80 Entering the Nether Island

Soon a level two beast was brought to the arena next to the elder's hall.

"Tusked Elephant!"

Elder "Jiang Chen, if you can kill it I will let you enter the training ground." elder spoke sternly. Tusked elephant(We have encountered it previously, Jiang Chen uses them to perfect his lightning attribute spear techniques.)

Deacon "Jiang Chen, the tusked elephant is earth attributed beast, its strength is in its defense and aggressive power. You better be careful."

Jiang Chen just chuckled at this, even Mo Qingcheng was smirking remembering an old incident. When Jiang Chen killed a complete herd of them using his lightning attributes spear technique, just for training.

Mo Qingcheng "Jiang Chen, they are underestimating you too much. A single tusked elephant will not challenge you much?"

Jiang Chen "Wife, this one is a level 2 beast. It is a good opportunity for NIGHT to shine."

Jiang Chen twisted his hibernation ring as Night came out from it. Night pretty much hated to be inside the hibernation ring, it wanted to roam around freely and it is not interested in going to Natal Palace. Immediately after it was summoned it noticed the huge opponent in front of it. Its battle instinct was already awakened now.

Elder just waited for things to progress, his only condition was to kill the tusked elephant. He was quite surprised to see the Horse beast in front of Jiang Chen.

Elder "Jiang Chen is it really the Nightmare beast?"

Jiang Chen just nodded his head and placed his palms on NIGHT forehead and directed the fire attribute energy of Night in form of a sharp horn.

Jiang Chen then stepped out of the arena leaving the two beasts to faceoff.

Elder "Jiang Chen are you that confident in that beast of yours, I would like to remind you that particular tusked elephant is actually the leader of its herd. It is smarter and powerful than a regular tusked elephant.

Jiang Chen "Elder, you don't know anything about my beast. It killed over two hundred cultivators in its life till now. Nightmare beasts are one of the smartest beasts found in this continent. Also, I trained it in combat."

Just as Jiang Chen spoke there was a huge sound and as they saw what happened inside the arena Tusked Elephant was already breathing its last breath.

Both elder and deacon were shell shocked seeing this, it took down tusked elephant just in few breaths of time, it was no challenge at all.

Elder "Jiang Chen, I heard it that the capability of Nightmare beast is almost similar to its trainer. They are always as strong as their master."

Jiang Chen "It is a bit exaggeration, how can humans compare to the beast in terms of power. Also, Nightmare beasts are said to have smartness proportional to that of humans."

Elder "That is in case of others, I don't think you will fit that bill. You actually tamed that beast by yourself."

Jiang Chen "Elder I was just lucky."

Elder just smiled at this. His heart was beating mad seeing NIGHT, it took out the tusked elephant in just a couple of breaths, they didn't even see how the fight proceeded as he was speaking with Jiang Chen then. Its speed, precision, and power all are quite high level to accomplish this.

Jiang Chen didn't speak much over this, NIGHT killed over 50 level two beasts already. It experienced an impossible to win the battle and came out of it victorious.

If Jiang Chen leaves it alone it will kill all the beasts in the training area.

Jiang Chen "Elder, can I enter the training ground now?"

Elder "You can. But be careful about your mission. Many inner sect disciples and elders came to find the solution but no one was able to find the answer. Whatever it is it is dangerous and intelligent and has good judgment on what is dangerous to it."

Jiang Chen "Elder I will be careful, even I am curious to know what it is that could trouble elder that much."

Elder "Jiang Chen, we lost tens of disciple to it. Many of your seniors lost their lives trying to find about it."

Jiang Chen "Elder I have NIGHT with me, it is darkness attribute beast and its instincts are very sharp, it will get me out if anything is suspicious."

Jiang Chen said as he jumped upon NIGHT.

Soon, man and beast combo were already inside the second zone.
