1 My Primary school experience

I go by the name victory,I come from a polygamous family with two brothers from the same mother.The name of my primary school is rickdale which have never had the best time growing up as a girl child.

My first day in school was quite interesting in the sense that I made new but few friends,love sports because I had the body for it and did so many other things.I was an average student then and the quiet one at that so it was quite difficult for me to communicate in class and making friends was and still quite difficult for me so I manged to make few of them.

My life was going great till I had a crush in primary 4 and i was in primary 3 while in school .One day I had no idea that teachers were meant to search books to check if they were all complete that was when I made one of my mistakes then but before that day my crush gave me a letter and I forgot to dispose it after reading silly me I left it in one of my books and one of the teachers get to know about it and we were both punished.The principal told one of the teachers to call our parents and they did and we both were cautioned,although i had no intentions of doing anything with the boy because we both were innocent and young at that time,so at times goes by we both stopped talking and I immediately lost feelings for him and I had to focus more on myself and studies because I was around the age of six so at that period I was bound to do anything without knowing if its good or bad .I would say I was naive as a girl child back in primary school in the sense that i wasn't thought much then,my parents were never available for I and my brother's then although my mum always strives to feed I and my brothers with her work .

Talking about been an average student in school there was a particular time one of my teachers beat me with cane and I was with bruises all over my body simply because I was never a fast learner,my mum got to know about that when I got back from school she was boiling inside her,seeing me like that got her upset so the next morning my mum took my brothers to school and literally turned the school upside down i got to know about how she reacted in school through my brothers because of the situation that woman put me in i had to stay at home so both the teacher which is supposedly known as igwe and the principal who also goes by the name Asaudeen begged my mum and agreed not to beat me up in that manner and they did listened to her,so my mum had to take care of me for a week till am fully recovered to resume school the next week.

During the period of celebration like the cultural day,valentines day,series of excursion and even the graduation parties I and my brothers never got a chance to attend any because of the financial issues my mum was facing while we were in primary school,she had just her work and the little my dad had to provide once in a blue moon and that hurt me so bad seeing all my mates then, attending series of ceremonies organized by the school and I was never part of any till I graduated ,I only attended my own graduation and that was in class five,yes class five i know your wondering why I skipped class six its because I picked up quite alot in school so I had to write my common entrance to Jss1.
