(A/N: Here's a New Year special Q&A with our beloved characters. Let's find out their goals and resolutions for the New Year!)
Author clears her throat.
A: Welcome to our New Year interview. Today we will be hearing from our special guests Ni Ni, Yun Heng and Feixiang. Let's give our guests a round of applause. *cue standard talk show claps*
A: So thanks for being here today. I'm sure you must have all had to take out some time from your busy New Year's eve schedule!
N: Yeah be grateful. I was in the middle of a manicure. Do you know how long it takes to get an appointment at my salon? I waited half a year for this appointment! Let me tell you right now, I'm only here for that reward at the end.
A: What reward…?
N: Oh DON'T YOU DARE TELL ME YOU EXPECTED ME TO DO THIS FOR FREE!
A: *whispers quietly to Ni Ni* Let's talk about this later. You're embarrassing me in front of the readers…
N: You are not getting out of this one A.
A: *hushes Ni Ni* Keep your voice down. Fine I promise I'll give you whatever you want, so can you please cooperate now? *begs desperately*
N: *Ni Ni whispers back* You said it! You better keep your promise *stops whispering and returns to normal* I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be here! It's my pleasure to talk to you on this special day!
A: *rolls her eyes but sighs in relief* So as you all know it's about to be 2019! The past few years have been pretty eventful for you all! How do you feel about the year ending?
N: I mean a lot has happened this year for sure. I met my brain dead host and stuck by him while he was being stalked and loved by a creepy desperate dude. Sooo...I guess I'm glad it's over? Wait a second...the creep isn't going to leave is he? Shit.
Feixiang glares at Ni Ni
F: Who are you calling a creep? Who else has been chasing my baby? Tell me his name so I can destroy him!
N: Woowwww, he doesn't even realize that he's the total creep I'm talking about. ╮(╯_╰)╭
F: I heard that.
N: I know.
Feixiang stands up in anger. His chair topples over with a bang.
Y: Sit down.
Feixiang immediately sits down obediently looking cowed.
F: Kitten she's bullying me *looks at Yun Heng with a grieved expression as if he's being bullied*
Y: Ni Ni, stop bullying him.
N: ...Fine
Feixiang throws a smug smile at Ni Ni
Author covers her face with a tired exhale.
A: Back to the topic at hand...Your thoughts about 2018?
Y: It was okay. I have no real opinion about it.
F: It was the best year ever. I got to meet my kitten!
A: So what's your most memorable moment from this past year?
Y: *with a monotonous voice* Getting killed by He Chao
N: That was unexpected...I thought he would say falling in love. Or feeling again…
F: *looking hurt* Your memorable moment wasn't meeting me?
Y: That too
F: *immediately perks up like a dog wagging its tail* My most memorable moment was meeting my kitten. I love my kitten the most. Yi-er is the most adorable, beautiful, gorgeous, smart, cute, wonderful, brilliant, stunning, special, precious - *gets cut off*
A: - We get it. What about you Ni Ni?
N: Well there are too many beautiful ladies that I met so I can't really choose one moment with them. Hmmm. Oh right. My most memorable moment is when I first met Host. God it was the most memorable and one of the most horrible moments of my life.
A: Hey! I wrote that! How can you say that it was terrible?!?!?!
N: *snorts* Who cares about you
A: *enraged* Hey!!! I can be considered your mother! I created you!
N: So?
A: *deflates and gives up* Never mind…
Y: You regret meeting me Ni Ni?
N: I never said that. I just said our first meeting was terrible, I never said I regretted it or that I hate you.
Author internally grins. Ni Ni is such a tsundere. She won't admit that she totally cares about Yun Heng.
A: Moving on - As we head into 2019, what are you looking forward to and do you have any resolutions?
N: I'm hoping to meet a greater variety of beauties and maybe actually get a chance to hook up with one of them.
A: You don't mean that...What about Ru Ru?
N: *Ni Ni tenses up* Shut up. Don't you dare speak that name.
A: Okay okay, sorry. What about your resolution?
N: To try and suppress my urge to kill you and end this dumbass story. Oh and depending on how good your reward is, maybe I'll try to respect you more.
A: Why do I feel kind of touched? Are my standards too low?
Y: I guess I'm looking forward to getting married. Resolutions? Maybe to work harder to learn to feel.
F: Oh my turn now? I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with Yi-er. My resolution...is to cherish and treasure Yi-er until the end of time.
N: *aims a disgusted glance at Feixiang* Why are you so cheesy and predictable? *turns to A* I blame you for your shitty writing and generic stalker dude ML formula. Can't you come up with something a little new?
Author hangs her head in shame and runs off to squat in a corner and draw circles on the ground.
N: *looks away from the author* How childish. I guess it's my time to shine!
Ni Ni hijacks the show and trains a professional smile at everyone
N: Hey everyone! Thanks for sticking with us through 2018! It has been a real rollercoaster year and we appreciate your support! Hope you all had a wonderful 2018 and wishing you an amazing 2019! Keep sticking with us and we'll give you a story worth reading!
*mutters under her breath* If A does her job.
Yun Heng and Feixiang stand and formally bow to the audience.
Y and F: Thanks for being with us through 2018 and we hope to see you in 2019. Happy New Year!
A staggers out of her corner and takes center stage.
A: Thanks everyone for supporting me this year! I know that there have been times when my updating schedule hasn't been very regular but my resolution for 2019 is to have a steadier release schedule! I hope you all have an amazing New Year! I hope that 2019 will be a year of new beginnings and a brighter future for you all!

A: What do you want?
N: What about tickets to that exclusive lesbian strip show happening tomorrow?
A: No way! This is a family friendly story!

Ni Ni swaggers off with a smug and satisfied smile on her face.
