Getting Along

Louisa's POV

After I finished helping Miriam to move her things back to her place, I drove to Aminu's place, when we spoke in the morning I told him I would be coming over.

"Hey pumpkin," he kissed me on my forehead after I stepped out of my car.

I brought up my hand to his face, playfully touching his beard. "How are you?"

"I'm okay. I was beginning to think you changed your mind about coming," he used his finger to remove a stray hair from my face.

"No I didn't change my mind, I was helping Miriam to pack her things, she went back to her apartment today."

We both start walking to the back of the house with him holding my hand.

"She is back to her place already?" Aminu asked, as he led me to a gazebo that was beside his swimming pool at the back.

"Yes, she decided to move back today," I sat down on of the chairs in the gazebo.

"I see, but hope she stable enough to stay on her own now?"

"Yeah, she is."
