5 No Way Out~

"Ryu you look familiar. I think I saw you before but I can't seem to remember where." Asuna said as she suddenly looked at my face.

I almost run as we were really closed to each other. I then blew her a hot breath as she realizes that she was very close to me.

"Sorry. I just thought you look familiar."

Yeah, I also thought you almost had me there. My heart's beating really fast, Asuna is really pretty and I know that that is her real appearance as she didn't know how to change it and she must have been to lazy to change it.

I calm myself down as I said to her.

"Asuna why are you all alone here?"

When she heard mu question, Asuna looked at me and answered.

"I don't know anyone here and I don't like being together with a stranger."

"Okay."

I was thinking of inviting her but it seems like she would not accept it as we only just meet.

"Hey Asuna can I add you as a friend?"

"A friend?"

"Yes. Here."

I swipe my right index finger downwards as an interface appeared. I then chose the add friend option there somewhere and Asuna received a notification.

Asuna looked at it before accepting my friend request, now that means that we are friends.

"Well. That's it, I'll be going now, see you around Asuna."

I waved at her as I already started to walk away from her. She stayed silent so I thought she might have not cared about it so I just continued walking until I heard her shouted at me.

"WAIT!!" She yelled as she run after me, I stopped walking as I turn towards her and waited for her to catch up to me.

There was really not much distance between me and Asuna as I only walked for a few seconds so Asuna reached me in mere seconds.

Asuna arrived in front of me and asked me a question.

"Are you a beta tester?"

A beta tester huh? I would have been of I was not training with suguha. But since I was, I didn't have the time to play the game at it's closed beta.

"No I'm not. Sorry about that."

Asuna hurriedly waved her hand to stop me from apologizing.

"Don't feel bad about it. I was only wandering since you look like you could handle a sword well." Asuna said.

Although I am not feeling bad about it but let's just leave it at that.

I then told her that I practiced in kendo that's why I know how to wield a sword and she was amazed that I know kendo. As I can see, the same as in the anime, Asuna also chose rapier.

Asuna then asked me if it is okay if she tag along with me to which I gladly welcomed her. I mean that was my main motive from the beginning though.

We then hunt for monsters together as we formed a party. I told Asuna that she didn't have to hold back and be afraid of breaking our weapons as we can always change it later.

Asuna was a fast learner as I thought her better wats to handle her rapier and attack monsters our efficiency improved as the both pf us were completely immersed in our hunt that we forgot how much time had already passed.

After a few hours, to which it was already 5:25 pm, Asuna and I were both lying on the grassy land resting as we were both tired. Even me as I had sealed most of my strength which also included my brain activity which is the only reason I am feeling tired inside the game.

Asuna and I talked about some random things about out life but we didn't reveal much information about ourselves to each other. Even though we were already so closed to each other, we had just only meet so it is only understandable.

After that, it was followed with Asuna suddenly standing up as she told me that she was logging out.

I then said to her, "Okay. See you later then."

"Yeah."

Asuna then swiped her right index finger downwards as she goes through the options. And as if she remembered something, she told me.

"You know Ryu, I really had a great day today. And I would love to do it again with you."

I smiled at what she told me as I told her.

"Anytime you want Asuna."

Asuna the pressed the settings option as she the froze in ahocked as she muttered.

"...no way."

I then asked her as if I didn't know anything.

"What is it Asuna?"

"There's no log out button."

Asuna said as her face turned pale, she was panicking as she didn't know what to do. I immediately comforted her as I told her everything will be alright.

Although I might look kinda weird for being so calm I can just tell them that I accept things easier than the others. As I was comforting Asuna, time just turned 5:30 pm when we heard a chiming noise like a bell sounding very loud as it surprised Asuna.

"W-What's happening Ryu?"

Asuna asked very surprise as I can see that both of us were immersed in a clear blue light pillar. The after that my vision blurred steadily.

And after a few seconds pass my vision returned buy what I saw was not the grassy plain anymore but a large road paved with stones.

Medieval streets surrounded by street- lamps and a huge palace radiating a dark light a few distance away.

I know this place is the starting point, the central plaza of the Town of Beginning. I then turned to look at Asuna who was also looking at me in a worried expression onher face.

"What's going on Ryu?"

Asuna asked me as she looked around her seeing that there are more and more players getting teleported to the plaza.

I then comforted Asuna as I held her hand to which she didn't reject. She just held it tightly and I can feel that she is nervous as I can see it in her eyes. But I couldn't just tell her that I would be able to finish this game fast.

Although I have already made the necessary preparations to which no one would really die if they die in the game but they would still die if they purposely remove the NerveGear on their heads.

It's not like I didn't want them to escape the game but because I don't have the necessary skill to solve it. This is all the best that I could do, I just hope that not much people would die.

I will try my beat to finish this game fast so that I could save more lives. I know that I could have just used my powers and stopped Kayaba Akihiko from eve launching the game but that wouldn't be changing the plot but destroying it as their will be no reason for the story to exist anymore.

Kayaba then started talking about his ambition to which lead to the creation if SAO or his world. Then, he revealed our true appearance which lead to my face being revealed but made Asuna shocked as she should have probably knew me already.

Asuna decided to pressed on this matter later on as we listened to what Kayaba was saying. And just like in the anime, he told everyone that over 2000 people died from purposely removing the NerveGear.

Then after that he left as everyone panicked as they created chaos. I then dragged Asuna to an alley as we made our way out of chaos.

I then turned to looked at her and said to her.

"Asuna I am planning to head to the next village. On my way I will be hunting monsters to increase my level. Follow me, we'll help each other."

I said to her but Asuna was just staring blankly in front of her. I shook my head as I knew that she is just a fragile girl even though she acts tough and brave. That is just her own facade to hide her weakness and to fool herself.

I then tried to convince her dramatically you think about it cause I don't how to describe it. Then after that, Asuna burst in tears as she cried then after that, she looked at me and agreed to follow me.

Note: Forr the inheritance I was thinking of Sinbad nya~ but I guess that's a bad choice for the current world so I was going for a character with a large combat experience and diversity in weapons nya~ for example someone like Shiba Tatsuya? is that okay nyaa~
