming nodded her head she didn't want to part with him too. She has taken care of him ever since he was born she has carried from far distance place to hear on her own arms and raised him from an infant ,how could she easily part with him. Even when he was here in the training she had observed him from distance . She know after she go this time it would take long for her to see this boy ever again and she would not be there for him from now on. She gladly agreed to it.

As Jiang Chen walked beside her he was shy and silent he remembered everything his aunt ever told him she was the one who doted him the most and also the one disciplined him the most.

As they walked side by side they walked to the core of the forest . They encountered a pair of Blue Moon wolves .They were Rank one demonic beasts local to River spring forest they earth attribute beasts abundant in this forest. Jiang Chen for some reason felt to do it .

He took out his Metal bow and nooked an arrow to it drawing it fully shot towards the wolves the arrow struck the first wolf and it collapsed on the ground as it was struck by such force and other wolf tried to run in panic but it got struck by an arrow too. Soon after that it was struck by second arrow.

Jiang Ming was not surprised by this action and was analyzing his actions. Killing a demonic beast was a common thing. But she came to sudden realization that these two wolves were Jiang Chen's first kills.

Jiang Chen slowly walked towards them and using a knife he slowly plucked out the arrows and extracted the demonic cores of the two wolves.

Then he extended them to Aunt Ming "Aunt Ming can you pass it them." he said extending two arrows and demonic cores.

Jiang Chen knew it looked so silly his parents were easily able to provide cores of such rare beast ,which was like a taboo attribute and he was sure that demonic core was no less than 10th stage that too multiple of them. An 1st stage earth ranked core was nothing to them but for some reason Jiang Chen decided to do it .

Aunt Ming just smiled and stored them very carefully as very precious objects and then patted his head.

Aunt Ming "It is time for me to leave." as Aunt Ming said that a huge crane landed behind her , Jiang Chen was shocked seeing this but he calmed himself and realized he has millions of more things to be shocked in the future he can't show that stupid expression every time. It was a wind attribute crane it was minimum a 7th rank demonic beast.

As Jiang Chen was calming himself seeing this Aunt Ming mounted on the crane and flew away on her beast looking at the boy for final time.

Jiang Chen slowly walked back to the valley . He decided to stay for few days and head back home. He decided to learn one of the fire techniques before going home . He calmed himself as he took Fiery Fist Technique from the stock and places all the remaining books in the palace. Now there was a horse cart in the valley which his aunt left behind.

As Jiang Chen sat down and was preparing to study the manual. High above in the sky Jiang Ming was moving on her white crane there was a sudden disturbance and another bird came flying side by side to it. Above the other crane a huge man was sitting on it looking at him Jiang Ming just nodded her head and he nodded his understanding this.

Jiang Ming "I know you are not supposed to help him in any way, but you still can help him indirectly."

"I know how much I can involve. He is after all my families young master." saying that he parted ways .
