Jiang Chen got down from the ship and was standing in the dock waiting for FERRY to stop, since Chimera is fast, they reached the Wood islands very early.

Jiang Mingyun "Are you sure you want to part ways now?"

Jiang Chen "You have lot of things to do in Marsh islands, it is better if you reach there early, LingRou, comedown with your things." After bit convincing things were agreed upon.

Jiang Mingyun "We will leave, after you go for hunt. "

Jiang Chen agreed to it, even though he was confident ,that there would be no attacks happening in open. But, they are family after all, they will be concerned.

Along with Jiang Chen and Bingrou,Meera and another maid got down, from the ship. These two maids will be coming along with them. Myriad Rivers sect allows few servants to come along with students to handle their daily chores.

After some time FERRY stopped and Ha Ling was first to get down.

Jiang Chen "Brother Ha Ling is there a place for four of us in the ship?" he asked jokingly.

Ha Ling "I guess we can accommodate you in some corner if, you had come along with us from the start we would have given you your own king size chamber." Ha Ling signed to one of his men.

That servant took Meera and other maid along with him inside the FERRY ship .

Ha Ling "LingRou do you want to come along with us to hunting trip?"

LingRou "I am just a 5th stage Martial Artist ,wouldn't I be burden for you guys."

Ha Ling "No, not at all, there are many among us who are below the 5th stage . It is just a hunting trip, the strongest beast we would find are second rank beasts. To take care of them ,we have more than enough people and also few beasts of second rank and above."

Jiang Chen "LingRou, why don't you go along with brother Ha Ling, it would a good opportunity for you. Ha Ling take care of her ,she hasn't been to hunting trips before."

Ha Ling "She is also my sister. I will take care of her."

Jiang Chen "LingRou, be careful and always be on high alert, you are an archer, so you should know about your limits, avoid getting close to beasts."

Ha Ling "Are you not coming with us?"

Jiang Chen "I am going with brother Bai Mo, he invited me early on. He said he prepared a gift for me?"

Ha Ling "What gift did that fart prepare for you, I will be leaving then."

Along with Ha Ling all his troop went to the market in the island. As son of city lord and leader of the trip , he has few responsibility.

Bai Mo "Brother Jiang ,sorry for keeping you waiting. I was making necessary preparations."

Bai Mo "Almost, lets go we only have ten days time. We have to comeback before that."

Jiang Chen "We would utmost be able to cover outer layer ,we will have no opportunity to find powerful beasts." Jiang Chen said little sad.

Bai Mo "Brother Jiang, who said we would be only able to explore outer layer, we are venturing to deeper layers of the Wood island."

Jiang Chen "We can't travel that far by foot right? "

Bai Mo "No need to worry about that brother Jiang, Wood island has a special place, where they rent beasts for hunting trips. So, we will not have problem traveling into deeper regions."

Jiang Chen "That is good to know. Come lets go then."

Jiang Chen followed Bai Mo and his crew along, there are over 80 members in this group, all of them are Martial Artists , varying from 1st grade to 7th grade there are even three peak grade Martial Artists among them. Most of them are early stage martial artists and late stage martial artists are all guards of Bai family.

Jiang Chen followed Bai Mo and they soon reached the place from where they can enter inside to Wood islands.

Bai Mo " Brother , come along you will find this place interesting."

Jiang Chen "I will see what is so interesting here."

Bai Mo smiled at it as they entered inside, there was a bulky man waiting for them inside.

Bulky Man "Young master Bai, I was told you will be paying visit to us. My name is Manger Sun, I will be the one doing business with you."

Bulky Man "How many beast does young master Bai need? Do you need them only for rent or you want to buy few?"

Jiang Chen "So, we can even buy beasts here? Brother Bai is it the surprise you said you prepared."

Bai Mo smiled "It is, I heard, brother Jiang's beast is not hatched yet. So, why don't you get one temporarily."

Jiang Chen "I like the idea of it too. But , I was not able to find a suitable beast for myself."

Manager Sun "Young master Jiang, you will find a suitable beast for yourself here .We have many kinds of rare and powerful beasts here."

Jiang Chen "If I find a suitable one, I will not just rent it ,I will be purchasing it."

Manager Sun "That is good for business, if we could satisfy young master Jiang then."

Bai Mo "Also, I will be renting 80 beasts for hunting trip."

Manager Sun "Young master Bai ,I believe you already know the rules. You should deposit 50000 gold coins for each wild beast and it would be 1 Million for 1st rank demonic beasts. 20 Million for a second rank beast. We would refund you the amount subtracting the rent if beast comes safe alive."

Bai Mo "That would be no problem?" he said giving Manager Sun a gold card, with 5 million gold coins in it.

Manger Sun "This will do. Young master Jiang, if you please follow us we will show you our pen."

Jiang Chen silently followed Manager Sun , he could already sense a understanding between Bai Mo and manager Sun.

Manager Sun "Young master Jiang, these are all high quality beasts, that are only rented to top quality customers only." Manager Sun pointed a huge Pen to Jiang Chen there are over thousand beast stationed there. Jiang Chen looked around, there are three different divisions here first group contained only normal wild beast, which couldn't form a demonic core, they are weak beasts but they they commonly used for carrying weights around as transports and mounts.

Jiang Chen "Are all this beasts trained?"

Manager Sun "Absolutely." Jiang Chen could already feel that he is lying.

Jiang Chen first followed Manager Sun to the 2nd rank beast's pen. There were over 100 beasts stationed there. All their eyes were blindfolded, so they can't see the people before them.

Jiang Chen "Why are they blindfolded?"

Manager Sun "They are not adapted to outside that much so it is common practice to blindfold them and slowly adapt them to outside world slowly."

Jiang Chen "So they are not trained properly then?"

Manager Sun "That is not the case it is just they are sensitive to light."

Jiang Chen just chuckled inside at it. He very well knew why they are blindfolded.

Jiang Chen "I didn't like any beast here. I will check on other two pens. If I didn't find any suitable beast, I will rent that Lion beast over there."

Jiang Chen slowly checked both the pens carefully he didn't find any beast that suits him and when he was about to go to manager Sun, he found a peculiar beast, over the corner of the pen, which was almost hidden by other beasts, but Jiang Chen could sense no beast dared to go near it. It is not that they are hiding, it is instead they are moving away from it. Jiang Chen used his Heavenly God's eye technique to check the beast and was shocked finding the result.

'Nightmare beast.'

"Manager Sun, why is a horse there among all beasts?" he said feigning ignorance.

Manager Sun "That horse is bit special young master Jiang ,even though it is just a normal horse it is very powerful and as strong as many beasts."

Jiang Chen "I will buy that horse, you can't really keep a horse together with other beats , see how terrified it is of other beasts it is hiding from other beasts." Jiang Chen spoke concerned.

Manager Sun in his mind 'Idiot kid its other way around. It is the beast that killed most riders among all.'

Manager Sun "Young master Jiang are you sure you want to buy that horse. It is just a normal horse it may not meet your requirements."

Jiang Chen "I just need a mount for now, till my other beast grow strong. It will do."

Manager Sun "Young master Jiang think of it again are you sure you want to buy that beast."

Jiang Chen "Is there a problem?"

Manager Sun "No problem young master, it is just we feel it may not suit your status." 'Obviously no problem no rider of that beast ever came out alive.'

Jiang Chen "How much should I pay for it?"

Manager Sun "Young master it would be 80000 thousand gold coins. We will be providing all the accessories along."

Jiang Chen took out hundred thousand gold coins.

Jiang Chen "Are hibernation rings available here?"

Manager Sun "Yes young master. We have included that in the bill."

Jiang Chen "Good then. You can keep the change and give me another hibernation ring."

Manager Sun agreed to it easily, after few minutes , some servant prepared the horse and brought it to Jiang Chen.Its eyes were blindfolded too.

Servant "Young master, don't remove the blind fold now , you can do it after you enter the forest."

Jiang Chen nodded and he took the reins of the horse.

This horse was pitch black in color, it is over six feet tall and very muscular ,its coat is shining and Jiang Chen could feel some aggression there in the horse. All its body was like perfectly carved.

Jiang Chen then slowly moved forward to its ears and whispered "Stay calm for now. We will decide our issue, once we enter inside the forest. You can fight me with all you got. We will see, whether I am a fit rider to you or not."

When it heard Jiang Chen, that beast really became calm and reduced its aggression. It is truly the NIGHTMARE Beast. Only beast that can be ranked as one of the strongest beast as well as the weakest beast. Nightmare beasts are special kind of demonic beasts that stay as wild beasts normally.They will turn to demonic beasts, once they form soul bond with a cultivator or another Nightmare beast. Then they share the potential of cultivator and grow up along with them. They are usually Darkness attribute beasts but after they form soul bond with a cultivator they share attribute and form a demonic core of that attribute. They are highly intelligent beasts. In olden era they are used to find the potential of a cultivator because they have knack of selecting the one with strongest potential. Jiang Chen really felt lucky to find this one here.

Jiang Chen "I know you are intelligent, give me ride for now to the forest." Jiang Chen mounted the horse and trotted it towards the Bai Mo group. All of them were waiting for Jiang Chen to come.

Jiang Chen "Where is brother Bai?"

One of his servants responded "Young master was finishing the formalities with manager Sun."

Manager Sun "That brat selected that killer horse , he is doomed to die."

Bai Mo "Are you that confident?"

Manager Sun "That horse killed over hundred people till now , no rider of it ever came back alive . We kept that beast as a way to control other beasts."

Bai Mo "Is it that powerful?"

Manager Sun "But it can not be tamed by anyone. For some reason ,it always comes back to the pen after killing its rider."

Bai Mo " I will tell my uncle about you. You will sure be rewarded for it."
