"Are you sick?"

He look dumbfounded, then he shook his head and a slight smirk formed in his mouth. How could he deem this conversation like a child's play?

This is a matter of death and life for me.

"Tell me, do you really detest me that much to end the marriage in just what? A month or so?" Trying to calm myself, I took a sip and my eyes immediately widen up.

It was Oolong tea, the red brown color of the water urge me to take a sip once more. It still taste like this, still the same Oolong tea that Maid Anxin brewed for Young Master Wei.

Maid Anxin, the head maid in the Wei's Estate and the only one who treated me right after my marriage towards Feng-ge. I was married, I forced Feng Li to marry me and doing that, I need my sister's support and help.

The three of us grow together, Feng-ge being the older boy to us by a five year gap. Though we may seem like we're closed to each other, Feng Li didn't like me and only wanted to be with Ying Li. The two of us clearly have the same face but my aura was like the moon; silent and tranquil. Unlike my sister who shined like the sun, she captured Feng Li's heart.

I was enraged at my sister and due to my jealousy, I forced her to make me marry Feng-ge, not knowing the repercussions I could have.

"Like it?" His question made me pause and then I nodded meekly, still savoring the taste of the tea.

"Back to the topic, what do you mean that you'll be the one who will decide about the marriage?" Brows frowned into confusion, I set the cup down from the circular wooden table and gaze at him straight into his eyes.

"Well....who knows? I may get some schemes-I mean advice to you. Also, I trust Ying Li, I like your goal and your offer seems.....tempting"

After getting out, I turned around and look at his place once more. The familiar garden, the long hallways I used to walk onto and especially, how I would always cry my heart out on the patio whenever I see him leaving me.

Sighing, I took my phone and call someone. With the sun going down signalling to the world that night would descend in just an hour or so, I waited for him.

"Finally" I walk faster and opened the car, not minding the frost atmosphere and instead, took a long nap.

"Where is she?" His voice make my surroundings evem more colder, fighting the shiver on me, I peek and told him.

"She's fine, I already enrolled her and now......she must be having fun with my people"

"How did you get her moreover how did you know me?"

Hui Fan looked at me like I'm a ghost, leaning on my seat, I brush the stray hair on my face and look at his now bare face. Eyes cold, tall bridged nose and a sharp jawline, one of his brows also have a cut making him more manly. His face could rival Feng-ge but I'm not here for that.

"Just because.....don't worry Hui Fan, I told you, I'll protect your sister and in return, protect me"

With those words, I once again sealed my fate towards the assassin named Hui Fan.
