95 Redemption?

Before they returned, Bourne wanted to have had a duel with Mirajane considering she was an S-Class magician, but in the end, he didn't do so since he felt that it was unnecessary. He had met Erza in the past and from how strong Erza was, he felt that Mirajane shouldn't be that much better from Erza.

Bourne and Ultear had talked together before and they had made up a plan to destroy the Tower of Heaven.

The Tower of Heaven, or the eighth tower of the "Resurrection-System" is a Magic Item that allows any person to restore life upon someone who is deceased at the cost of someone else's life.

For protection purposes, the construction of the tower has been forbidden by the Magic Council since ancient times.

However, a cult of Dark Mages wishing to revive Zeref began working on it years ago. The cult kidnapped children and adults alike and forced them into slavery so that they could construct the tower for them.

In the past when Ultear was a member of Grimoire Heart, she had manipulated the mind of one of the slaves inside that Tower of Heaven since she wanted to revive Zeref. Her intention to revive Zeref was to get her mother back, but after she met Bourne, she didn't need to do so and became a happy girl.

Ultear knew that Bourne wanted to create his own bodyguard team and thought to get the slaves that were being tortured on the Tower of Heaven to do that.

It wasn't that Ultear wanted to torture those slaves again, but after all, it would be hard for them to work in society after being trapped on the Tower of Heaven for several years.

Ultear thought to help them by getting them a job since her fiance didn't lack a business, but of course, she wouldn't force them and her first intention was to help them and erased her last regret. If possible, she also wanted to destroy the Grimoire Heart for all, but it was hard to find their location since their headquarters was located on the aircraft which meant they were moving around the continent and it was hard to grasp their location.

"Still, do you think that Jellal Fernandes will become a leader of Tower of Heaven?" Bourne asked.

Ultear nodded and said, "Yes, it should be him since I've manipulated his memory in the past and his next plan should be joining Magic Council."

"Then you're not disgusting." Bourne kept staring at Ultear and said, "Both of us have done a lot of inhumane things and we know what we have done is wrong. It is impossible for all of the people in this world to forgive us when they know what we have done."

"Even so, it doesn't mean we're going to die to repent all of our crime." Bourne lifted Ultear's chin and said, "Let's do something good."

"Do something good?"

"Yeah. Like save those orphans on the Tower of Heaven, destroy all of Zeref Cult, catch all of the Dark Magician, build a school, etc....." Bourne listed a lot of things which were usually being done by a foundation in his previous life. He had too much money and it wouldn't hurt him to do a humitarians actions since such an action was new in this world.

"We might not be able to erase all of our crime or even cover it up. I'm dirty, but even so, it doesn't mean, we're not allowed to do something good, right?"

Ultear was a bit surprised and asked, "You really want to donate your money?"

"Yes." Bourne nodded and asked, "What do you think?"

"I think this is a wonderful idea!" Ultear didn't hesitate and kissed Bourne's lips. She felt that one of the greatest things in her life was to meet him in this life. If she didn't meet him, then she wouldn't know what to do in her life and probably would stay on the Grimoire Heart continued to work as a Dark Magician, fooling everyone to use Zeref for her own gain, but that didn't happen because she met him.

Ultear kept kissing him and wanted to reach Bourne's leviathan, but she stopped when she noticed something was wrong. She parted her lips and asked, "What's wrong?"

Ultear blushed and slapped Bourne's head. "W - Who wants that thing?!" She snorted and wouldn't admit that she was perverted and wanted him to do that kind of thing to her.

"Wait here, I'll go out for a bit," Bourne said and quickly left.

Looking at Bourne's back, Ultear sighed and wondered whether her fiance was a bad guy or a good guy, but well, whether he was a good or bad, it didn't really matter for her since she loved him. She moved to the driver seat and started to drive, but then the car crashed into the tree in front of her.
