The next time she woke up, Evelyn sat up quickly only for her head to ache with a new spell of dizziness and for her to spell back on the mattress. 

With a grimace Filled with pain, Evelyn closed her eyes and held on to her head as she pulled at the roots of my hair.

"Eat something and then take a pain med." 

yanking her eyes open, she turned around to stare at the source of the voice. It was Gia. 

Gia was staring at her with a nonchalant look on her face, as if nothing affected her especially the plight of a pregnant woman being forced into a sex trade. 

Despite her headache, Evelyn sat up on the mattress without a bed under it instead of the lanky woman belonging to Matt. 

"I am not eating anything you give me." Her voice was stern and determined with the power of protecting her child. 

She was not going to eat anything or even buy them for her, especially medicine. For all she knew, it could be a pill for abortion.
