13 Chapter 13

Arriving home Peter found Jessica talking with his parents and they were happier than ever since it was the first time a girl had come for Peter since middle school.

Jess had already informed that they were dating and was getting to know the Parkers while also getting some juicy details about Peter, from embarrassing pasts events to great events that they were proud about.

She had learnt how Peter used to sleep with them until the age of ten and he stopped peeing on his bed at the age of six.

She saw how Peter was always curious even from a young age and he would take apart things before remaking them.

He loved spicy things and ate sweet stuff in moderation because they gave him too many sweets when he was young.

Peter would get lost in thoughts and even though he would be looking at something, he wasn't actually looking at it. He wouldn't even hear a thing when he gets like this.

He still loved cartoons and comedy shows but mostly he would watch science channels.

He liked romance genre and mystery genre.

He loves red grapes and he finds football barbaric.

He is a fan of baseball.

Jess really enjoyed learning these things as she had always wondered about Peter at a younger age and now they were very close so she should learn such things about him.

She knew that he loved his parents more than life so she had to worm her way into their heart, it was a priority in this relation.

Fortunately, they were great people and very open with Jess. They very much enjoyed their talk that took place after she had finished her training for the day.

It had been painful and harsh but Jess felt fulfilled as she could see that it would improve her powers and skills.

Jess had realized that she never pushed her body too far or test its limits.

It was such a stupid mistake that she had to face palm a few times.

Seeing Peter come in, Jess greeted him with a hug and kiss.

"Welcome back, dear. Would you like dinner, a bath or me?"

"I am going to take a bath and we will have a meal after that. Before I leave, how was your training?" Peter hugged her back and also gave her peck on the lips

"It was awful and I am running on fumes right now. Look at my droopy eyes."

"Good work, Jess. I am proud of you. Keep it up and we can start working together soon." Peter patted her head for her work

"Are you treating me like a kid?" Jess blinked in amazement at his actions.

"You don't like it?"

"No, I don't. You just messed up my hair."

"I see then a perv like you would like something like this, I suppose." Peter whispered into her ear as he got close and bit it before kissing her neck.

"Hyaa" Jess never expected something so direct from him and ending up pushing him away, luckily he was not a normal person or he would have died a terrible death.

Peter easily stopped his flight and stuck to the wall before falling back down.

"I suppose the neck is your weak point."

"That's my boy!" Ben was very much happy at the change he was seeing. Peter was outgoing and taking initiative without any nervousness.

He thought it was Naruto again on TV but it seems it was Peter.

Hugging his son, Ben congratulated Peter for getting a girl and for his new strength.

"Keep it up but don't become a deviant. I don't want to see on TV that you two were wrestling in front of everyone."

"Dad!" Peter was shocked to hear such a thing, even imagining it was so embarrassing. How could anyone do it on live TV?

"What, I was just reminding you of not going too far. I have heard terrible things and I would hate to see you repeat them."

"Trust me I would never do such things. That's so embarrassing and humiliating."

"Good boy and well done on your first day. It was you, wasn't it?"

"Yes, I started from today since I got the month training done last night."

"And how did it feel?"

"I loved it. The thought of helping people and going through a dynamic life is very much exciting, more than I ever imagined."

"I see, keep that excitement under control before you make a mistake and do your research from now since you want to be a hero. I have notes on these things so you can use them and build upon them with your own findings."

"I understand."

"Dear, stop talking so seriously. Peter just came back home and hasn't even eaten yet. Go on Pete; take a bath and come down to eat." May gave him a hug and interrupted them before they got lost in conversation.

Peter nodded and went up stairs to take a bath. Jess smiled with evil intentions as she slipped through and entered the bath with him.

She had intended to pour paint on him but thought that would be going too far so she opted for just joining him in the bath and drew a moustache on his face with permanent marker.

"You are too childish." Peter laughed at her antics and kissed her neck again causing her to jump away

"Hahaha"

"I will get you back for this." Jess said as she dived back in to find a weak point and it turned out to be his ears.

Time passed by as they enjoyed the time and finished up work before going to sleep early.

Peter had kept on the radio to wake him up for any emergencies. He knew this his rest time might get messed up and he would need to get used to the program as crime won't care about his beauty sleep.

Fortunately Naruto had taught him how to take short naps using chakra that give him the perfect recovery and rest.

He didn't need to sleep seven or eight hours anymore and even three hours was enough for him. And it seems he was right about crime never taking a rest as only after going to sleep for an hour he heard the radio come to life.

Peter had connected to the specific department that handled special problems and big problems.

He didn't intend to do the cops job and capture a robber or something in the middle of the night but he was going to wake up for an attack on Police department.

One of the gangs must have attacked to get back their important member.

'Really, they were too audacious.'
