"Let go of me! I didn't do anything wrong! Aaaaaaargh, heeeelp! They are trying to k— Mhmmhmmhmm…" The miner shrieked the moment he saw Wuxing and Dongmei approaching him and tried to run away but was stopped by Dongmei's guards. His lips were sealed with a cloth before he could finish his sentence.

"Miss… Can you not cause trouble for me? It would be best if I wouldn't have another body to explain…" Chief Warden looked at the tied miner and sighed, begging in his place. He didn't care about the miner's life but killing him would bring a lot of additional work for them which he didn't want.

"Did I asked him to spread rumours about me? He brought it upon himself and now he needs to pay a price. I already killed one of your guards, do you think I care about a miner?" Dongmei said coldly as she rolled her eyes at the Chief Warden who was nagging her this whole time on their way.
