17 Damsel in Distress

Jiang Chen followed the troop of Shangguan family members silently he was observing everyone and trying to gauge the strength of all the eight Martial Artist/fighters. Having reached third level of Heavenly god's eye technique has too many advantages of itself.

Jiang Chen already reached small perfection in Burning fist ,Blazing fist and Blasting fist . Then there is blade of east ,west and noon ,followed by three sword moves of ice and three moves from lightning spear technique and Earth ranked move lightning tribulation technique.If he used all his skills it would be a massacre for Shangguan family disciples.

Jiang Chen chuckled as he formed a imaginary battle plan to make a move on them (well he is not making a move as of now.)

Shangguan Ning'er "You seem very excited?"

Jiang Chen "Yes even though I have trained individually never tried hunting Demonic beasts previously . Now I am very excited to showcase my skills for full spectrum."

Jiang Chen said in ecstatic tone.

Hearing to Jiang Chen's words one of the Martial Artist chuckled.His name is Shangguan Mo he is the leader of the camp today he is already 25 years and yet could only reach 2nd stage martial artist he was considered a trash among Shangguan family but still he is strongest in younger generation of Shangguan family well he was born earliest of them all .

Shangguan Mo "Jiang Chen have you seen a demonic beast ever closely."

Jiang Chen thought about those 23 demonic beasts he killed and two wolves he shot and sent their demonic cores to his parents and said "No I haven't seen an alive beast closely." Oh yes I shot them with my awesome archery skills.They were dead by the time I went close by.'

Jiang Chen spoke in a dejected tone speaking last part to himself.

Few disciple burst to laughter hearing this they have already been to couple of training camps before so they had first hand experience.

Shangguan Mo "Even though 1st rank demonic beasts are considered equal to martial disciples but their strength is above Martial disciples. It would not be easy to hunt them down individually."

Shangguan Mo "Jiang Chen I have heard you are good at strategizing and planning .How would you face a wind gorilla if you see it."

Jiang Chen was silent for a while then spoke "Wind gorilla is a terrible mixture of both strength and agility if I found one I would keep maximum distance from it and use my arrow to strike its leg paw first and then use my i lightning tribulation on it .Even it won't die it would be no less after taking that move." Jiang Chen spoke that and took out his River Moon wooden bow and nooked it with an arrow.

Shangguan Mo was surprised hearing this it was most simple and effective way to deal with it.

Shangguan Mo "Ha it would be easy to say but when you face the wind gorilla you wouldn't be able to make the shot when facing with its agility."

Jiang Chen then released his arrow everyone was puzzled on why Jiang Chen is doing that just at that moment they heard a deafening roar from the distance and Jiang Chen nooked his second arrow and and released it and there was a huge lightning struck the place where Jiang Chen arrow went.

Shangguan Ning'er "There was really a wind gorilla there."

Jiang Chen "Brother Mo is too experienced he was able to see Gorilla before everyone and was teaching us how to face it practically. Thank You brother Mo."

Shangguan Mo was dumbfounded hearing this as everyone looked at Shangguan Mo in awe.

Shangguan Mo "Idiot.What did you do wind gorilla doesn't live alone it would have a troupe following it now you just brought them all towards us."

Shangguan Mo was super pissed at this. Facing single Wind gorilla is already problematic now Jiang Chen's action brought a trope for them to face. Jiang Chen was smirking in his heart at the tragedy he brought.

Jiang Chen then continued to shoot arrows in slow pace he was able to bring down over ten gorillas of twenty before they reached the Shangguan family members and Martial fighters were forced to fight of remaining ten .It took them half an hour to calm the situation and killing all the gorillas as Jiang Chen intentionally avoided close fight. Due to fighting a trope of gorillas without preparation few of the Shangguan family members were injured and Shangguan Mo was cursing Jiang Chen in his heart. Well everyone believed Jiang Chen that it was Shangguan Mo's plan to face troop of Gorilla's to train them.

After some time similar situation happened again it was not because Jiang Chen participated but because he didn't participate.

Shangguan Mo finally understood that Jiang Chen is too naive that he might bring a calamity to them if he continued to stay with them.

Shangguan Mo "Jiang Chen you have pretty good eye sight so you act as a scout for us and go ahead of us if you find any danger send us signal using a tribulation arrow and divert them through signal."

Shangguan Ning'er "Elder brother we can't let Jiang Chen go alone deep in the forest it would be trouble for us if something happens to him."

Shangguan Mo "Shangguan Ning'er he might be your fiancee but you shouldn't be too protective of him. Jiang Chen is long range fighter so he wont have any trouble as long he stays farther".

Jiang Chen "Sister Ning'er you don't have to worry about me what is purpose of training camp if I don't share duties with others. I have good eyes so it would be best if I stay as scout."

Jiang Chen said that and rushed forward using his movement skill.

Jiang Chen was no more interested in Shangguan family disciple he already harassed them enough. So he continued moving forward deeper and deeper into the forest to hunt demonic beasts. he continued killing demonic beasts and storing them in his natal palace.

Around 15 days after Jiang Chen separated from Shangguan family disciples.Shangguan family didn't bother about Jiang Chen as they continued hunting and gaining experience and profits.

As Jiang Chen was getting relaxed on a tree after a good fight with a big pack of wolves. Jiang Chen saw fires raging far distance at the forest. It was unnatural for that dense fires to happen in the forest so Jiang Chen was sure there was a fight going on there ,he thought Shangguan disciples might have caused some disaster for themselves. Jiang Chen activated his god's eye to see what happened but he didn't find and Shangguan family disciples there but there were over four people surrounding an injured girl and she was having a tough fight. Jiang Chen could see that their cultivation is at least level two martial fighter and all of them are fire attribute fighters. Jiang Chen nooked his arrow and shot his personalized lightning arrow towards the person closest to her and there was a huge lightning almost giving the pressure of a real tribulation lightning. He was seriously injured by it and seeing the opportunity that immediately struck him with a killing blow beheading him. Seeing the sudden change in situation others were scared to find some unknown hindrance coming towards them. They were panicked and were about to scatter but three more arrows struck them and they were gravely injured even the girl was surprised seeing this happening before her. She could barely move and her attribute energy is clearly exhausted and there was too much sorrow in her eyes.

By the time Jiang Chen reached there she was shocked to see that it was a 16 year old that saved her killing four martial artists.

Jiang Chen slowly took his sword and sliced the heads of all the perpetrators.He then took away his arrows and released his fire attribute energy to burn the corpses not before taking their possessions.

Jiang Chen "You seem have lot of enemies." Jiang Chen said looking at distance he could see many people are coming in this direction over thirty people and many with higher cultivation than these four.

"You should leave quickly from here .You will not be able to save me. The people looking for me are lot more powerful. They will not stop searching for me ever.Don't get yourself into trouble. Leave from here quickly." her mental state is already distraught seeing so many deaths she didn't want another innocent to die for her sake.

"They should already be looking for me and commotion here should have already grabbed their attention."

Jiang Chen "You are right they have already surrounded the place they are thirty six people 6 fifth stage Martial Artists and 30 low level martial artists."

Jiang Chen "They are moving carefully they suspect someone laid traps for them.They will be able to reach here in approximately 1000 breaths of time."

Hearing this that lady was shocked .

"You don't seem scared even after seeing the line up just being a Martial disciple. I think you have a way to escape from them. Can you do me a favor ? Kill me and burn my body I don't want to be humiliated by them."

Jiang Chen "I can do even better than that ,I have a way to save you too."

"You have a way to save me .I already exhausted my heavenly energy and my attribute energy and there are many injuries from fight to."

But the part of saving you need me to expose my deepest secrets to you so you will loose your freedom to certain extent to prevent them leaking out but I will not take advantage of you without your will and you will be closest person to me .You will be my first woman in this life."

Jiang Chen "Do you agree? If you agree I have ways to save you and you would even be able to take revenge on them."

Lady gave a chuckle "You speak too big for a martial disciple. See what ways do you have to save me when surrounded by that many experts and all more powerful than you."

Jiang Chen smirked and made his consciousness touch the grey dragon and in an instant both Jiang Chen and lady got transferred to Jiang Chen's natal palace. Jiang Chen had spread forest fires to cover the traces of lightning energy in the surroundings.

Lady was shocked at the sudden happenings. She could still see the place in the sky and she saw the people coming there but they aren't able to see them.

Lady "Did we shrink in size or we became invisible."

Jiang Chen "Neither we got transported to my Natal Palace.This place can only be accessed by me and no one can come here or leave here without my permission.No one could even sense it without space attribute. "

Jiang Chen was observing his dantian to find how much space attribute energy he spent to bring that lady in here.

Jiang Chen "Since you already agreed to my condition you are my woman now."

Jiang Chen "Wife my name is Jiang Chen.Now you are in my one of my most guarded secrets so you can understand what I meant by loosing freedom."

Jiang Chen "From now on you will be living here in this place. This will be your home."

That lady was shocked listening to this.

"So you mean I can't leave this place?"

Jiang Chen "To bring you here I spent all my space attribute energy so you can understand this is not easy to leave this place without my will ."

"So you are saying I am imprisoned here for life. You would be only person I would be seeing in all my life." Lady was not sad at that. Jiang Chen has made promise on heavens so even if she was imprisoned here for life he will take good care of her.

Jiang Chen "Wife how can you call this prison? This place has 10 times heavenly energy and every facility one person needs. There was even a pool here and it is huge as my city ."

Lady "Are you always this shameless?"

Hearing this lady forgot about previous events and burst into laughter at this. She thought may be fate really linked both of them.

Jiang Chen then took out few medicines from his jade belt and handed it to her .

Jiang Chen "Wife I don't carry any robes for girls so I don't have any. I will get you new clothes when I go back to city for now you can wear my robes I stored them in that room."

Lady "what attributes do you have?You are too mysterious?"

Jiang Chen "Wife your husband have over 6 attributes fire,lightning,ice,light ,space and time. And I am sure my cultivation technique is heavenly grade. You didn't make wrong choice."

She was in daze hearing this, she almost thought he was sprouting nonsense but then she saw three attributes with her own eyes.

Lady "Don't call me wife .My name is Mo Qingcheng ."

Lady "Now you leave this place I have to clean my injuries and take bath."

Jiang Chen wanted to speak something stupid but decided against it and went to his store room to re organize his items keeping an eye on the lady .

Jiang Chen haven't seen her properly her whole body was covered in blood Jiang Chen took that action on instincts and wanted to have a look at her now.

That lady was not aware of the shameless peeping happening on her and casually walked to the pool cleaning her body from all the blood strains. Seeing the blood washing away from her body her tears burst out as all the sorrow once again resurfaced on her.Jiang Chen couldn't watch her crying and turned his eyes away .She cried for several minutes and finally composed herself with determined expression for revenge.

Jiang Chen lied on his bed and was looking at his surroundings in the forest ,even though they left he should make sure they are not around or else he will be in trouble.

Jiang Chen "Wife. Do you think they gave up searching on you?"

Mo Qingcheng who just came there was surprised that he was able to sense her.

Jiang Chen was seeing Mo Qingcheng for first time. That robe was too loose for her and didn't fit her properly but yet it couldn't stop her radiating beauty. She was without one of the most beautiful women Jiang Chen ever saw. Even though Shangguan twins and Su Ming are beautiful Jiang Chen never saw them as proper ladies. Mo Qingcheng was the first woman Jiang Chen was looking at as a lady. He felt in his heart like her beauty is unparalleled. Her beautiful large eyes showing innocent charm and her beautiful black tresses reaching her knees. Her skin was so smooth like jade and .Jiang Chen felt he is short of words to describe her beauty.

Mo Qingcheng couldn't help but blush seeing Jiang Chen's dumbstruck expression.

Jiang Chen "Do you have light attribute too?" Jiang Chen composed himself asking the question.

Mo Qingcheng "How did you know that?"

Jiang Chen "Your injuries are already healed only light attribute have such magical affects."

Jiang Chen "We husband and wife have two attributes in common.Come here wife we should speak about ourselves I may not be able to see you for another week." Jiang Chen shamelessly started teasing her. It felt nice for him to express himself truly he didn't mind that he was rushing but felt that he should not hide anything from her.
