1 Life Is Not Fair 1

Location: In a pitch black alley around the corner of a bar in Seoul city, Korea.

A women seemed to be pouring her heart out. It was raining outside and the alley was pitch black. Lee Suzy, crouched down with her hands covering her face. She had spent more than four hours in the most luxurious club in Seoul and now it was midnight. She had drunk more than 10 bottles of the Hwayo Soju, which she had asked the bar tender to prepare. And yet, why was she still feeling so many emotions. Suzy, thought that drinking would make her forgot everything, yet why was every emotion in her body heightened. Love, hatred and pain. Why is it that life is cruel to one and beautiful to another. She was breathing very quickly, with every tear, she could feel her breaths getting caught in her lungs.

She had turned 28 at midnight tonight, how ironic isn't it that she was alone and crying on her own on her birthday.

...Recall...

This morning she was preparing for a brunch party event that her family was holding for her birthday. Suzy was utterly beautiful, her skin as pale as the snow and brown eyes that were in the shape of almonds that twinkle with positivity no matter what. She had beautiful full lips and smooth long length hair that reached the end of her spine. Yet, the funny part was, she really had underestimated her beauty, grace for someone as bold as herself. Some thought she was a snob for her straight forwardness, but she liked honest more than anything. Isn't it better to know the truth than to be lied to?

She wore an almost to the ankle length, white dress and paired it with her usual Dior red lipstick. After, getting ready she ran downstairs immediately. And to her delight the table was already filled with food. The only good aspect of events like these. She went around the table and sat at her usual seat.

Suzy, was actually the second daughter of the XX family, one of the top five most well known and richest families in the city. Although, she come from a top family, it didn't mean all that great. Underneath secrets were left to be unfolded, because of her positivity no one could really tell anything.

She quickly started to grab a piece of bread and glass of milk and then she started munching on it. She looked up and noticed her fiancé holding her younger sister's hand. It made her smile that they were close. But, before she could call him to come over he had already grabbed a glass of champagne to make a toast. Looking back she recalled that they were soon going to announce their engagement, her eyes even became twinkly out of curiosity, was he really going to announce it.

How could she be so naive to believe him? He held the hand of that girl, lifted the hand up in the air, the bright rays of the ring on her ring finger shined into Suzy's eyes. The twinkle in her eyes changed in less than a second as she realized what had happened. Park Young, smiled at Grace Lee and had the guts to utter these few words that shattered her world.

"I would like to formally introduce my fiancée, Grace Lee to the guest here today at my sister in laws birthday party! I thank my father and mother for allowing us to be together, announcing it at my sister in laws birthday party, I cannot express my words of gratitude." After, he flashed a smile at Suzy, before bending on one knee and taking Grace's hand. He than placed a kiss on it and said "I love you."

Everyone started to cheer for the young couple. Just then...."clink" the sound of glass broken could be hard.
