Chapter 170 : [Operation Spearhead Part 2 (Cape Fligely)]

About 2 days have passed since the meeting of three teams back it Yakutsk have happened, and finally this time the whole joint group of three teams have finally arrived at their next and maybe the final destination for this operation. Based on their deciphering of founded clues and tracks that were discovered all over Russia, three primary location was given as the final pinpoint destination of where the terrorist group may be hiding themselves.

As such cape fligely were given to Kanzaki along with the other people as their assigned pinpoint location.

Of course It didn't actually took them about 2 days of travel just to get to cape fligely. Obviously there were interval activities within them. After the meeting was held, the whole three groups were then given time to take a day of rest as the organization wanted them to cool off for a bit after this lengthy search for their target. With that they were given free rein on their time on what they wanted to do at the current moment.

For Kanzaki he simply went to bed after one exhausting journey which took a huge toll on his body, on the other hand, Alice took her time for a slight tea time while conversing with Isabelle through her earpiece. Since they were the only two talking to each other, Isabelle and Alice naturally talk about girls stuff along their break.

Aside from the dispatched agents, their supporters were naturally given time to also rest as Isabelle finally let go of her monitoring screen duty as she sat back and took a break. Since they weren't rushed by the organization in consideration to their agents mental health, Isabelle even scheduled a sleep time for herself as she sat back in her chair back at the border of Russia connecting to China.

However since Kanzaki was missing in the p0icture and Alice was all alone spending her rest day all by herself, some guys who Alice got acquainted in her own group then approached her once more and begun pestering with some questions regarding her daily lifestyles and such. Naturally due to this intervention her communicative talk with Isabelle was interrupted as she displayed an annoyed look.

Unfortunately instead of deterring the people who approached her with her annoyed look, she actually gave off a different sense of aura which tickled something within the guys as they even more fervently tried to get to know her. For them Alice annoyed look was something quite adorable to see.

With such response Alice naturally was taken aback as she didn't expect such a reaction to sprout on her own team. After all she was much more comfortable on Kanzaki's reaction whenever she showed her annoyed look at him. Instead of feeling  coquettish just like the guys near her, Kanzaki seemed to express a troubled look whenever he saw her face.

Due to that Kanzaki became much more bearable as he was one of the people who doesn't easily fawn over her due to her looks. Soon after the longer she interact with Kanzaki she then noticed that he became approachable to her and somewhat labeled as she should interact everyday. With that as their interaction goes on, they then soon became friends close enough for others to envy.

For Alice Kanzaki is a person who is always a gloomy type of a guy. It was like he is always blaming himself for something whenever an accident happen near him. However that all changed when he encountered that chaos beast that attacked their academy and somehow had gotten contact with the organization himself. Unbeknownst to everyone including to her, Kanzaki then started to change after that fateful encounter.

During those times when she was still in the dark, Kanzaki then became someone that is hard to approach as she felt her connection to him slowly drift apart. But that was all in her head, Kanzaki himself still held her dearly as his close friend.

After the incident on where a chaos beast wave attack the city, she then came to know of Kanzaki's profession and soon joined their ranks after a long time of training to be their rookie agent of the dormitory. For 6 months she persevered till the day she passed her own tests and officially joined the organization.

The moment she finally got the chance to go on a mission together with Kanzaki, she then realized just how much he has grown from his past self as he became a reliable vanguard on the whole group. Little did she know that from that moment on, she became reliant on Kanzaki. That just shows how much reliable he is in taking care of his own responsibilities.

Her feeling towards him cant be simply described as love, after all this time, she only felt wanting towards him. Wanting but not ready to commit. That's how she felt towards him. With that it only show's just how comfortable she is to be together with Kanzaki instead of the other guys who wanted to approach her.

Luckily for her that didn't take long, soon after Richard intervenes as she dealt with the guys who talked to her before conversing with Alice. Aside from Kanzaki, Richard is one of the people who she is also comfortable with due to his competitive perception towards Kanzaki. Since his goal whenever he approached them was to simply talk about their own circumstances while also searching clues on how to overtake Kanzaki in rankings and accomplishments, she then naturally calmed down around her as she wasn't the target for his curiosity.

With that, they simply talked for a bit before they part ways to take their own respective rests.

After their day of rest, they were then given a few hors to prepare for the operation as they checked all their equipment and made sure that their own weapons were properly maintained. Once they were all packed up, they then boarded the plane which will bring them towards their destination much quicker than a wheeled vehicle.

Since Kanzaki was present in that moment, Alice simply sat beside him as they chatted with each other while waiting for time to pass and their ride to reach their destination. Soon after their lengthy hour of light, they then arrived at cape fligely as snow begun to pour from the sky and obstruct the teams operation. 

Located on the northern shores of Rudolf Island and Franz Josef Land in the Russian Federation, and is the northernmost point of Russia, Europe, and Eurasia as a whole. It is 911 kilometers (566 mi) south from the North Pole lays the place called cape fligely.

This group is separated from the central group, which contains most of the islands, by the Avstriysky (Austrian) Strait. The western group, divided from the rest of the archipelago by the Britansky Channel (British Channel), contains two large islands, Zemlya Georga (the largest, with an area of about 1,120 square miles [2,900 square km]) and Zemlya Aleksandry.

With such history, no wonder that such ordinary looking cape is a named location.
