1 Chapter 1: A Normal School Day
~During school~ The bell rings, It's after PE~
Hailey: Finally! PE is ooooover. God that was tiring...
(Hailey - The main character of the story.)
Rose: Aw c'mon, it's not that bad.
(Rose - Second Main Character, Hailey's best friend.)
Hailey: Hmph! Easy for you to say Miss. Athletic.
Rose: Haha, very funny. Anyways, I have art next period so... I won't be able to walk you to your class, as you know.
Hailey: Yeah yeah, I know I know, now get to your class before your teacher gives you another lecture about being late.
Rose: Aye Aye Captain.
~Rose walks off to her class~
Hailey: She- I- (sighs) Whatever.
~Hailey walks off to her class as well (Chemistry)~
~At Chem Class w/Hailey~
Random boy student 1: Yoooooo, I can't wait for tomorrow.
Random boy student 2: Why man?
Random boy student 3: You mean, you didn't hear? There's gonna be a new kid tomorrow! Damn I hope that new kid is a sexy chick.
Random boy student 1: Yo dude! Same! I call dibs on the new kid if it happens to be a chick.
Random boy student 2: I-... You two really need to go to horny jail...

Random girl student 1: Girls, big news.
Random girl student 2, 3, 4: What is it?
Random girl student 1: There's going to be a new student coming to our school.
Random girl student 2: What?! Really?! What gender?!
Random girl student 3: Yeah! Tell us more!
Random girl student 4: Ooo, spill the tea sis.
Random girl student 1: Well, I don't really know what gender they are, but I really really hope it's a boy. A hot one too.
Random girl student 2: Oh wow, what a bummer but yeah, a hot boy will definitely be a great addition to our school. Like literally, all the cute and hot guys are either gay or taken.
Random girl student 3: Yeah agreed.
Random girl 4: I'm kinda whatever honestly.
~With Hailey~
Hailey: A... new student...? That's so cool! I hope we can be friends. But for now, I'll just pay attention in class.
~Time Skip to after school ~ With Hailey and Rose ~
Hailey: Rose! Rose! Guess what?!
Rose: Oh lord, what is it now child? Has the new student news finally hit you?
Hailey: Yeah! Wait.... YOU KNEW ALL ALONG?!
Rose: Yeah, no shit Sherlock.
Hailey: Language! And WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!
Rose: Because. I didn't want to.
Hailey: You meanie!
Hailey playfully punches Rose's arm.
Rose: Anyways, you'll be sleeping over at my house today, your parents are away and won't be back till tomorrow. They texted me to tell you that.
Hailey: Oh really?! Yes! That's great! Sleep over time!!!
Rose giggles and starts walking back to her house with Hailey following.
~Time Skip to night time (When Hailey and Rose are sleeping)~
Hailey: Hey... Rose?
Rose sighs
Rose: What is it...?
Hailey: What gender do you think the new student is gonna be? Male or female? Maybe even Non-Binary? And... do you think they'll be hot?
Rose: I- go to sleep child. Your last brain cell has failed you.
Hailey: Bold of you to assume I had any to start with.
Rose: That's a Oofers. Anyways good night.
Hailey: Wait! Last question!
Rose: Go. To. Sleep. Child.
Hailey: Okay okay! Sheesh.
They both drifted off to sleep.
~Time skip~ Morning Time~
Rose: SHIT, SHIT, SHIT!
Rose shakes Hailey harshly
Hailey: OI OI OI STAPH SHAKING ME!
Rose stops shaking her and lets go.
Hailey: What the heck Rose?
Rose: WE'RE 20 MINUTES LATE TO SCHOOL. MOVE YOUR BUTT AND GET READY! I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!
Hailey: Wha...? WAIT. 20 MINUTES?! SHOOT!
Hailey and Rose rush to get ready.
~Time skip to when they arrive to class late~
Hailey and Rose barge into Math class
Teacher: Ah... I see. You two finally decided to show up. Take a seat. You're disturbing the class. And stay after class I need to talk to you both.
Hailey: Sorry Miss! I swear it won't happen again!
Rose: Sorry... I guess.
Rose and Hailey take their seat in the middle row.
The teacher resumes teaching whatever teachers teach in math class and the two girls rapidly jot down the notes.
~Time Skip to after class~
Hailey: Such a great way to start off the school day...
Teacher: Rose. Hailey. Come here. I need to talk to you both.
Rose: We're fucked. We're so fucked. God kill me now. End my suffering.
They make their way over to the teacher who's impatiently tapping their foot.
Teacher: Care to explain why you two were late this morning?
Rose and Hailey both exchange glances and nod in unison.
Rose: Because we got stuck in traffic!
Hailey: Because we forgot something back at the house!
Rose and Hailey look at each other with horrified faces.
Teacher: Let's try that again now. This time maybe when you lie try to think of the same thing. But I recommend you tell me the truth.
Rose: Well you see-
Hailey: Sorry miss! We slept in and forgot the time!
Rose: Wow, I feel betrayed.
Teacher: Thank you Hailey. Now that wasn't so hard to tell me the truth now was it. This is one of the reasons why you're one of my favorite students.
Hailey: Thank you miss.
Teacher: Now on the behalf of my favorite student, I won't give you a punishment, but if this happens again, I won't hesitate to send you two to detention and call your parents. Now with that being said, I assume both of you have heard about the new student.
Rose: Yes, we have. Why?
Hailey: Oh the new student?! What about the new student?! Tell me!
Teacher: Well, the new student is supposed to be arriving right now, but it seems like they are running a bit late. So, the principal called and told me that you two will be giving him a tour around the school.
Hailey: Ooo! Yay! We get to tour the new student! Isn't that great Rose? We get to tour the new student! Eeeeee!
Rose: Oh... yay... fun. Yeah. Great. We should get going now, thank you for telling us Miss.
Teacher: Nice to know you two are excited to tour the new student, just wait by the front gate, the new student should be arriving soon. You two are excused from your second period. Now Shoo. Get out of my face.
Rose and Hailey walk out of the math class, making their way to the front gates.
Rose: I for sure thought we were going to die today.
Hailey: Yeah, but we didn't so that's a plus.
Rose: I hope the new student isn't a bitch or an asshole.
Hailey: Language! And don't say that! You haven't even met them yet!
Rose: Well you haven't met the new kid either so you don't have the right to tell me not to say that.
Hailey: I-... Yeah... you got a point there. I accept my defeat.
Rose: Ha.
They arrive at the front gate.
From afar Rose and Hailey can see a shadow of a male figure leaning against the wall, with a cap covering his face.
Hailey and Rose stop just a couple of feet away from him.
Hailey: Hey Rose...? Is that the new student? He looks kinda suspicious.
Rose: Well I mean... we've never seen the new student before so we can't really say anything.
Hailey: True, I'm gonna go and say hi.
Rose: I don't think that's a good-
Hailey is now in front of the new kid.
Hailey: Hey there! Are you the new student?!
???: Am I...?
