24 Clearing Pill

Mo Qingcheng "It is not broken it is melted."

Mo Qingcheng "Hmm for those using spiritual sense they will notice purer energy when it is broken. For those who rely on vision it is in form of some changes in the core."

Jiang Chen "What type of changes?"

Mo Qingcheng "It is more like process happening quicker than before. Mo Qingcheng yo can't drop the temperature faster either it will cause core crystal to crack away."

Jiang Chen "Hmm good I will try. How much essence should I collect?"

Manager "Usually 10 drops is considered perfect amount. Since you are doing for first time even single drop will indicate you have some proficiency in using this cauldron." he was not optimistic because that cauldron was laying there for over ten years and no one made an attempt to test it.

Mo Qingcheng "I would have been able to extract ten drops of essence with closed cauldron and around 8 drops in open one."

Jiang Chen "Why is that ?"

Mo Qingcheng "True energy evaporates quickly and since nothing is preventing it from reabsorbing into atmospheric energy ."

Jiang Chen "So both methods have disadvantage and advantages?"

Mo Qingcheng "Yes."

Jiang Chen slowly placed the beast core in the cauldron and closed it then activated his god's eye to see the beast core in the center of cauldron.He could see it clearly as it was open. Jiang Chen slowly sent his fire attribute energy through the the opening given for that. There was no reaction when he passed the fire energy at first and then he slowly increased the energy he is sending and finally the crystal started melting and the process was too slow. Even though Jiang Chen knew that it may not be any problem for him to increase the energy he still asked Mo Qingcheng.

Jiang Chen "Wife is it ok if i increase the energy supply by bit. The core started melting but it is too slow."

Mo Qingcheng "No problem. But don't increase or decrease suddenly. It should be a steady increase or decrease."

Jiang Chen did as she instructed ans increased the supply of energy by few strands slowly.

The melting of core was now faster than before but Jiang Chen did not dare to increase is more fearing he might melt away inner core with higher energy. It took over an hour and still outer core was melting. Then suddenly Jiang Chen felt like some sudden change happened in the core and he gradually started reducing the supply of energy core. Jiang Chen then quickly moved his heavenly energy inside in the form of a bubble shape. Jiang Chen reduced the temperature slowly and felt that at some point it would be enough.He observed little of true energy got evaporated because of high heat.

Jiang Chen then waited patiently using steady energy as supply and periodically a drop of energy melted fell down and Jiang Chen caught them using the bubble formed by heavenly energy. It continued for another few more minutes and all the core was melted down and Jiang Chen collected all essence in his bubble.

Jiang Chen "Wife it is completed? I collected the true essence and isolated it with my heavenly energy. I guess I spent over 8000 strands of heavenly energy for it."

Mo Qingcheng "It would be shameful if you failed with the skills you have. How many drops did you collect?"

Jiang Chen "I didn't count let me make a quick check." Jiang Chen converted the bubble to hour glass shape and slowly counted the no. of drops falling."

Jiang Chen "Wife there are 8 drops."

Mo Qingcheng "Good you are not bad with more experience you can make perfect ten or even better."

Jiang Chen "Is there even better number than that."

Mo Qingcheng "There is but it is called mythical. No one was that absolute even that bastard from Pill Heaven Palace."

Jiang Chen "Oh! Is that the old foggy they tried to marry you to curry favor."

Mo Qingcheng "No he is even older than that. I was to be married to his son/disciple. "

Mo Qingcheng "Jiang Chen burn few drops of essence or else manager will die of shock."

Jiang Chen "How many should I burn?"

Mo Qingcheng "Leave 5 or 6 drops. It would still be in believable range. Also it would name you as genius. Even in my place 5-6 drops in first attempt is called a Super genius. Your wife was just short of it by a drop."

Jiang Chen "You mean I am better than you?"

Jiang Chen " All wife's teaching." he said smugly then slowly opened the cauldron and slowly poured the extracted essence inside the crystal bottle manager gave him.

Manager was not speaking anything at all he was completely dumbstruck seeing this. Jiang Chen was able to collect 5 drops of pure essence from beast core using a closed cauldron and that too when he was using it for first time.

Manager wanted to say only one word monster but he knew he can't say that to his young master.

Manager "Young master are you sure this is your first time with the cauldron. Leave closed cauldron even first timers in open cauldron can't collect this many drops."

Jiang Chen scratched his head he should have burned few more drops.

Jiang Chen "Uncle I liked this one can I take it."

Manager "Absolutely young master it is fate of the cauldron that it was chosen by young master." he himself was not sure whether he was flattering Jiang Chen or speaking his true opinion.

Jiang Chen "Thank you uncle. I will let father know about it. So father don't blame you."

Manager just smiled at it. Their young master as good as ever .Always speaking politely and caring about others. Mo Qingcheng "Yes. When one use demonic cores directly there would be too many losses so many prefer using pure essence directly. "

Jiang Chen "Doesn't that mean if I buy beast cores and convert them to true essence I will get three times profit.Also there are thousands of beast cores inside the store room of palace."

Mo Qingcheng "True but it would be waste of your time. Also there are not many buyers here. But it would be helpful for you to keep them in reserves."

Jiang Chen "True. What are next items I should be buying."

Mo Qingcheng "Ask manager for the crystal bottles .I guess they should be available in the store."

Jiang Chen "Uncle I need this crystal bottles?" these bottles are specially made for holding alchemy pills and true essence since Jiang family have connections outside they are available here.

Manager " We have only few dozens of them if you want more you should go to pill hall."

said passing few empty bottles to him . Jiang Chen paid for these items because. Cauldron is made by his father but they have to import these items from other cities .

Once Jiang Chen left manager immediately sent a servant to inform Jiang family about Jiang Chen's talent in alchemy too.

Then Jiang Chen proceeded to herbal stores and brought few stacks of herbs Mo Qingcheng asked him for.

Once everything was brought Jiang Chen went inside his courtyard. Jiang Chen could see his house maid Meera.

Jiang Chen "Don't allow anyone to come inside. I will be going to isolated training for few weeks.No need to bring me any food I have made preparations for it I am in a special diet."

Jiang Chen then proceeded inside his room once he was inside he latched it carefully and then entered his Natal palace.

Mo Qingcheng has already rearranged all the materials in an order.

Jiang Chen "Are we going to start of immediately?"

Mo Qingcheng "I wanted to wait but your time is very tight now."

Jiang Chen "True he then summoned all his weapons at once and they surrounded him in their positions."

Mo Qingcheng was not surprised seeing this she got habitual to it.

Jiang Chen "What are you teaching me first?"

Mo Qingcheng "Clearing pill. You told me this was the only pill you used till now."

Mo Qingcheng "Even though it is a bit costly it is very highly used pill. And good thing about it is it is a fire attributed pill."

Mo Qingcheng "The main core of the pill is formed by beast core of fire attribute. And most of its materials are also fire attribute."

Jiang Chen "Oh there are actually attributes for pills too."

Mo Qingcheng "Not every pill. But few pills are attributed not few most ."

Mo Qingcheng "Like clearing pill is fire attributed ,healing pill is water attributed and fire pill is again fire attributed. Blood pill doesn't have any particular attributes and employs all attributes equally."

Jiang Chen could make a connection of it "Are there light attributed healing pills too."

Mo Qingcheng "There are and they are of best quality healing pills.But you know light attribute is very rare and it is difficult to find the material needed."

Mo Qingcheng "Jiang Chen there are mainly five ingredients for clearing Pill. Fire beast core essence, sun lotus leaves , roots of earth grass , bark of yang fruit tree and seeds of sun yang flower."

Mo Qingcheng "You should extract the essence of beast core,sun lotus leaves and roots and other two you need to crush them to powder."

Mo Qingcheng then started explaining the step by step procedure of making clearing pill to Jiang Chen.

Mo Qingcheng then started making the clearing pill to show it to Jiang Chen. Mo Qingcheng extracted the essence of the beast core and collected ten drops of essence from fire core.

Then she started extracting essence from Sun Lotus leaves.

Mo Qingcheng "Extracting essence from herbs is different process from beast cores. Unlike beast cores there is no outer layer for this leaves. The whole leaf is the container of essence.So we should not directly burn the leaves instead you should use your heavenly energy as a membrane to do the process."Mo Qingcheng slowly extracted the essence from the leaves once she extracted the essence the leaf crumbled and turned to powder.

Jiang Chen "Is that powder useful?"

Mo Qingcheng "That will be absorbed by cauldron ."

Jiang Chen "Why is there very less essence in the leaf?"

Mo Qingcheng "It is how it is? Now you try to extract the essence from root.It is same procedure as for leaf."

Jiang Chen was able to extract three drops of essence from single root. Mo Qingcheng said that is very good thing .

Jiang Chen "So each herb or ingredient have limited essence ."

Mo Qingcheng "That depends on quality of herbs too. The older the herb is more essence it holds and more purer."

Mo Qingcheng "Now next step is to crush the seeds and bark to powder."

Jiang Chen "Do we need fire energy for that?"

Mo Qingcheng "Yes. Because there is dew present in this items we need to extract the dew away and then grind them using heavenly energy or else we will never be able to do that."

Mo Qingcheng slowly heated the seeds and separated the dew in it and extracted the powder from it. Jiang Chen followed the lead and did the same with other item.

Mo Qingcheng " Jiang Chen now is the most crucial step in the process. Next is mixing the ingredients . Then comes crucial pill making process."

Mo Qingcheng "It may sound simple but it is nowhere close to that. All the ingredients have their own properties so each give different reaction to different combination. You should maintain a subtle heat for that too."

Mo Qingcheng then kept all the items in cauldron and then separated them using heavenly energy. Then she moved beast core essence into it first. There was subtle fire energy surrounding it then she moved the essence of roots to it and there was an explosive reaction and they both started merging forming a more viscous essence. Then she moved barks powder next then she moved leaves essence then and finally seed powder. She then maintained that subtle fire for longer covering the mixture and then separated the viscous mixture into three different parts and surrounded them using a bubble of heaven energy. After over few minutes all the paste dried out and formed three black colored clearing pills there was a dense smell coming from it. Jiang Chen could sure recognize the smell from experience. Mo Qingcheng used her heavenly energy to encase them and slowly kept them in the bottle.

Jiang Chen memorized the process completely.

Mo Qingcheng "It looked very simple right. But I can make a bet that you won't succeed the first time."

Jiang Chen felt that it is very much possible. The last process of mixing and pill forming would take more experience to form their own timing and temperature.

Jiang Chen made repeated attempts to make the pills. He repeated extraction ,mixing and making process repeatedly he was never able to get past the stage of mixing easily.

It took him over hundred attempts to make first clearing pill. And since then he has n problem with it.

Mo Qingcheng "It took you 128 attempts to make your first pill. Not bad."

Jiang Chen "How many attempts did you take?"

Mo Qingcheng "Hmm Clearing pill 33 attempts and absorbing pill 121 attempts." she said with indifference she don't want to look lesser than Jiang Chen in it so she subtly covered few facts on difficulty of pills made.

Jiang Chen "I sure got a good guide." said smugly .

Mo Qingcheng "Jiang Chen for now continue with martial techniques training we will do next pill after a week."

Mo Qingcheng "You should use this opportunity to train in your that unknown attribute."

Jiang Chen nodded and found his place beside the pond to cultivate and all his weapons are around him a circular formation as he sat down in meditation posture.
